A Boeing 747 bound for Australia dissapears into a tropical storm over the Indian Ocean, the plane is never recovered and the occupants are assumed dead. In truth, the plane dissapeared into a 'portal storm', a rare phenomenon that creates a tear in the fabric of reality itself, allowing objects and beings to cross dimensions.

 

As the survivors pull themselves from the wreckage, they find themselves on the outskirts of the Everfree forest, near Ponyville. Although at first this might seem like a miracle beyond their wildest dreams, the cruel reality quickly rears it's ugly head.

 

The beautiful land of Equestria that the survivors find themselves in already plays host to an offshoot of humanity, who call themselves the 'Omnipresent Authority'. These humans hail from a different dimension, and although they look similar to Homo Sapiens, there are a few main differences: They have 3 fingers and a thumb, pale skin, enlarged pupils, and the most disturbing of all: an inability to feel emotion. Using their Steampunk-esque technology, mastery of cross-dimensional travel and their military might, they have enslaved the ponies of Equestria, disposing of the two Princesses and punishing all those who resist with a fate worse than death.

 

This places the new arrivals in an uncomfortable position. Will they overcome the understandable distrust that the locals will show towards them? Can they evade the Authority, who seek to destroy them at the closest possible opportunity? Will they aid in the upcoming revolution, that promises to wipe the oppressors from the face of the planet forever?

UNIQUE CHARACTERS AND TECHNOLOGY (open to suggestions):

This is a list of the Authority forces and other Roleplay specific characters that will be encountered during the Roleplay. Although most of their attributes are listed here, it's purposley vague to give you some creativity. Just remember, no overpowered characters please. For example, Applejack taking down a helicopter with a rock is a little OP:

 

- Authority Rifleman: The mainstay of Authority forces on Equestria. Armed with a powerful single shot 

rifle that must be reloaded after every shot.

- Authority Knight: An Authority soldier armed with a sword and shield.

-Authority Pyro: An Authority soldier armed with a flamethrower.

- Gatling gun: A powerful mounted weapon, capable of mowing down enemies.

- Beam Cannon: A powerful mounted weapon that slices through everything and anything with a beam 

of blue light.

- Authority Gunship: A steampunk helicopter armed with a Gatling gun, and capable of transporting 

plenty of soldiers.

- Ghost: A pony that has been wiped of all emotion and personality. Mainly used as a psychological 

weapon.

 

 

RULES OF THE RP (open to suggestions):

1- No Overpowered characters. (For example. taking on an entire army of soldiers single-handedly)

2-No Alicorns (This is not up for debate).

3- Good Grammar, please.

4- No God-modding.

5- No Mary Sues. It's boring.

6- When you post, please put the name of the character you are using and thier species at the top of your post.
 

 

If you are intrested in joining this Roleplay, please post a link to the character you would like to use and PM me a paragraph of roleplay so I can check that you have good enough grammar, and I'll let you know if you make it in or not. I'll PM everybody who's in when the Roleplay begins.

 

If you want, you can play as cannon characters, such as members of the Mane 6. Just post a bit of backstory showing what they have been doing prior to the events of the RP. Also, if you want use a human character (or even a pony) and do not have a backstory, just post it here. It would be nice if we could get an even number of Human and Equestrian characters.

 

Oh, and I should mention that this the first Roleplay that I have organised myself, so if you feel that I have left anything out, or any ugly kinks that I need to iron out, please let me know. Oh, and as the DM of this roleplay, I'll be taking control of both a character and Authority forces.

 

Player List:

Spess playing as Jason Trueman (Human) and the Omnipresent Authority. Even though I am techincally controlling the Authority, for the purposes of the RP you may use Authority soldiers and units in your posts, for example, attacking a base, ambushing a patrol, fighting a battle or freeing prisoners. The main thing I will be doing is coordinating the Authority as a whole and giving them a purpose.

Ahm, hi. I would like to join, although I haven't played RP before and I don't have an OC. I just ask a few things, if you don't mind.

First, I am Hungarian and I don't know if my English is good enough. By good grammar, do you mean using English correctly or using varied words?

Are the passengers bronies?

And considering that I am a newbie at RP, in case that my English is good enough, could I be a support character, like a wounded human? Not playing a big role, just participating.

1. No, the passengers are not bronies. The reason I said that is the Equestria is a peaceful, warless world filled with Magic and technicoloured ponies. It practically fits the defenition of paradise when compared with Earth.

 

2. Yeah sure, you can be a minor role if you want. Just post the name of your character and bit of backstory, and I'll take a look! And by good grammar, I mean using English correctly.

D'accord.

My OC would be a 27-year old Russian businessman, Nikolaj Scotov. He is white, bald, has green eyes and wears a black suit. He was heading to Australia because he got a quite profitable offer about diamonds. Nikolaj is not educated, however, his cognitive abilites are remarkable, unlike his communication skills. Yeah, and in the crash, his gorge got hit, therefore the only way he can communicate is through actions and writing.
