Rambler heard the growls of the zombies approaching from behind the group.

 

"No more time to stand here talking about it. I'm going to go as fast as I can, so everypony try to keep up."

 

With that, he grabbed Nightfall by the hoof and dove into the water, swimming towards the end of the tunnel as quickly as possible.

Diamond hesitated for a moment. "I...You're right you're right...take a deep breath and swim straight that way...the end of the tunnel is not far at all." She said, she reached to the pony closest to her who happened to be Coco. "Slimy, take hold of Coco's hoof. both of you, Take a deep breath." She said, leading them into the water. The zombies growl's got louder and louder as the zombies got closer and closer.

 

Nightfall let go of the ponies' hoof he had grabbed., almost stunned and feeling completely useless.

"Thanks, Rambler..."

He reached out to take Rambler's hoof, but hesitated.

"Just go by yourself. Right now, Diamond isn't concerned with you. Besides, you'll die eventually; why not end it now? You're useless and you're slowing everyone down."

He almost pulled his hoof back.

"Let's..."

But Rambler dove in, pulling Nightfall with him. Nightfall didn't have a chance to take a deep breath...

Slimy covered the bag on his back with a layer of green ooze, hoping it will protect the stuff from getting wet.

Coco felt desperate. Everyone seemed to ignore the fact that she had a cat inbetween her wings and a pony made of slime. But before she could do something, she found herself being led by Diamond into the water.

"So I'm going to loose both of them now, right..?" she got tears in her eyes. She could see Slimy's hooves getting somehow jelly, loosing the shape..

"No.." her eyes got full of resolve and hope. She got out of Diamond's hoof. "Sorry." she said silently, grabbing the cat from her back, holding her tight with her hoof and holding on Slimy's hoof with her other hoof. She jumped into the water, pilling Slimy with her. All of them disappeared in the water.

 

She used her wings to replace her front hooves in swimming. She could feel that Slimy's hooves are getting more and more soft and unstable and that Raindrop is scratching and biting her in the panic, trying to get out of her hoof, but she tried to ignore all of this, just to get to the tunnel.

Diamond's eyes widened slightly. "Ugh, Coco." She muttered, taking a deep breath and following her into the water. She spread her wings and swam up next to Coco. Before Coco could do anything, Diamond grabbed onto Coco's cat so she could focus on Slimy.

The cat scratched and bit at Diamonds forelegs, but moments later, she broke the surface of the water in the river...which was moving very quickly and it pulled her, and the cat down towards the forest.

Slide began to swim, trying to see with the water in his eyes. He reached out and grabbed the first hoof he felt, (Nightfall) and swam along with it. 'I really hope we get up to shore soon. I can't hold my breath for much longer!' He thought as he pulled his way through the water.

And since I missed a bunch from this RP, and figured Lite is "dead", I'm just gonna randomly appear where you're about to be at, k? k. Maybe this will also give me motivation to get back into Pranceton as well....))

 

Meanwhile, Lite was outside, on the ground, slowly lingering in pain. Even though she had just gotten out of the school, she had already managed to fall down the dorm stairs... All 8 flights. Not to mention that a bunch of zomponies had shown up inside the school, and she had just barely been able to escape with her life right there.

 

She looked around, now entering the forest... Tears had started to fall down her face, knowing that she was probably cut off from all contact... All her friends must have been captured... Including Slide... She fell to the ground, bawling at that point, just thinking about Slide... It was probably his same feeling as of now...

Slide came up, emerging from the water. He crawled onto the land, amidst a forest. Up ahead hesaw a pony...not a zompony, a real pony, up ajead. "Hey giys!" He called back. "I found somepony! A survivor!" He quickly ran up to it, and crouched down. "Hey are you okay..." He stopped suddenly, suprised. He recgonized this pony, but...it couldn't be... "Lite....? Is that...you?" He then smiled, and laughed. " You're alive! I thought you were one of them! This is amazing!" He quickly pulled her in and kissed her quickly. "I....I can't believe it!"

Rambler reached the surface at almost the same time as Slide and quickly pulled Nightfall up with him. The strength of the current continued to force him downriver as he struggled to keep himself and Nightfall above the surface while paddling towards the bank of the river.

Rambler reached the surface at almost the same time as Slide and quickly pulled Nightfall up with him. The strength of the current continued to force him downriver as he struggled to keep himself and Nightfall above the surface while paddling towards the bank of the river.

 

Nightfall almost went limp, he took as many deep, short gasps as the river would allow. He also coughed a great deal, and wanted to help Rambler get to shore, but every time he moved in such a way, he had to wince a little bit, considering that the moving would reopen cuts.
