It was sunset, night was falling, and it was getting cold, but still Chetnik didn't know where the hell Apple Doom was taking him and the group.

 

He had his old army jacket with him. It wasn't very cold for him, since he had experienced blizzards during the war - and survived them without jackets with the rest of his air force unit. He put it on Hunter, who just couldn't stop shivering.

 

"here, Hunter" Chetnik said, "Put it on, it'll keep you warm"

@@Quiles, Apple Doom was further amazed by the Pegasus. "Wooooow! You are really talented with those wings!" Apple Doom got a thought in his head. I wonder what they feel like. They look really soft. He continued to wonder. He then proceeded to answer the question her question. "maybe if you take a bite of the apple i would know. If it taste like a regular apple then its not mine. If its the best apple you have had then its mine." he chuckled a little.

Chuckling as she didn't quite believe him she flicked it up and crunched it in one bite, ladies manners were for the city. For a moment her pupils dilated and glassed over as the taste reached her tastebuds before she snapped out of it with a joking smile "That was a damn good apple, but not quite that good" she dug out another and held it out to him.

She had been keeping an eye on winter and noon in the meanwhile, and rolled her eyes as their "Already shuckling up" she mentioned to apple doom with a wink. She resumed her normal stance, wings covering most of her cutie as the other two approrached.

"My story?"  Winter was slightly caught off guard by the question, "I'm not really sure what there is to tell, but okay."  Winter gathered his thoughts for a moment, "I guess I'll start from  elementary school.  You see, I was just your average blank flank, but at the time only a few of us had our cutiemarks.  I was bored with schoolwork and always enjoyed playing outside with my friends.  And Cheerilee...  She was the nicest pony I ever did met,  honestly though... I think I might have had a crush on her."  Winter laughed and checked to see if Noon still wanted to hear about what he thought was a boring subject.  "Anyways, somedays after school my mom would pick me up for a treat so I didn't have to walk home.  I always loved it when my Mom would take me for ice cream."  Then His past hit him like a freight train, "I mean, those are my best memories of her..."  tears began to form in his eyes, "She--uh--I," His voice cracked at the memory, "She passed away, the day I got my cutiemark..."  His head lowered as he tried to maintain his composure.

 

Winter turned to face away from Noon, "I'm sorry I brought it up..."  He didn't really care to finish his backstory at this time.

Noon smiled and laughed at Aurea's words. "You shouldn't be." She said, gesturing behind her head to Apple Doom. "Anyways, nice to meet you Aurea. Sorry about that." Noon then put her map back into her saddlebag and trotted over to Winter. 

 

"No worries, I forget to turn the sarc down outside of the city sometimes" Aurea was wondering what Noon had meant by her "you shouldn't be" and following gesture, surely she didn't mean. Nah It isn't like that, is it? This gave Aurea a little bit of a problem to ponder and she frowned as she ran it through her head.

And then Chetnik saw the moon shining in the night sky.

 

"Beautiful, isn't it?" Chetnik then proceeded to return the kiss, it was the most beautiful feeling of his life.

Chetnik's face instantly lit up, he was never really liked as a teenager in his homeland, but it was clear that Hunter liked him. He had the same feelings for her too.

 

And then Chetnik saw the moon shining in the night sky.

 

"Beautiful, isn't it?" Chetnik then proceeded to return the kiss, it was the most beautiful feeling of his life.

when Chet kissed Hunter, she moved closer to him until their bodies were touching and rested her head on his shoulder

"Luna always does a beautiful job, but this one is more special"

she nuzzled his neck. her heart rate increased to a rate its never been before

Then His past hit him like a freight train, "I mean, those are my best memories of her..."  tears began to form in his eyes, "She--uh--I," His voice cracked at the memory, "She passed away, the day I got my cutiemark..."  His head lowered as he tried to maintain his composure.

 

Winter turned to face away from Noon, "I'm sorry I brought it up..."  He didn't really care to finish his backstory at this time.

 

Noon's eyes teared up at the statement. "I'm so sorry..." She wiped her eyes with a hoof. "That's horrible. Nopony should have to experience that." Noon barely noticed that the sun was gone from the sky and dusk was upon them. She sat down with  the rest of the group and listened to Apple Doom.

 

He then turned his head around and yelled out, "Take 5 every pony. I still want to continue walking. We have a lot of ground to cover." He then stopped fighting back the look of pain.

 

Noon turned her head to the group leader. "Shouldn't we stop for the night?" She grabbed a jacket out of her saddlebag and put it on.

He thought to himself, as the strain of pulling a cart with a broken wheel was getting to him. He then turned his head around and yelled out, "Take 5 every pony. I still want to continue walking. Winter Chills felt bad for depressing the mood earlier and was tired from both walking and mourning.  After all these years, he still didn't know quite how to control the pain.  He approached the white mare, "Hey Noon.  I didn't mean to bring up my-uh... you know...  Anyways, I just wanted to apologize for earlier.  This is supposed to be fun and I don't want to infringe upon your first camping trip."  Winter leaned forward and gave Noon a hug, "So whattaya say you tell me your story?"  He said with an inviting smile as he began to build a fire.

"On the other hand, its good that you found some good work suitable to your talent.  Frankly, I don't even know what mine means..."

She said, her eyes darting from each unique figure to another.

Winter accepted Noon's lovely kiss.  Then leaned back next to Noon.  "Yeah, the night sky truly is one of the most beautiful of times."  The cool night air and the warm fire couldn't have been any more comfortable, yet Winter's mind tricked him into feeling cold.  This urged him to move closer to Noon, so he did.  Her body heat was the greatest of all comfort, and as he nuzzled her neck he whispered "However, I prefer Noon..."

Winter, pleased to feel Noon's mutual affection, gazed into the night sky as he felt the unicorn drift off into bliss.  Finally those cozy nights by the fire next to that very special somepony had became a reality.  He couldn't have wanted anything more, utter serenity.  "Good night Noon." Winter whispered as he too fell into slumber.

 

(OOC: Thank you.  However, badass can be a pain in the plot to clean up.)
