Apple Doom was overjoyed by the kiss. "Wow...just wow. That was the best kiss i ever had." He looked back at Aurea's wings. I wonder why her wings are pointed up. is she cold? He thought to himself. Apple Doom looked up at the sky and saw that it was getting late. "It seems like its going to be a cold one tonight, would you like to join me in my tent?"

 

"I would say I've done better, just to make you jealous, but that would be bullshit"

Aurea quickly noticed her wings and forced them back into a relaxed state, before wrapping one around Apple Doom again.

"I don't see any reason why not, but don't get any wild ideas, I've only known you for a day or so and know where you would hurt" her voice was partially joking and partially serious.

Noon awoke to an early morning sunrise, the blades of grass like a pillow against her head as she laid there with Winter. She stood up and stretched. "Rise and shine!" Noon said, giggling as she nudged the still-slumbering stallion. The sun was just peeking above the horizon, laying over the dull green plains a beautiful quilt of orange and red light.

Noon's voice stirred the sleepy stallion, and in all honesty he didn't want to get up.  I mean it was just daybreak after all.  "Okay, okay.  I'm gettin' up... *SNORE*"  Winter slurred his words in his effort to wake, but it was in vain.  The soft grass proved too comfortable and slumber overtook him again.

Aurea packed her violin away, slipped into the tent and then wriggled down into the sleeping bag next to him

"I hope you don't mind, but cuddling is fun" she whispered as she enveloped him in wing and hoof both. Slowly she began to drift into the grasp of sleep.

Noon stood up, heard his babbling voice and turned around to see Winter laying on the ground in a new position, a pool of drool forming adjacent to his mouth. "C'mon Winter, the early bird gets the worm." She said, levitating the limp figure into an upright position with her magic.

She smiled warmly "I slept wonderfully. And turnovers sound great as long as you make some for the rest as well, they wouldn't want to miss out"

She gave him a brief kiss and slid out of the sleeping bag, flexing her wings.

"I'm going to go for a brief flight, its a morning ritual of mine"

With that she nudged her way out of the tent and quickly took off.

The sun shined through the tent. Chetnik woke. "Ej, dušo, ustaj" (Hey, honey, wake up) Chetnik said while kissing Hunter on the cheek, "we got a long day ahead of us".

 

Chetnik saw that almost everyone was awake except Hunter of course.

 

He then brohoofed (sounds better than hoofbump) Apple Doom.

 

"Hey dude, sleep well?" he said to the happy pony making apple turnovers.

Apple Doom was delighted about the kiss and watched Aurea fly away. Wow, she is something else...something special. He thought as he walked out of the tent. Apple Doom then got ready to make his signature turn-overs. He started mixing the ingredients together when he noticed Chetnik walking towards him. He received the brohoof from him and proceeded to answer his question. "Hey there, ah can you keep a secret? I barely slept last night. I drank too much of my special drink to keep me awake." Apple Doom said as he made sure no pony else heard him. "How about you? Did you sleep well?" he said as he returned to making his apple turn overs.

she stretched to wake up her sleeping muscles

"Special drink? To stay awake? Is that some magic potion? Or alcohol?" Chet asked Apple Doom.

 

"Well, I have to admit I take my homemade brandy wherever I go. It's a really useful thing, alcohol. Good for wounds and drinks, I don't know anypony from the motherland who doesn't like a good cold beer! *chuckle*"

 

"Well, when you're done cooking, call me, I can hardly wait to try some real country food!"

 

And then Chetnik approached Hunter, still stretching: "If you need me, ljubavi moja (my love), I'll be in the tent resting."

 

Chet hugged her, went in the tent, put his šajkača on and cooled off from the hot weather.

Apple Doom put some frosting he had purchased from town, as a finishing touch to his apple turn-overs. Oh yeah, my cooking is good. I'm sure everyone will enjoy these. He thought as he looked around the campsite. "BREAKFAST EVERYPONY! GET IT WHILE ITS WARM!" He yelled so everyone could hear. He then walked to the extinguished fire and put the turn overs on an elevated surface.

Aurea returned from her flight, landing gracefully next to the food

"Just like you to be making apple food huh" she smiled and nudged Apple Doom.

Her wings ruffled a little and then settled down, ironing out the kinks from a short flight and she briefly stuck her muzzle in her feathers and extracted a choice out of place member.

Aurea giggled as she ate and leaned over to whisper to Apple Doom "Pegasi consider wings a rather, sensual body part so to speak and most be a little offput by the staring, I don't mind but I thought I'd warn you" and with that she playfully flicked his muzzle with a wing tip before setting back to eat, wings in almost a showing off position.

He thought to himself as started to lick his turnover awkwardly. Just then he heard Chetnik and his words.@, After being startled and making a couple weird noises he turned his attention to the pony. "you know, that sounds like a good idea friend. I'm glad you like my turnovers." He said as he rubbed his face a little

Aurea had finished her turnover, so while she was waiting for the others she dug out her violin and began to play a lively jig to greet the morning. It soon developed into a a sort of fast waltz before getting faster and faster and breaking off into a crescendo.
