Chamois nodded.  "Ready."

Chamois gave her wings a cautious flap.  She lifted herself into the air carefully.  She flew forward a bit, her flying shaky and unbalanced.  She was leaning forward slightly, her head bent down low, which she was sure wasn't exactly the way it worked.

You probably look absolutely hilarious. 

Chamois, who was one to laugh at herself at times, almost smiled at the thought.  Then, she fell forward a bit.

Chamois quickly caught herself a bit.  She was sure she'd keep stumbling though.  She turned her head to Nightfall - not daring to turn her body - and held out her hoof.

 

Nightfall took Chamois's hoof and jumped up, starting to fly. He didn't look as stable as he would have been as himself, seeing as every different set of wings flies differently, but he was still stable. He looked at Chamois.

"OK, so, don't lean forward, and put your head up a little bit. That will help you be more stable."

Chamois nodded.  Slowly, she lifted her head up, concentrating mostly on flapping her wings.  She pulled her neck back slightly so that she wouldn't be leaning forward.  She fell back a bit.  She clutched Nightfall's hoof quickly and tried to balance herself.

Nightfall felt pulled back a little, looked back. Chamois looked like she was struggling a little. Nightfall lost a little balance himself. He dipped, and was forced to yank his hoof out of Chamois. He feared, though, that she would fall, so he swooped back up and put a hoof on her back while grabbing her hoof again.

"Are you ok?"

"Heh, sorry..." He moved away and changed back into his changeling form. He looked around and said, "Yeah, let's hurry and follow, we don't need to get left behind." He began walking to them. He smiled at the little reaction he had gotten from Arrow, and then put an arm over her shoulder as they walked on.

When he let go of her hoof, Chamois panicked.  She flailed her arms through the air, flapping her wings harder.  But simply flapping your wings won't make you fly right.

He put his hoof on her back and took her hoof with his other.  Chamois quickly tried to calm down.

"Er, I'm okay!"

Maybe we should just fly straight down and walk the rest of the way.  But flying straight there is so much faster, and I don't want to be more of a bother then I already am being.

Arrow smiled and looked up at the other's who were flying...she glanced back to look at her wings but realized they were covered by the armor.

She let out a slightly annoyed sigh and just kept walking next to Paradox. "Should I attempt making the cure for the poison joke now or later ?" She asked.

He held her tight against his chest and nuzzled her.

She nuzzles him back cheerfully, melting in his warmth. "Thank you, Lost Knowledge." She liked this experience with Lost, but she was also interested in her changeling form. She fluttered her wings gently, getting use to her new appearance and form. She liked this changeling form.

"Um... as much as I hate to ruin this, I think we should probably get moving." He said, pointing to the others who were well ahead of them.

He looked at Arrow. "Well, personally, I think you should wait for a bit. Why? Three reasons. One, it might have some armor advantages. Two, it will wear off eventually. And three... well, I kind of think it makes you look sleek and sexy." He said semi-jokingly, grinning his silly little grin and chuckled.

Chamois followed him towards the ground and smirked.  "Don't worry, I know I'm awful at flying."

Chamois reached the ground with only minor trials and landed, placing her four hooves firmly on the ground.

"Well, no, I didn't mean that! You actually did very, very well for not having ever flown before. And I'm being serious."

He looked sideways at her, blushing slightly. And he let go of her hoof when they got on the ground. But he didn't do it quickly; it was gradual.

Shade got to the gate and started to act casual... She looks at some of the guard that gave her an odd look, she looks away and continues towards the hive.

 

Once she was entering the town, she contacted the other ponies that seem to be slacking... ' ok... I think it's best if we don't stick together, attract less attention... just meet me in the center of the mane tower, we will talk about our plans there.' She said.

Chamois smiled and lifted her shoulders.

He doesn't mean that.  Hes just being nice.

Chamois paused slightly, deciding.  Then she exhaled silently through her nose.  She moved her head towards him and nudged his neck with her head.

He smiled when she nudged his neck, and wished that she had done it for longer. She did seem like she was "warming up" to him, and he liked it, but felt a little nervous about it as well. He pushed the nervousness as far back as he could as he trotted onwards.

"Right. We look like we're almost there, Chamois."

If changelings could blush, he would have done so immediately. But he just looked at Chamois.

"Because while Shade says that we should split up, I, um... I don't want to leave you... You know, just so we don't get lost."

Nightfall sat there and listened to what Chamois had, or, well, was going to say, but she never finished her sentence and that made Nightfall worry a little for her.

He got a little closer to her.

"Because I- I honestly hope that you are ok."

Chamois almost stepped away when he moved towards her.  But she held her ground and watched him.  "I...er...don't want to be...captured..." she sent slowly.

Its not completely a lie.

"I'm fine.  Really, I am.  Just...uh...afraid.  Cause...you know...changeling hive and all that."
