Idea for FanFic; All I Ever Wanted. Need advice and help with plot

Might aswell start out with basic description;

 

Main characters; Mane 6 (Specifically Rainbow Dash), Celestia, some new characters, but not my OC, probably Scootaloo, but I'm not sure

 

DESCRIPTION

It is 10 years after Twilight became a princess. Shortly after, Equestria entered a time of peace and, relectuntantly, the friends went their seperate ways. Rainbow Dash, after completing a controlled Double Rainboom, finally got all she ever wanted; she became a Wonderbolt, and got to live in Cloudsdale as a celebrity and a hero.

 

Meanwhile, Twilight and Cadence are about to take the place of Celestia and Luna. But, Celestia has one last job for Twilight; gather the old elements of harmony and have them find 6 new ponies to take on the responsilities of being the Elements of Harmony. Rainbow Dash (reluctantly) agrees to join, but when the Elements are stolen, it's up to the Old and New Elements to find them and stop the most poweful villian yet.

 

But Rainbow Dash's loyalties are to Cloudsdale, who are in more trouble than ever and need their Wonderbolt even more...with he rloyalties split between her old life and all she ever wanted, the fate of Equestria may lie in the hooves of our fast-flying rainbow daredevil.

 

Okay, so here's what I need help on;

 

1. Generally plot review an drevision. Too generic? Toocomplicated?

2. Names and personalities of new elements. Feel free to submit your OC, you eill be credited. (Please tell me what element they are!)

3. Well, since I'm bad at creating characters, I need a villian. Probably darker (like Crysalis).

 

Also, if anyone would like to be my editor thoroughout this project, feel free to apply in comments or PM me.

One last thing; I need cover art. Should probably be Rainbow Dash's face split in two, one side with a Wonderbolt uniform and the other with her element necklace on. If you have a better idea or are up to a challenge, give me a rough sketch, and then , if chosen, PM me the final!

Yeah, give me about a week for an excrept, I'm on vacation and don't have a laptop, so if I try to write, I'll get a ton of typos

Wow, those are really good! However, I was planning for it to be the same elements, only a passing of the torch, in a way. Do, for example, Applejack finds a new pony to represent honesty, and Twilight finds a new element of magoc, and so on.

 

However, if that idea is shot down, I would gladdly use these, or maybe for another fanfic. Those are REALLY good, so I will keep them in mind for a later time!

I like this idea. And I'm thinking about sending my OC Nightfall in as the Element of Magic. It works, since he is an alicorn.

If not, then, I'm fine with it.

Just let me get it stright - there is last task of princess Celestia to Twilight to find new 6 ponies, who represent elements of harmony. Than they find that this elements is gone and ... probably going to find them somehow? And what about Dash'es loyalty?

 

Well, if i understand idea in a right way, than you probably need someone, who either know and want to rid of elements for some reason (or just hide and use them for smth) or someone who... i think about a Discord, but since he is reformed, what did you say about primal draconequus? kinda master of Discord hmm?

Okay, Th eThing is cool, so he'll probably end up as the villian.

 

And Light Diamond would work really well for the new element of loyalty, but I'll probably make her just a pegasus (if that's okay with you). I really don't want to have an alicorn be one of the new elements.

I think I have a veeery good idea for a villain, but I will need to type it up in my free time, so I'd have it done by...Saturday?...I'm not sure.

 

I'm also an okay artist and I could help editing.

 

(I know I already posted that I would help in the PM, but I just felt like postin' here...)

 

EDIT: Okay, maybe I won't get my villain done...at least not soon.
