"Wow these are amazing!"  Winter gleamed as he mowed down two turnovers.  "Hey Noon!  Try one of these!"

 

When he finished licking his lips, Winter looked back to Appledoom, "Hey bro, do you think you could teach me how to make these sometime?  I'd love to get the recipe."

Noon put her materials back into her bag and trotted towards the fire, levitating a turnover before her. "Never had one of these, looks pretty good." She took a bite, a wave of heat and flavor crashing in her mouth wonderfully. "Damn!" She exclaimed. "These are good!" Noon very soon finished it off.

Noon's ear pricked at the sound of the violin. "Hey Aurea!" She said, walking towards her saddlebag. "I brought a piece of sheet music that I planned on studying during the trip." Noon levitated in in front of her. "It has an optional violin accompaniment. Wanna try?"

(OOC: sorry for the long post but this is the point where someone gets killed off...im just setting the scene.)

 

"Maybe, it is an award winning recipe after all. I'm glad you like them" Apple Doom said to Winter smiled as he finished his turnover. I'm glad i have someponies with me this time out, he thought. It was getting to be the time to shove off and Apple Doom was eager to leave. He began to pack up his things in a calm manner. He passed by Aurea and danced to the melody a little. "beautiful music from a beautiful mare" He said as he continued to dance past her.

   Apple Doom went to his cart and started to get the harness on around him when he noticed a slight pick up in the wind. This is strange. There wasnt any wind or signs of it earlier. OH BUCK! He got a thought through his head. He quickly slammed his gear to the ground which made alot of noise. "EVERY-PONY STAY HERE!" He shouted as he galloped ahead. He then started to climb a steep hill that was a little off the path they were headed on. His worst fears came to light. A tornado was headed straight for them.

 Apple Doom galloped as fast as he could back to the group. He was panting heavily as head explained to the group the situation. "There is a tornado that is going to hit us. There isnt anything we can do. The pegasi of the group might be able to fly high enough to avoid it but i suspect that the wind speeds might be too much."

Hunters eyes lit up in shock

"tornadoes go in one direction, if we change direction, we might be able to evade it"

hmm, reading that book on natural disaster really paid off

Hunter saw the towering windstorm ahead of them

"we have to think quick"

"Срање!" (shit) Chetnik yelled as the tornado got closer and closer.

 

"Guys, the only way we could stop this is by reversing the tornado. It's highly dangerous and highly difficult, but it's possible, and I'm willing to take the chance. Or we could fly away, but not all of us are pegasi, and I wouldn't leave anyone behind" he said.

 

"Wish me luck" Chetnik told the others as he started flying towards the twister, šajkača and airforce uniform tighly on.

@,  Apple Doom tried to stop Chetnik. "NO YOU FOOL! The wind is too strong for you!" He yelled as the tornado got closer. He then looked around as the campsite started to fall apart. The winds were getting fierce and time was running short.

Aurea laughed briefly before taking off in an instant "Not if I help" as she streaked towards the tornado, following Chetnik's lead. She was a quiet, artistic pony at home but she lived for the moments like this, the moments when she could be truly free.

it was too late, chet was in the air. tears started to form in Hunter's eyes, she thought about flying after him, but it looked so dangerous and just sat on the ground, not moving like a pony in shock

(OOC: For the love of Luna, don't kill Winter off, I can post surprisingly often and I'll stay on top of it.  However I will be gone from Thursday until Monday with a state DECA competition an Idk if we are allowed to bring our laptops.  By no circumstances will I leave the  RP, so read this...)

 

Winter was appalled to see Chetnik and Aurea willingly throw themselves into the storm.  His first thought was Noon, "You gotta get out of here!" He screamed over the deafening winds.  The dust began to fill his lungs and breathing grew painful.  After glancing back at the growing cyclone Winter shoved Noon down into a ditch so the wind would hopefully blow over her.  

 

At this time the tornado was right on top of them, and you couldn't see past the end of your muzzle.  The winds increased in force as Winter began to lose traction on the ground beneath him.  As he release an inaudible shout, the twister carried him away and all his new friends vanished in the cloud.  His last thoughts were of Noon before he fell unconscious.  His limp body lost in the mask of whirling dirt.

"AUREA!" Chetnik yelled over the ear-piercing sound of the wind and objects being thrown around "we've got to give it our all! To be honest, I've never stopped a tornado this size, but together I believe we can pull it off!" Chetnik turned his head to face the tearful pony way behind him and said: "Hunter! I'll be fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine!" as he glided into the raging twister.

Chet's words cheered Hunter a little bit, it stopped the tears and made her feel like its the time for action. she noticed a shovel pitched into the ground and had an idea. she started to dig a trench big enough to fit everypony in but narrow enough that the tornado will blow straight over without damage caused

Noon screamed from the ditch as the twister picked up her lover. The moment seemed so long, as Winter just flew off away from her vision. All she could do was stare as the one stallion she has ever loved was taken away by the terrifying cone of wind. Tears flew swiftly from her eyes, sobbing as the tornado grew a distance away from the campsite. After a while she looked around, realizing that only two other ponies remained on the ground near her. Noon quickly gazed over the debris back at the storm, seeing the shape of two pegasus ponies flying around the horrific natural disaster. "They're trying to stop it." She mouthed to herself, fear, sadness, and awe completely taking over her.

Apple Doom looked on with a stern face. He grabbed two ropes and lasso'ed the two giving them alot of leeway. "I HAVE THEM IN CASE THEY CAN'T HANDLE THE VELOCITY AND THE G-FORCE!" Apple doom yelled as his face got pommeled by debris. the Tornado was getting fiercer and soon it was blowing the campsite away. Apple Doom's heavy cart was starting to move; the winds were not dying down.

Chetnik was starting to lose hope - maybe Apple Doom was right.

 

And then he realized all of the horrible things that could happen if Aurea and him failed.

 

Adrenaline was pumping through his veins, giving him an extra dose of energy. Chet was flapping his wings harder and harder.

 

"WE CAN DO THIS!" Chetnik yelled as he was battling the extreme wind speeds.

She nodded, shouting above the wind "I'll follow your lead captain". She put more and more strength into her wings, going faster and faster, pushing herself harder and harder. It was exhilarating, but she could not keep this up forever. She still had more than enough fight left however.

Apple Doom decided he would think the current situation through. That Chetnik does seem more than capable to kill this tornado, and with Aurea with him... A thought popped into his head. one that disturbed him deeply. what if she gets hurt?! i can't let that happen. Without giving it a second thought he inched towards the tornado. Debris was flying everywhere and was getting more abundant as he got closer to the tornado. This proved to be a fatal mistake on Apple Doom's part. He did not see a rock flying towards him at a high speed. It struck him with enough force to knock him out. He layed on the ground lifeless with a tear in his eye.

 

@,@@Quiles, The tornado started to die down. Eventually the tornado turned into a light breeze. Everything in a close proximity was messed up. As the dust settled, the group could be seen in their bunkers they had dug.

as the tornado died, Hunter poked her head out of the trench

"everypony ok?"

she climbed out of the hole and brushed off the dust on her coat looking around at the complete mess the camp site was in, she picked up one of Chet's books, it was ripped to pieces. her eyes then fell upon Apple Doom

Chetnik flew out out of the tornado and landed with a thud.

He noticed knocked out Apple Doom a few meters away, a large rock near him.

 

"OH SHIT! SHIT SHIT SHIT!" Chetnik yelled, running to Apple Doom.

 

He pressed on his wounds, blood pouring out of them.

 

He pumped on his chest, hoping to reanimate him.

@,Apple Dooms body was still limp. A faint heartbeat could be felt as the blood trickled down his head.

 

Ever since the tornado was diffused there hasn't been a noise other than the group of ponies. There was no wildlife around and the sun was beating down on the plains.

Hunter was helping Chet by holding Apple Doom in place, there was panic on her mind and the hope that they can help their wounded friend

"come on, dont leave us like this, dont leave us like this"

her hoof on his chest picked up a beat

"i felt a beat"

she noticed blood dripping down his head and quickly put a cloth over the wound to stop the blood loss

Aurea rushed over with the first aid kit she had thankfully brought with her, repeatedly cursing under her breath

"Oh you stupid earth pony, why couldn't you leave the crazy ass weather to the pegasi" she muttered as she swapped the wound with disinfectant and applied bandages, relieving Hunter of cloth duty.

Noon stood up, her eyes red, and trotted towards the group of ponies. She examined the crowd and pushed her way in so she could see what they were looking at. "Oh geez." Noon said, putting her hoof over her mouth as she noticed the stream of blood Apple Doom's head produced. "Is he gonna be ok?" She asked, turning to Aurea to see her applying bandages.

"I got you" Chetnik said as Apple Doom started coming to himself.

"You're gonna be just fine"

 

Chetnik carried AD to his cart, which was damaged - some of the planks missing and some snapped - but was miraculously still usable.

 

"Take a rest - you need it, we won't leave you behind."

 

He then went up to Aurea: "Thanks for the help - we did good, didn't we?"

 

And finally Hunter, who he hugged with all his might: "I was worried I wasn't gonna make it, but it's all okay, you stayed unscathed."

tears started to stream down her face, while she was being hugged, still scared from the tornado that almost ended her
