writing Recollection

If I allow myself this one embrace, be it of true compassion or outward expression which has been desired, just what will come of it? What burdens will foretell disaster of awesome power and forgetfulness? What will lie in wait for my shadow to arc the distance I have yet to travel? All this to be that which shall never be sought after the moment I describe.

 

This moment, in this embrace… all for us and not alone, these feelings of a future day.
