Need help with Plushie Tavi's mane!

I've recently been working on my first plushie, I've decided to go for Octavia, so far she's going well, I just can't get her mane right. If anyone could give me a template or could help me make one for both her top mane and bottom mane, (bangs and long part of her mane.) that would be great, please.
