"Eh...I say let the bastards come to us, I'll extend the picket line out to give us more of an alarm clock should they attack us." He lifted his hat brim "I'm former NLR me self, in case you haven't already discovered that, hah! That reminds me!" He reached into his coat pocket to pull out a piece of cloth. "This  right here, is a piece of my old regimental colors. I didn't want to give it to those rats, so I tore it up and gave a piece to the remaining men of the regiment....God save the nocturnal lass..." He suddenly remembered his place "Erm..sorry, nostalgia and what not" he said with a laugh.

(That sounds like a lot of fun. I was planning on learning arabic, but I can't get used to the alphabet.)

Cezary

Cezary smiles. "Oorah sir. Long live the true queen of Equestria. I only knew there was a civil war, not the extent of how crazy it got. So, where's the detachment that you wish me to command? Wait a minute... wasn't there a major battle that was fought here in the everfree back during the war? I think I know where the staging ground will be."

(Nah. Read/write and speak Spanish and Italian, hence Cezary's creative spanish curses, Read/Write french, and know a little Russian and German. I can read scottish, but not write or speak it.)

Cezary looks down. "I can guess why. As for an 'advance', the purpose isn't practicality, it's shock and awe. Rush in, throw the enemy into disarray, and make sure they don't know what's going on. The fact that our boys are ex-NLR is just a kicker. I think I'll have a little more luck in bladed combat, mainly because I'm not using a bayonet!" he listens closely to the musket fire. "I figure they're about 3 kilometers out. Should we go for them, or let them come to us?"

Lydia smiles. "It's nice to meet you. My name is Lydia. I'm guessing I couldn't trouble you to let me dissect one of the corpses of your kind could I? It's not a trouble if you don't want to let me, but that would be a great scientific opportunity!" she punctuates her statement by pouring herself another glass.

Rory shakes his head "no.. you wont dissect any of us.. thats really wrong okay?" he said as he sat down next to them "so.. about that story.."

 

 

 

JT smiled, "I guess in a way I helped the world, but really it was all of the men and women, or stallions and mares, that have there lives for the cause" he said.

 

Rocket smiled, "definitely some hard cider for me my good sir" he said as he handed the waiter the menu.

Celestia nods "and i thanked them.. one by one.. but.. Cezary.. and Golden Age.. they hate me.. they think i am not a good ruler.. no matter what i tell them.. they wont believe me.. but.. oh well.. im not perfect." she said sadly.

A lone human didn’t join the PACE, as he was walking around Equestria, finding Canterlot to live with the Ponies, as he was keep walking and thinking about the past. Since he saw what PACE was doing to the Ponies and he didn’t like it. So he took off before joining them and just walking alone so this way they can’t find him.

Fireblaze was sleeping in his mountain home, while he was dreaming about something also remembering his missing parents too and was happy. Since this was his off day since the war was over and he was having a good day too.

"As we are...or...." one said, his voice trailing off "As you are, I don't care, so long as ye bring yourselves!" Golden Age replied. "They probably will choose that as the fighting ground." His voice began to trail off "...fur mein willen, Ich hoffe nicht.."

I've heard good things about y'all, and the operation we are in charge of is going to get pretty dicey. To put it succintly, we're going to be a distractionary flanking force so that the main force is able to get into position. I won't lie, it's going to be dangerous, and I'm going to make participation volunteer only. I should mention that these fellows are big fans of Celestia, so if you want to rip the Solar Empire a new one this is the closest we're going to get. Who's with me?"

JT smiles and says, "well.... i dont really know what we can do... once again i was fighting more than looking for spots to take a lady on a date." he starts to laugh
