hunter rolled up her bedroll and put it in her travel pack before placing it on her back. she flew over to the others and readied up for their trip. she stood next to Chet of course, after all she liked him a little bit above a friend, even though she met him yesterday

Apple Doom looked at Aurea and continued talking. "So what instrument is the hardest to make?" he said as he started trotting from a slow pace to a slightly quicker one.

With that she dexterously extracted an apple from her saddlebag with a wing

"Would this be one of yours?" she asked, holding it in front of him.

"As for flying, do you notice have to consciously place one foot in front of the other while walking? Flying is similar - it becomes natural  It gets tiring after a while, but I fly enough that It doesn't really bother me".

She demonstrated by flexing her wings slightly, and flapping them a few times in imitation of herself in flight, then they settled back down, covering less of her cutie mark than normal.

Noon noticed the others beginning to walk, so she levitated her sleeping bag into her saddlebag and beckoned Winter to join her. "It looks like we better go join the group." She galloped up to the rest of the group and made a few observations. Two coupled were slowly forming among the rest of the group, clear based on the spacing of ponies. One nervous stallion, two excited mares and one hardy stallion with an attraction barely visible. Well, Noon thought in her mischievous little brain, it looks like pretty soon we will be romancing the plains.

Winter's ears perked up at the sound of Noon's voice.  She seemed to be taking the snake bite well.  "Coming!" He replied while catching up.  At Noon's side Winter asked, "Whatcha think Appledoom's got planned for the trip.  He seems very eager to get a move on."  

 

A long trip seemed ahead of them, though Winter didn't mind walking, especially since everyone was paired up in groups of two.  "All the more time with Noon."  he thought.  Nothing could tire him of this walk.

She balanced the apple on a wing and held it out in front of him as they walked, holding it perfectly steady despite the variations on the ground "Can you even tell by looking at it?" She asked, beforehand always thinking of apples as merely food. She kept her other wing close to her body in a sign of relaxation. She smiled as he watched her, not knowing whether he knew a Pegasus considers his or her wings one of the more sensual parts of the body.

He continued to wonder. He then proceeded to answer the question her question. "maybe if you take a bite of the apple i would know. If it taste like a regular apple then its not mine. If its the best apple you have had then its mine." he chuckled a little.

"The decreasing distance between them suggests mutual attraction. She frequently goes red whilst speaking with him, as does he occasionally. She is obviously impressed by his strength and toughness, however too obviously. This implies that she has never been in love, or at least not like this. Her eyes are clearly not in need of glasses, so she must wear them to look good, as with her mane. Her advanced fashion sense suggests an outgoing pony, possibly a party animal." Noon looked back at Winter and giggled at his wide eyes. "But yeah, puzzles are fun."

Noon went red when Winter pecked her on the cheek, stopping and thinking before giving a smug reply. "It tells me that you're a terrible kisser." At that she lifted up her hoof, pulling his head towards her and letting the space between their lips disappear. The moment seemed to last forever, a feeling she had never experienced wrapping her up tightly.

Winter Chills was taken entirely off guard by Noon's intimate reply.  The moment was more enjoyable than anything he had ever experienced!  He stood there kissing her back.  He didn't care about the others, nor did he care about whether or not he was doing it right for that matter;  This was the best feeling he had ever experienced.  Words fail to fully describe the moment as the two ponies embraced. 

 

That being said, Winter just let it happen and enjoyed his first kiss.  He was content...

Noon's words touched a part of Winter deep inside and all of his tensions released.  At that moment, he knew for a fact that the feeling was mutual.  "I love you too..."  he said while gazing through glazed eyes at the love of his life.  

 

After many moments, he noticed the rest of the ponies were far off into the distance ahead; So he held out a hoof and suggested "Walk with me?"  As gentlecoltly as he could.

"Oh your on!"  Winter replied to the playful pony, as he burst into a gallop.  Ten seconds flat and Winter arrived on the scene.  Noon won...  By a lot...  "Pffft, you had a headstart," Winter laughed as he knelt down and unwrapped the worn wrap on Noon's hoof.  "Well you sure healed fast."
