Well, I just finished the game, and I must say, for an extremely glitchy game, this was one of the best games I have played. Anyone else played it, or have one of those epic moments running from the beast?

 

I was walking and got hopelessly lost, and stumbled across the secondary Agent Z plant. As soon as a picked it up, my heart started beating and the monster came at me. I screamed like a little girl, ran as fast as I could. Finaly I made it just in time to a path, that I followed to a house. The monster left, I found a map in the house, and that night I beat the game.

 

I won't ruin the ending, although it wasn't really anything unexpected.

 

 

Anyone else have one of those moments running from "it"?

I'm just starting with this game after playing the overhyped "Slender: The Arrival" (which turned out to be not that good). It seems that this is an interesting game because of the survival elements and horror stuff.

 

Can you give me an advice (without spoiling something I should find out myself)?

The monster is faster than you. Do not run unless a house is close by, if you can, hide. The monster is attracted to fire, so if you can find sticks, throw them behind the monster and jump in a bush. As for movement, try your best not to fall, getting a fever is the most annoying thing ever. Crafting basic medicine isn't hard, but you can only hold one in your book at a time. 

 

Also, many people think the monster is always stalking you, slowly coming for you. The sad truth is, it's not. The monster works on a spawning system. When you are near a important plant you need to beat the game, the monster has a way higher chance of spawning. Also time of day/weather doesn't change anything about the monster. He has an equal chance of spawning in daylight than at night. You'll probably see him more during the day, because trust me, you will not go out at night unless you have a torch. You can't see anything.

 

Otherwise, there is not much too it expect one basic rule.

 

Don't know what to do/where to go? Get lost. Wander around aimlessly towards uncharted areas till you find something.
