Nightshade had finished pitching his small dog tent, perfect for campaigns. He, along with the rest of the regiment, had been told today was a "day off". It was now a strange feeling to him that there wouldn't be any picket duty tonight.

MoonSparkle stops flying when she spots some other pony's, she quickly descends and lands neatly, before stopping these pony's didn't look that friendly to her, far from her sheltered life. She contemplated going up and talking to them be she decided on the safest option, of staying where she was, if they wanted to talk to her then they would. She sat down knowing her bright orange body would be easily spotted however she left enough room to get away if things turned nasty

"I know EXACTLY what you're talking about... for a very long time I flew logistics. A logistics pilot is never heard, never seen. I spent every day wondering what would happen if a goddamn stealth bomber would uncloak and make me disappear, then I'd get bitched at because I wasn't helping the war effort. I spent every cent I had every day to keep flying, but it was never enough. Whatever you've been through, it pales in comparison to watching your best friends get vaporized because YOU went for glory, so DO NOT tell me that I am out of line... you have no idea what the hell you're talking about."

All of a sudden JT's radio goes off it is a call from a spy

"You might want to attack tonight, they are sending a huge amount of their fleet back to earth to pick up a huge new weapon."

 

JT says "understood" into his radio and turns to his group, "get the message out, the attack is happening tonight!"

 

Rocket nods and sadly turns to Colgate, "I guess I will be leaving tonight" he says, with some years in his eyes.

Dictors, get points on anything that moves and get our big guns into position. Get that Titan's doomsday up, I want that station to meet my good friend Mr. Antimatter. Carrier, go into triage and keep everyone alive. Listen to Squad Comms and Fleet Comms for any further orders, I'm trusting you guys... Fly safe and raise some Hell!" He said into his earpiece.

"Roger, Don't worry... they stand no chance against us... we held off TEST for a week that one time!" came the confirmation.

"To Arms, to arms!" Golden Age shouted. His men were running out of their tents, buttoning coats and rushing to get cartridge boxes and belts on. The musicians were sounding assembly, hopefully more ponies than him would also hear it. After a few minutes, his men were dressed. "Company, right shoulder shift, arms! At the double quick, forward march!" He now marched up to meet JT.

"heh heh... It's not their attacks you'll have to worry about... it's my concurrent orbital bombardment that should start about 3 minutes after the main attack... I have 4 destroyers pointing about 8 guns each at that area, if anything's in the area it WILL die." Said Cezary, only now recognizing the gravity of that situation.

"It's alright... we're planning on moving out in a few hours... I forgot how easy it was to miscommunicate back in civil war days... I was ordering a strike on the orbital base that PACE was operation from... a few of my old friends are going to make sure they can't get any reinforcements... speaking of which..." "Charlie, what's your status?"

JT called out on the radio, "commence operation Vietnam!" Then looked at his men, "lets go, we are leading the attack on manhattan "

 

Around equestria. The world lit up. Hundreds of thousands of equestrian and resistance soldiers attacked and overwhelmed PACE's strongholds. Appleloosa fell first, it was now flying a resistance flag. Detrot fell with many attacks from the sky. Thanks to rainbow dash. The only spot that was occupied by PACE was now manehatten.

 

(Ok little bit of god modding and speeding up now)

 

The entire resistance army from ponyville and canter lot was on a full assault of manehatten. At the citadel was JT and his friends.

 

"It's been an honor serving with you all. Now lets end this!" He said. Planting a C4 charge an blowing up the citadel door.

"Aim!" Golden Age yelled, desperate to get out at least one volley before the inevitable hand-to-hand combat. "Aim low, for god sakes aim low!..." He took a deep breath in "Fire!" A huge cloud of smoke suddenly envoloped he and his men. Once cleared, he could see the damage done. "Bloody good work lads, that's at least 20 or so!....Fix, Bayonet!" He drew his sword from the scabbard. "Charge, bayonet! THe company let out a intimidating warcry, sure to strike fear into the enemy. "Charge!" He ran foward, waiting for the clash of steel.

 

It was bloody work, all around him, he could hear the sound of meating entering skin. Many inverted their muskets and used it as a giant hammer to crush skulls and break bones. Some unfixed their bayonet and used it as a knife. "We got'em lads! Steady! Stea-" Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a man trying to go for him. Golden Age ducked and sliced the man in the back. "Steady! Rout the bastards!"

Cezary hacked into the PACE PA system.

"Attention all members of the militant faction known as PACE, you have been found by the CONCORD to be waging a war in violation of the Yulai Accords. If you lay down your arms now, and accept an unconditional surrender, you will be given an opportunity to defend yourself in a court of law. If you resist, as an officer of CONCORD I have authorized the use of any method necessary, up to and including deadly force, to prevent your further aggression. Please do not make me use those rights." He said, hoping that PACE would see reason in this situation.

"TO HELL WITH THAT! FIGHT TO THE LAST MAN EVERYONE, WE WON'T LET SOME GODDAMN PONIES AND A POLICE FORCE I'VE NEVER HEARD OF TAKE US!" came the General over the same PA.

"I was hoping he'd say that, all units, WEAPONS FREE! KILL THEM ALL! Raven flight, begin bombardment, leave nothing alive." Shouted Cezary over the radio as his combat armor materialized over him, he shouldered his rifle and joined the citadel assault.

(Meanwhile, in space)

Admiral Charles Fodder was having a very bad day. He had been called by a friend he thought was dead to fly to the ass end of nowhere and then asked to attack a force he didn't know existed... then that force had the nerve to shoot... WHATEVER it was, at his ship, almost killing half a million people, had they never heard of CONCORD?

"Scepters, those guys are trying to escape, move in and get points on them... Cyprus, what's the status of the rest of the fleet?" Came his call over the fleet communications.

"Our destroyer fleet has begun bombardment, Tango flight has taken care of most of the battleships and is cloaking up, and repairs on the Justice are almost done... but we're out of Strontium, so no more Triage..."

"Ok, let's just end this... deploy the doomsday weapon."
"roger." came the confirmation as the PACE station erupted into flame, then winked out of existence.

Just as guards came up to them all and about to open fire. The TARDIS appears in the middle as the barrier stops the bullets as Jack looks out " PACE members stop! they are with me!" he smiles hoping they will will for the lie.
