Chrissie cut the cake into three slices, big enough so they could each have a slice with their complete name on it. "I hope you like it, it's one of my grammy's old recipies. She gave it to me when I was little."

Parso took a bite into the cake, it sent him way back to when he was just a young colt, his step-mother used to run a bakery and made cakes that tasted much like the one he was enjoying now

"wow, this cake is incredible, Chrissie, your baking skills are through the roof"

Chrissie blushed a deep red color. "Yes, my grandmother taught me many recopies when I was a filly. I am kind of glad she taught me, or I wouldn't be able to survive on my own like this." Chrissie now saw their shocked faces, and she realized that she had not told them about her late mother.

Emerald sucked in a big breathe and began to tell her tail. "Well, I originally lived in Appleoosa with my Mom and Dad, everything was perfect back then. Nopony was unhappy, or sick. We loved it on the farm. Than, my parents told me that we would be moving here, to Ponyville. I was devastated. I thought my life was ruined. I mean, it technically was. Because just a week later..." Chrissie sniffled, and wiped away a couple tears. "...Just a week later my mother died of cancer. My father was even more devastated than I was, he started doing drugs, stealing, and eventually landed himself in jail. I had already applied myself to school, and I knew my mother would have wanted me to go. I skipped my first two days, and bawled my eyes out.  My grammy had taought me to cook, so that helped a bit in the situation. But I learned the rest myself. So the next week, I went to school. The previous day I had found my mothers will, so I was now rich. Anyways, at school; I met Sunset and Ruby, who I did not in any perticuerly way care for. But I needed to make some friends, even if my friends were a little flankish. Oh, and remember that day when you arrived Parso? they told me to get intel on you, in case you might be a threat. Don't get me wrong, I didn't want to do it. It's just that....Sunset and Ruby can do pretty nasty things if they don't get what they want. Parso hugged Chrissie back, it seemed to comfort him as much as her. all the thought of the past made him think more about it, he opened his phone and looked through the photo gallery until he found the picture he was looking for. it was a slightly younger looking Parso and a mare with a pastel green coat and daisy white hair, she was kissing Parso on the cheek and he looked a lot happier than he did nowadays

"I need my stuff for second period, and the bell is about to ring." She tried to shove past Sunset, but Ruby just pushed her away from it. "Whatever, be late. It's not like it matters. We were coming here to ask if you want to go to Starbucks, like now."  Chrissie started to panic. "You mean...ditching?"  Sunset rolled her eyes at me, and sized me up. "Like, yeah, are you scared of something Chrissie?" I looked up at her, tears stained my face but all I could feel in my was anger bubbling inside me. "No, I am not, and I will not go with you. In fact, don't ever invite me to do stuff with you anymore." Sunset gawked, I wasn't surprised. She wasn't a one who was often told 'no' to. Ruby just glared at me, shaking her head. "Is it because of those losers you've been hanging out with Chrissie? No way a loser like them would be better then us." Ruby said, flicking her mane behind her back. "You think?" I replied, More angrier than ever. "You think just because you're beautiful, and popular, that you are so perfect?" I jabbed a hoof in Sunset's stomach. "Well? Do you?" Sunset's eyes darted everywhere around the room, looking for an escape. "Y-yes." she finally answered. "Wrong! That just shows how spoiled you mane-flipping, makeup wearing brats really are! Your vain, spoiled, above all that rude! You think the beauty outside is all you need in life, to be loved." Ruby waved her hand wildly in the air, but Chrissie ignored it. She already knew what Ruby was going to say. "My friends may not be as popular and as high class, but they are still beautiful, on the inside. They have many beautiful qualities such as kindness, understandingness, and so on. Feelings you could never understand ever if you tried! These are my real friends, you two. Stop pretending to be." The two mares were frozen in place, stricken at Chrissie's words. So it was now easy for her to get to her locker to retrieve her books for second period. Hoof and hoof with Parso and Lance.

he pulled a smile, one that he hasn't pulled in a long time, was his happiness finally coming back? only time will tell

 Lance had to say the truth. He didn't quite like any movie that was not as epic as Lord of the Horseshoes, or other adventure, fantasy movies. He knew that the media used even cinemas to insert messages in our heads and controll us like puppets, but he didn't want to let his friends down.

 

 "Well, I guess I could go with you, guys... I really do not have any interesting thing to do. I am not good at suggesting, but I'll see whichever movie you two decide to watch." He said.
