 Ozone Layer looked up at the building. It was truly magnificent in all it's glory, it was time to open up for the day yet again. He loves the architecture, and it is simply diving teaching such wonderful students. He opens the gates and trots inside and down to his office. His wings are folded neatly over his back.

Lightning was excited for the first day at school. He made sure he was up early and had his saddlebags neatly packed for the day ahead. It was Lightning's ambition to join a flying team like the Wonderbolts eventually; his mother had been on a flying team back in the day and he was determined to do likewise. He arrived at school bright and early.

Autumn walked into her new class room.Even though she was only 17, she was going to be teaching an art class in the school.

She placed a pile of supplies on her desk.

"I wonder how many students I'll have... I hope not to many..." Autumn muttered to herself as she rearranged her desk.

''Mud, mud, mud, mud..'' Splinter said while trotting across the hall while his hoofs were covered in mud. ''Maybe I should start hovering. This is a pegasus school, after all.'' Splinter said while starting to hover. ''Plus I'll give whoever the janitor is less mud tracks to clean up.'' Splinter said while shivering at the thought of the strangely deep mud puddle he found himself in before entering the school.

Firebolt slowly flew to the new school she was enlisted in. Originally, she had been really excited. Now, she was worried. She wasn't sure if she was a good enough flyer to actually be accepted into the flying class. Or if she was smart enough for a science class. She was already worried, thinking she was late, but not attempting to go any faster. Her mind was too distracted with thinking of ways to try and avoid the other ponies. At least for now, anyway.

Splinter noticed a other pegasus looking rather nervous. ''Meh, what the heck. She'll probably avoid me anyways. Not like I'm gonna make any best friends.'' Splinter said to himself while hovering over to Firebolt. ''First time here?'' Splinter asked while cocking an eyebrow.

Annnnddd.... Already screwed it up. Didn't take you long, did it Firebolt? Firebolt thought, a bit annoyed at the pony suddenly greeting her. "Uh... Yes." Firebolt said, before trotting past him, trying to look as calm as possible. Though that question was most likely just a conversation starter, Firebolt didn't want to talk.

[Hex 17]

 Hex stared out the window, watching the newcomers fly-and some flop- into the school. She let out a deep breath and prepared herself for a new semester. Hopefully, one of these ponies would make her proud to call her student this time around.

 

"Here we go" she sighed.

''Oh, okay then. Bye.'' Splinter said while hovering away. ''She didn't look like she was in the mood to talk.'' Splinter thought while rolling his eyes. ''Well, I bet I'll have to see her later.'' Splinter thought. ''Its so empty.. Am I really that early? Usually I'm the latest pony in the entire school. Well, now it's usually.'' Splinter said while noticing another pegasus coming in through the door.

Sugar Rush grew anxious, she didn't know how long it had taken her to fly to the school, she didn't even know if she was late, he saddlebags were tightly wrapped on her waist **Crap, why didn't I go to sleep earlier, I was too busy preparing for today I'm gonna end up late** she said her face falling into an annoyed frown. She finally came to a stop, before she touched the ground. She blew her mane out of her view as she began to trot towards the building.

''Okay, lets go over everything.'' Splinter said while opening his saddlebag. ''Lets see here.. Lunch, Batmare headphones, iHoof, and books. Well, I have everything.'' Splinter said while shuffling through his bag. ''Yup. Lets just hope it doesn't get more crowde- Oh darn.'' Splinter while realizing the halls were beginning to get a bit crowded. ''Yeah, excuse me! Hey! Watch the tail, buddy!'' Splinter said while pushing through the crowd of pegasai.

Firebolt was starting to feel a bit claustrophobic in the large crowd. She was hoping leaving early meant she could avoid it. But no, as she had no idea where to go. "Were there even directions or something? Am I just a complete idiot?" Firebolt thought, looking around aimlessly.

Autumn pulled out a giant jar of macaroni noodles out of her saddle back and set it on her desk.

"Gunna do some macaroni art, its gunna be fun..." Autumn sort of sang, then went on to humming.

She pulled out glue and set a bottle on every desk, then set a piece of paper on the desks next to the glue.

Autumn got some plastic bowls from her desk and poured the macaroni noodles into the bowls then set a bowl on each desk.

"There, they're all ready to go." Autumn said with a satisfied smile.

Sugar Rush looked at the crowd of ponies, she gulped steadily, as she grit her teeth a little and her eyes dimmed, **Oki Doke, so this is not like Manehattan.... at all** she said looking at a variety of Pegasi flying around her, slightly pushing against her as she continued trotting, she considered flying, above the other ponies, saving more time and avoiding crashing into any others, but with the amount of ponies around her, it was nearly impossible to open her wings, she continued being pushed from side to side by the crowd, and tried her best to find her way into her first class.

Fireball burst into the school. "I hope I'm not too late", she thought to herself worriedly. Fireball had a habit of being late for every class she ever took. She ran to find her classroom, but had absolutely no idea which class was which. "Oh boy," she thought, "first day of school jinx strikes again.."

Realizing the only way she could get anywhere at this point was to fly, seeing as she was much smaller then the other pegasi. Though there was no room to spread her wings. Firebolt quickly jumped up and spread her wings as soon as she was above the other ponies, now flying over them. Now that she could see, Firebolt noticed a board. It looked like a schedule, so she flew over to it.

Sugar Rush spotted another pony, she had jumped and spread her wings as soon as she was above the others. Sugar Rush blew her mane out of her face again, took a step back in order to leap into the air successfully, soon enough she was out of the crowd "Heh, whatdoya'hknow" she finished with a sigh of relief and a grin, as she flew after the other pony, who was now reading a schedule.

''Okay! That is IT! Trotting isn't safe anymore!'' Splinter said while hovering up and smashing into a wall. He shook his head and sighed. ''Nothing but bad luck to go along with the first day of school. It's like the perfect combination.'' Splinter said while flying over to a schedule board, noticing the same mare he had seen along with another messy maned mare at the board as well.

Firebolt scanned over the classes until she saw her name. Apparently her first class was a flying class. Firebolt sighed and turned around to see another mare flying towards her, as well as the stallion from before. She quickly began to fly past them, trying to avoid them.

Rush flew towards the schedule, quickly skimmed through it, trying to find her name "meh meh meh....annnnndddd... RUSH" she said smashing her hoof on the wall as she grinned, at least now she'd have a place to go instead of mindlessly flying through the air.

''Yes! I'm in.. Flying class?'' Splinter said while his grin turned into a face of pure horror. (Like the first time someone played Slender) ''Why flying class?! Why me?! Why would they?!?'' Splinter said before he took a deep breath. He jumped at the sound of a hoof smashing a wall. He slowly looked over to Sugar Rush. ''Are you feeling okay?''

Firebolt's ears perk to barely hear the stallion say he was going to be in flying class. While not sure if she was in the same class with him. Friendly competition has always been something I love... She thought Nah. I prefer unfriendly. Firebolt smiled slightly, before making her way to the area the class would be held.

Autumn paced back and forth in her art class room.

 

"Where are all the ponies?! is nopony in my first period class? I need to teach somepony... or i won't get paid.. and if i don't get paid... i'll grow broke... and if i go broke... i'll be fired... oh dear oh dear oh dear..." Autumn rambled as she began fluttering back and forth.

"Oh, ehhh.. yea" she said smiling sheepishly and scratching the back of her mane "The name's Sugar Rush" she said still smiling, she looked around the crowd of ponies "Ehh... I gotta go" she said flying off to her class, **wait did he say flying class? well it might not be the same class, will it?**

''Wait!'' Splinter said while catching up with the mare. ''Are you going to flying class?'' Splinter asked curiously. ''And my name is Splinter. Just to pay back the favor of you telling me your name.'' Splinter said while shrugging. ''So, what class are you in? I mean, if you aren't in flying class.'' Splinter said as his smile vanished once again.
