searching Canterlot Elections

I'm designing a RP around running for mayor in Canterlot. Now we all know that Celestia is the high and mighty voice of the town, but that doesn't mean she can go without any help at all!

The prime amount of players would be Eight - four on each party.

Here's how the game operates: gold, unlike other games, is your experience in a certain area of prospecting for voters.

All players will start with a budget of 10,000 gold.

 

There are six areas in which you can dedicate gold.

• Appearance (The player's overall image)
• Economic Plans (How well versed in economics the player is)
• Speech (How well the player can relate with a certain group)
• International Relations (Concerning the player's relations with zebras, griffins and all other foreigners)
• Social Plans (How aware the player is of certain social issues)
• Back Door Deals (What the player get away with without the media being alerted)

You will earn more gold by convincing other ponies to side to vote for you. You can either lie, bend the truth or tell the truth in order to get them on your side. Your decision to lie or tell the truth will then effect how the media feels about you. A positive review will result in little suspicion while a negative one can attract more attention to your skeletons in the closet.

 

Each player must have an OC, an image of that OC (a written description will work if s/he does not have a drawn image), a motto (such as, "Yes, we can!"), and a political party. 
A backlog of good and bad deeds must also be created.

Well, I've decided to ressurect this and see if this RP will go for another round.

I'm really hoping this will take off since this commuity could come up with some amazingly creative stuff to make this all the more fun!
