What would you want to see in a MLP video game

If I could see anything I wanted in a mlp video game I would first of all want it social. It would need a currency and games you can play with your friends. And best of all it needs some form of dueling.

Oh apple jack, you make it sound like it will be hard!

I wish they'd do something like South Park: The Stick of Truth.

Some type of RPG with Mass Effect style conversations. I'd want the focus to be on story. If Hasbro ever made a game like that, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

To be honest, the ideal MLP game for me is a handheld game. Something I could take with me wherever I go, and still have some privacy. The big screen is fine, but I don't want to get any questions or weird looks from friends and family. tongue.png

And by handheld I do not mean anything on a phone. I can't stand those types of games. I'm talking about a game on say, the Nintendo DS. By now it'd be more likely to be on the 3DS though, which is fine considering I'm gonna have to invest in one of those things anyway.

If they can make a DS game for G3 pony...

... Yeah, then they can easily make one for the new pony. I'd love a platformer similar to the 8-bit Adventure Ponies game on the Hub's website (obviously with a lot more depth to it and with graphics that aren't that crude) or a simple RPG where I can explore Equestria as any of the Mane Six. That would be the perfect MLP game for me. I would pour hours into it, and play it a little bit every night before I go to bed. smile.png

What about the Wii? sad.png

I'm in favor of an RPG. Maybe I'm biased because RPGs are my favorite kind of games, but to me, this makes the most sense. All of the mane 6 have different strengths, weaknesses and abilities, much like that of a party in an RPG. RPGs are more about strategy than brute force, and the show kinda promotes thinking about problems as well. I think if it were made into a game, it would transition well to an RPG.

An MMO would definitely be the order of the day. If the game is directed toward both bronies and the intended target audience of the show, I was thinking of something like Lego Universe.

Yes, I actually enjoyed Lego Universe. However, there were some flaws that needed to be fixed, like when you get the most OP weapons and gear at the freakin' start. If this MLP MMO were to do something like this while avoiding these flaws, I would be all over it like I was all over Lego Universe before it was shut down.

What about the Wii? img-1305589-1-sad.png

(Since the Wii is basically dead now, I'm going to automatically assume you said "Wii U")

Even though I don't have a Wii U, I have to say I am impressed by its capabilities and what it can do. However, since it's only very slightly higher in generation above the Xbox 360 and the PS3, Microsoft and Sony only need to make one flick of their wrists to create something many times better. And since it's not long before that happens, it seems like the Wii U was basically obsolete upon launch.

I'd like to see it sort of like a Spyro game. You would be Twilight Sparkle most of the game, but there would be levels where you would play as a the rest of the mane 6.

I think an open world game would be great. Explore Equestria, go on adventures and quest, have skills, it would be pretty cool. But I swear, if 90 percent of the game is somthing you gotta pay extra for (Hint: Gameloft) if its a free game, that is really gonna stink.
