Ginger Snap blushed even more and a smile lit up his face. "Well.... I sure could use a bite to eat, and some entertainment would be nice as well." Ginger Snap scratched his mane and continued talking " A flower sandwich with some sweet cider sounds like just what I need right now."

Lance slowly nodded and stepped back, the others had good ideas... He himself was hungry.. And he knew everyone could use the rest asfter everything that happened. No sense in treating this like some sort of military emergency Lance reasoned, after all the danger had passed for now... So why couldn't everyone relax for a while? Lance slowly removed his Dragoon's armour and placed it aside with his saddle bag. Something kept nagging in the back of his mind but he jut pushed it away. He would worry later, for now he would content himself with watching everypony interact together.

 

Conversation would come, and nourishment was on its way he thought to himself, best make the most of it.

"Alright everypony looks like some of us needs a drink" he look around to see a lot of new faces "I'll be right back the show is about to begin" he excited he went to go pick up his guitar "alright let's do this" he said to him self. as he went back he sees the ponys little happy "this is sure to bring them up as he sets up his everypony grab your drinks he sits down in a chair (OOC: hey here's the song Littel big town tornado sorry I can't post a link on my iPod ) as he is playing he starts to see some happness in the group where like one big family now he thought to him self

After he and Meteorite returned with the cider, Diego stood aside from the other ponies. He knew that he wasn't trusted, and knew also that to earn that trust would take a long time. He levitated a mug of cider; altho he'd had a lot the previous night, he was still feeling as tho he could do with some more. Diego was prepared to do anything he was asked, as long as he was included. He'd felt very lonely during the years when he'd been ostracised by ponykind due to his powers, but had hidden it well; now tho, he felt he'd like to become part of a team.

 

As for anything else... he wasn't sure whether any mare would want to be with him in that way. After all, everypony must know of Starfall, his special somepony who had fled Equestria many years before for the griffin world. He didn't even know if the pale blue pegasus with the icy blue mane was even still alive. But then, it seemed as tho it was only Equestria which had ended, so maybe she would be...

Lance saw the infamous Diego off by himself as he purveyed the room and instantly started scowling, but caught himself. He was a soldier for Luna's sake, the among the best of them to boot! He was not some common guard and shouldn't act as such.. After all, hadn't he councelled the other ponies away from blaming Diego? 

 

Lance grumbled to himself, and glanced behind him to make sure no one would steal his armour or belongings, then: he walked slowly up to Diego.

Starry Night didn't trust many ponies, unless they were REALLY REALLY nice. Like her friend, Imagine, and somepony she could never trust was Halloween, a mischevious pegasus with pure black eyes, but somehow, he loved her, starry Night remembered all of her friends, and her heart sunk even farther.

Diego looked at Lance suspiciously, but relaxed a little when he saw that the pony had no guard pennant. He looked hard at Lance and replied, "I didn't choose solitude. I had it pushed upon me, once other ponies saw how my talent was for chaos magic. They shunned me, all but one... but even she left me alone in the end. I came here mainly so that I wouldn't be blamed for what was happening. Anything happens which is chaos based gets blamed on me."

Diego brought cider hey where's fire ball and the other pony " then suddenly a stallion rush through the door meteorite fell back to frozen "OHHH CRAP"

@ [Meteorite] "Yes, I do need to calm down... I am not normally like this, it's just it's the end of the world and I am not used to this type of thing." Frozen breathed and then relaxed. "Alright I am ready..." She smiled and then put away her map of Equestria. "Maybe another day we will search.. one day..."

"That explains alot then." Lance said, instantly understanding Diego so much more than he had before. "you came to explain yourself, and proclaim innocence. Even though you knew you were going to be blamed for it. You could just as easily walked away... So either you hope to be gaining something... Or you really are tired of traveling alone."

Lance smiled slightly." Well these ponies will open up soon enough I'm sure. They seem like an odd bunch themselves."

Lance looked back to his gear and Starry sitting beside it still. Of all the ponies here he was most worried about her stability. She was still quiet and withdrawn. Fireball seemed to be able to bounce back rather well, staying strong seemed like a strength of her own. Meterorite would always stay positive, its who he was. Diego was enamoured with Chaos, so he should be right at home. Blue had his friends.

"Even a lone wolf such as myself," Diego replied, quietly, "Gets tired of being alone sometimes. I guess I'll stick with these ponies, at least for the time being. When we don't know what's going on, it's best to be part of a group. And the mares will need all the stallions around to protect them. I don't know what I can do as far as that goes, but I'll do my best. My chaos magic is somewhat unpredictable but I've had enough practice by now to be able to use it however I like."

Lance glanced back at Diego. If you need a group your right to stay here. These ponies seem to have little idea of a plan. As for the mares I wouldn't be too presumptuous, I've met some that were pretty good soldiers. A few though.."

 

Lance glanced around the room again.

 

"A few though will need help in these times ahead. Though I wouldn't reply too much on magic at this point. This was something beyond simple Chaos. And the impossible already happened so I wouldn't be surprised if anything else we take for granted simply betrayed us as well. Either way.. if your traveling as a group you should learn to rely upon others here as well. It doesn't matter how much power or strength one has there will always be something that someone can do better than you."

Lance looked at Diego out of the corner of his eye, gauging him for a reaction to his next line, "Learned that from the Dragoon's."

@PONI3SFTW As the night went by meteorite notice the tension die down it looks like lance and Diego are finally getting along he didn't see blu or twilight hmm there probably sleeping as he look around he notice something odd a mare sitting next to lances gear it look she was griefing I should probably go talk to her he walk

over and said "Hello I'm meteorite what's yours" as he beside her there was response she probably still taking in all in he stood up and said "when ever you need to talk I'll be here"

Diego considered what Lance said, and looked doubtful. "I don't somehow think anypony here is going to want any help from me," he said. "They don't trust me. I know what they think of me, and in any case, I learned thruout my life that the only pony I can rely on is myself."

"Give it time and a little bit of effort. You will see, I came to here only for some R and R an knew only a few of these ponies, and now most everyone in here could point out that they see me helping those who were hurt or rendered incapable during the storm. Then again that could be more having to do with this."

 

As Lance said that he gestured at the difference between his own Red Cross cutie mark and Diego's Eight-Pointed Star.

 

"Besides," He continued, "If you give it a bit more I'm sure something else will happen that see's at least one pony finding use out of your chaos magic."

"Maybe," Diego replied. "We'll have to see. I expect that the plan at the moment is to sit tight here for the night, and leave in the morning. There's no use in staying round here; there's nopony else out there to join the group, and we might as well strike out rather than stay here."

Lance nodded slowly, finding a new respect for Diego for his reasoning. 

"I agree completely, there's no way the land can support as many ponies as we have here. I would actually recommend that when the group get's ready to leave you should find 10 to 12 ponies with similar goals such as yourself and travel in smaller groups like that. Having all the survivors here travel together will just lull every-pony into a heard mentality... Never a good thing in survival situations."

 

Lance eyed Diego, "But you already knew that I'm sure."

@every one As he stood up he walked over to where lance and diego "if you two need me I'll be on the the roof he said" they look at with some confusion he never been down since now he walk up to the top floor open the hatch to get to the roof he sat there stared at the stars and began to sob

Purple Pat just sat down in silence. She surveyed the are, trying to take in the flurry of activities happening before her. She argued to herself what to do, and briefly decided that not butting into others' business was the best route to take. She arched her back, stretching it, as she proceeded to close her eyes and let the noise outside die down.

She began snoring in a muffled manner.

Lance began to walk back to his gear. The day had long since been moving into evening and most all of the ponies in the Town Hall were passed out, and those who weren't were preoccupied with their own business. Lance went over his gear, making sure he would have everything he needed for what was to come. Seeing as how he was low on food and water he refilled his canteen with water, and took an extra flask of cider for the road. 

 

He was about to nab some food that was laying out, then looked about at all the ponies who seemed so much more worn out and less pulled together than himself. Thinking twice he left the food, I'll just find my own provisions he thought to himself before gathering his belongings together and re-donning his armour.

@Doc Ginger After hours of being on the roof meteorite decided it was time to go to bed he knew he needed his energy for tomorrow he quietly came down the hatch he did not to wake anypony he notice that lance was packing up like he was going some where he carefully went down the staris do comefront him about it " hey" he said in a whisper "where are you going" he said worriedly

Lance glanced over at Meteorite watching him, and waited a few seconds before responding. "It's personal business. I'm sorry." Lance however knew that this stallion would not be satiated by so few words and continued trying to reassure him.

 

"Don't worry about it alright? There are more than enough ponies here to keep an eye on you or vis-versa. You'll do alright here."

" hmm...whatever just get back here as soon ad possible if were not here where probably be in canterlot just don't get yourself killed out there" he said punch on the shoulder."hey looks like running low on food hold on" he said going to his saddle bag "here" passing him a snack." we got plenty of food "

Lance nodded and took the provisions offered. "Thanks. Though I would caution about Canterlot.. if this really is Equestria-wide everypony and their dog will be headed that direction looking for protection from their princesses... And Canterlot cannot support that kind of influx of...." Lance stopped himself. He was worrying needlessly again he was sure.

 

Lance waited until Meteorite wandered off then resumed putting his armour on, everything but the helmet. He l shrugged and began to walk out, careful to be quiet as to not attract anymore attention. These ponies had enough on their minds just surviving at this point. The needn't worry what Lance was doing now with leaving. Besides, they had more than enough head to protect themselves.

Lance stopped at the slumbering Starry Night and looked down at her. He felt sorry for the young one, it looked like she was still young enough to be in school, just barely a full grown mare. He bent down and patted her shoulder gently, "Don't worry young one. You'll be able to study the stars again someday." He quietly backed away as to not wake her and continued for the door. He hoped that some-pony would watch over her, and keep her safe until she had a chance to adjust like everyone else. And he knew she was one of the few reasons he had remorse for what he was about to do.

Lance passed Fireball and smiled as he did so. She lay curled up, looking all the world like the meteor's she had saved them from previously. Silently, he was thankful to whomever watched over him that day when he came across her passed out and pulled her from the collapsing building. She was tough, but he thought that underneath her tough exterior she still needed something to comfort her on her weaker moments. He lay his survival blanket over her. To let her know I'm thankful he thought to himself, even though he knew it more that he wanted her to know he was watching over her, as he did when she blacked out. 

 

Lance made it to the door, and as he opened it, looked back once. These ponies all showed luck or a will to survive to make it this far, and for that he wished every one of them well. But this fight was just beginning for Lance. And it would be his alone, this is what his talent was, this was what made him a Dragoon. Lance doubted he would see these ponies again with where he was headed. But they needn't know or worry about that. He was a soldier, and he should have died himself before letting what happened to these poor folk happen. And with that final thought, Lance walked through the door into the deep black of the night.

@ every one With that he said goodbye to his old friend. wondering where he was going and why but that doesn't matter now.What does is the ponys who where with him now.The question is who is going to be leading us of course the group was going fine but I fear the worst has yet to come.We need some sort of leadership that's where it hit him he had to become the leader for the group he knows it's for the best he would had said fireball but she reckless sometimes and that's what we don't need.For the rest of the night didn't go to bed unfact he did the opposite of that he stay awake looking at frozen mints

map coming up with plans for what the group

should do next.

Frozen now just seating in the Town Hall all alone, she was not normally like this, she had had enough, she stepped outside and put a sign on the door saying, 'No people are in, but this is a safe house and you can come in.' Frozen looked back and shook her head.

 

Frozen was going to look for survivors she needed to see if any family or friends were still alive. Frozen was at full speed in the sky dodging meteors and rocks falling from the sky. Frozen at last made to apple acres, she was looking for her best friend, Applejack. The barn was on fire, there were a few bodies, but most of them were not the Apple family. Frozen looked in an Applebush there was Applebloom scared and tears rolling down her face. "APPLEBLOOM!" Applebloom looked up and smiled 

"Frozen help!" Frozen swooped down and put Applebloom on her back. "Are you okay, and wheres Applejack?" Frozen looked up at Applebloom and said "She is trapped in the barn!"  Frozen nodded and and swooped down to the barn, she kicked a part of the barn open.

 

Inside the barn was Applejack is was swishing away the fire. "Oh buck! Get this fire away from me!" Frozen looked at Aj and swooped down to her. Aj looked at Frozen. "Oh sugar cube get me out of here!" Frozen leaned down so Aj could get on. "Get on Aj" Aj jumped on. Even though it was heavy with the to ponies on she cared on because she loved them.

 

At last the 3 ponies made it to the town hall Applejack and Applebloom rested and Frozen turned the sign she wrote from before, and now from a long day Frozen slept too.
