So... what should I do, considering I'm on the waiting list at this present time...

 

I'm not particularly familiar with a waiting system; I've only ever roleplayed on the Fanfiction.net forums, never on a forum like this. There are some obvious differences that I'm seeing.

finally finished my character

 

 

Name – Seeker

 

Sex – male

 

Age – adult hood

 

Species - Griffin

 

Eye Color – icy blue

 

Coat Color 

Bird half – starts out white fades into black

Lion half – light caramel brown

 

Tail/markings color – Unlike many of his kind Seeker seems to have a tail that more resembles one of a ponies then an actual griffin’s, when on all fours the length of the white tail seems to stop right under his back ankle.

 

Physique - Seeker stands roughly an inch or two taller than a normal Griffin.  Do to the malnourishment of being born a slave he appears to be thinner then a normal Griffin though also appears faster and more agile in the air. In between Seekers wings their is a branding of a hoof  with  what seems to be an upside down pear of wings above it and the word "Slave" below the hoof. Don’t think just because Seeker appears to be nothing but feather and bones that he is not strong.

 

Origin/backstory - Born a slave, Seeker knows the pain that most slaves have been through and then some. Most believed being caught and turned into a slave is the worst fate the wasteland can do to anyone, though being born into slavery is truly a fate worst then death. even at the youngest of age the only thing that kept Seeker relatively sane most of the time would ironicly be one of the slaver's daughter. The daughter helped Seeker feed his mind, as he could only wait for his next scraps of food. though once the slaver father foundout  what his daughter had been doing with her help, he took to punishing his slave personally. From that point forward point Seeker had chosen to be mute most of the time fearing the nightmare turn reality of his terrible beatings and even a branding would come true once again. 

 

Though on the fateful night everything changed for Seeker, it was probably the most fearful night of his life as well. Like other slaves like him they were all forced into their pins before entering the new town, for another slave auction. Even though Seeker had no longer been up for sale(Thanks to the Slaver's daughter buying him off her own father) he was still a slave and one his master's father didn't like. Even looking back at it now, it had happen so fast the place of the slave auction had been attacked by masked ponies. Everything soon went into chaos as slavers started going after the mask ponies as well as slaves that tried to run away, but to his horrors the outside of the auction house had been rigged to  activate the slave collars to self detonate. At that moment his master's father had attacked him, without recaltion of what happen he found himself in what once was a old world hospital and next to him his master. She had explained to him that when her father attacked him, that he had gotten a few good hits on him during the chaos and had done a scary amount of damage to his eyes so they had been forced to operate to save his eyes. though Her next few words seemed to rock Seekers world, after all he never had been free before.

 

Other - before going to sleep Seeker rubs his neck still not believing that he is actually free, with the reminder of who he was on his back.

 

Equipment: Seeker has a duster outfit that seems to consist of a black undershirt and a pair of gray canvas pants underneath a long,brown leather overcoat with the sleeves that he can choose to roll up or keep down below his elbow, as well as a pair of leather gloves.

Weapon:  The Glock 86 plasma pistol, also known as the Plasma Defender

 

S.P.E.C.I.A.L

Strength - 7

Perception - 5 + 1 = 6 (eye implant)

Endurance - 6

Charisma - 4

Intelligence - 8

Agility – 6 +1 = 7 (Perk)

Luck - 4

 

The Two Perks i was thinking, would be Small Frame and Skilled

 

if i need to change anything just tell me and i would change it

ACCEPTED. Good to see everypony won't be trundling around in power armor, haha. In addition, your innocent nature (having not seen how crappy the Wasteland can be) endears other ponies and pony-friendly species to you, making them like you more. This mostly translates to conversation, bartering, etc. though you can be creative with it.

While I would like to take on as many people as would like to join, six players all making rolls on a forum-based setting is going to be a fair challenge. If anyone drops out or doesn't show (although I believe we have just about everyone now), I will PM you and let you know a spot has opened up.

 

EDIT: Seeing how @UnitP0N13 hasn't shown his face on the Forums in almost a week, you just might be on board. I'm not gonna hold everyone up for a person who may or may not stay on consistently. Start planning a character, eh?

In addition, your status as an ex-slave makes you a sort of idol to other ex-slaves and current slaves who have heard of your story; they will be much more willing to offer you any assistance that you ask for (within reason, of course). However, other slavers will be after you for revenge.

I can predict a possible rivalry between Guardian Angel and Alizarin, seeing as Al is a Steel Ranger fugitive/deserter, and Guardian is loyal to the Rangers.

 

And probably one with Raptor, since he has a thing against pony folk.

That goes beyond what I meant by team planning. This group will have some interesting relationships, to be sure. What I meant to say by team planning was the traditional "Who is the Tank, who is the Healer, etc" but adding relationships into the mix is even better, especially for a roleplay.

Aaah, I understand now. From my point of view I'd say that Guardian is the Tank, since he's it the full suit of power armor, and Silver is definately Healer, I am not sure what to label everyone else yet. Again, this is from my personal opinion.

Favorite Color is Purple. Also, Do you have any suggestions as to a starter loadout for Guardian Angel? I don't want to be OP but Steel Rangers usually have giant guns.

Perhaps miniguns? They may sound OP, but are fairly large weapons and require their barrels to spool for a few seconds before firing, and after their ammunition is spent they have to take a few seconds to reload, plus they fire a small caliber, but just ridiculously fast. Those are just the first guns that popped into my mind. If you want something that doesn't require the spooling time, but unfortunately still take a bit of time to reload there's always LMGs

Yeah I think Silver would probably qualify as the healer for this group. Although I did make sure she could deal her fair share of damage when needed.

If you just go a minigun, flamer, or something similar, you should be fine. Looking at your character profile, he already has a gatling laser and rifle. Some BoS in the Fallout games also had rippers and power fists, so if you want to go that route then you could instead of guns.

 

Also, ACCEPTED. In addition, Steel Rangers chapters that know you personally will be more willing to offer you help, and you get a Speech and Barter bonus when dealing with Steel Rangers. Of course, remember that many Wasteland groups don't like Steel Rangers that much.

Egads, I never got to leveling up. Hmm. I can either devise a list of perks, OR I will give everyone specialized perks upon leveling up based on their actions since their last level up (for instance, if you mediated a diplomatic meeting between Steel Rangers and AJ's Rangers, then you would get some perk that benefits Speech/Barter/Charisma). Which sounds better?

 

Okay, I think everyone has a profile, stats, and a GM-given perk. Let me double check some things, then I'll make another post when I create the RP thread.

 

Also, I want to say this now: Silverwisp initially wanted all of his RP'ers to be logged in at the same time to mimic tabletop sessions. However, as we are all spread out across time zones, this is highly unlikely. Therefore, everyone is going to need to be patient with each other, especially in combat and with rolls.

I'm writing a fic about Gaurdian Angel that takes place in the Mohoove wasteland underneath Las Pegasus. We could use that and have it be running at the same time as FoE. This gives us the ability to use factions created later in FoE like AJ's Rangers and the Grand Pegasus Enclave.

I haven't really gotten the first chappie up. My idea was to make it the New Vegas of FoE. There is however, the fact that Helios was used by Kkat and based in Tenpony.

As for timeline, I can go with whatever. In the FoE Story I have in my head (where the Unicorn and Pegasi mentioned in Alizarin's profile are from) which I have yet to write, part of it takes place at about the same time Calamity was originally cast out of the Enclave (so bout seven years prior the original FoE), but eventually ends up running partially parallel to FoE (hopefully). Alizarin's timeline is kinda ambiguous because of this, so any of them are fine with me.

I predict arguments to occur quite often in the future of this company

 

While Al is generally a stoic character, the prospect of standing trial against the Rangers, especially the Imperial Chapter, is not something he wants to experience, and will probably cause his voice to rise often.
