Well if you want something with variety, I'd look for the Rising Metal compilation album. Good spread of '80s bands. As for what would make a good introductory playlist?

When I was first introduced to Megadeth I found this song, Symphony of Destruction from the Countdown to Extinction album. I still got space in my CD rack so I could fit some of those other artists in. Thanks Denim&Venom
