[Miss Light Diamond 2,802]

Diamond followed everypony to Draco's manor. Before entering her horn glowed, the cigarette and the holder both disappeared in a flash as she stepped inside.

She followed Draco to the library and did her best to help find what he was looking for.
She listened to Draco speak and frowned slightly at his slight burst of anger. "Well...they seem like a cult to me." She said.

"Oh the alicorn with the pretty nice flank and a proper attitude spoke anyhow you do have a nice plot though," Draco said cheekily. "Anyway here's my thoughts The Seneschals are a cult that have been around for about 2,000 years. Buuut their leader is the Seneschal of life which is a deity like that of Celestia and Luna. He must reside in another dimension and for that we have to beat his 7 trusted generals," Draco explained then said "They also represent the seven deadly sins does any pony know what they are I do,"

Diamond rolled her eyes at Draco's comments about her "Nice Flank". "You're a cute pony Draco, but it will take a bit more than that. I am still flattered none the less." She said. She listened to everything else Draco had to say then spoke. "Pride, Envy, Gluttony, Lust, Wrath, Greed, Sloth." She recited.

Draco coughed slightly "Yes that is correct Diamond. You see they represent what the darker side of ponies are. For instance we have Dimitri here the kindest pony you'll ever meet well except his wife of course. But he has a sin of wrath in him. I have lust oh by the way Diamond and Delia if you ever need stress relief well I'm around. Look at that it's getting dark outside how about I show you to your room. I'll stay up and do more research," Draco said and only smiled slightly. He didn't have much self worth in him right now but.

"I'd never pass up a chance to get more insight on things that are unknown to me, so I think I'll be staying up late too," Acheron said as he looked towards the various stacks of books on the shelves.

"They are a cult it seems, but other than make ponies disappear, what do they do exactly?"

Acheron throught for a while before he resumed speaking. "I think a seneschal was a type of administrator back in the Middle Ages, in charge of arranging servants or even in justice... so what could these cultic ponies be doing?"

"I'm not that tired at the moment...what I would love would be a cup of tea. Any takers ?" She asked, looking at the ponies around the room. "Let me go boil up some water. Draco, would you be a dear and point me towards the kitchen." She said, looking out of the library then back at Draco.

"Yes, let's sit around and prepare and drink tea while an obscure cult runs around causing trouble. Perfect plan," Acheron mumbled as he levitated the tomes he had gathered while Draco was throwing things.

"Do you mind if I keep these for a while?", he asked Draco as he prepared to head deeper into the library. "Oh, and give me some pointers of what to look for of course, you know your books better than any of... most of them at least."

Diamond stared at him and walked up close, looking straight into his eyes. "You're a nice pony. But did I ever say we should just sit around and ignore what we should be doing ? No. I asked if you wanted tea, that doesn't mean you need to stop doing figuring out the stuff about the cult, all it means is that you will have a cup of tea as  you do so. I am going to take that answer as a No." She said, in a serious yet calm voice.

She turned around and walked out of the room in search for the kitchen.

Acheron huffed and shook his head before he went over to the library shelves. He might as well just search on his own now that he just gave off the image of a cynical jerk.

"Meh, nothing new in that aspect," he said to himself as he searched through a few shelves. He didn't want to be bothered at the moment, but after finding nothing in the shelves he was near, he sat down in a sofa off in a lonely corner.

"Well I'll try and draw a few theories from what I know of seneschals and the little information Draco gave..."

Acheron produced a scroll and pen and began to write.

"A seneschal is an administrator of servants as I said before. A royal steward of sorts. So, let's say that this cult is renamed to the

Administrators of Life. This cult serves a master as Draco said..."

Acheron stopped for a while to think.

"So.. are they looking to gather more servants for their master? To what end?"

Acheron had read of several figures who attempted to make slaves of those they thought lesser, but to capture the six bearers of the elements of harmony...

Dimitri snapped himself out of his self-induced trance. He was rather weary from worry and wasn't paying much attention. He heard somepony say Tea, and immediately started to speak.

 

"Not to seem like I'm not the kindest of the group, but I wouldn't mind getting to the bottom of our required duties. Though I do love getting knowledge from the unknown, I'd rather be certain that we can locate who we need to locate. I am anxious for action, and anxious to rescue. I'd also like to know who I can hurt for this."

Acheron didn't move from his corner, bit at the sound of unknown knowledge he remembered the many tomes he had picked up from Draco's throwing fit.

"I can't come up with anything better, so might as well," he said as he opened several of the tomes at once. Since he doubted he would have time to read all of these, he decided to cast a helpful little spell he had learned. Making sure the others were busy, he casted it and watch the green aura glow and split into five different beams. The tomes were enveloped in it, and it seemed as if their contents of words began to be siphoned towards Acheron's horn. Rinse, lather, repeat, he told himself as he put the tomes down and picked up a few more. Being done, he set them neatly on the table.

"Doesn't quite compwre to the other scrolls and books of magic and history I've read, but it was still good enough. Knowledge is knowledge, no mere thing to pass up."

He was a little woozy from absorbing the contents of the books, so he styaed there a little longer and shut his eyes,

"Is reading the only thing we can do to solve our problem? Is like we're a book club for Lenoy's sake! I enjoy reading like the next pony, but this time could be used better, couldn't it? Not to seem like the impatient foreigner, but I'm getting rather impatient."

 

Dimitri was itching with anxiousness. Normally he'd think of a great battle plan. Read several tomes, relax, try to understand the enemy, and see if he could work out a great strategy to solve the issue. His mind was clouded though. He just wanted a location and to immediately get going there.

 

"Do we have any idea where we can even go yet? I want to get going as soon as possible."

Draco looked up to Diamond "Down the hall to the right you'll find it there. Also the tea bags are in the upper cupboard," Draco looked down to the book again "Hmm wait wait no darn t," Draco said as he thought he had something. He sighed as he watched the ponies. "A clue a clue. WAIT I'VE GOT IT," Draco yelled out towards the end. "Our next clue is in the Everfree forest," Drao yawned slightly as he rolled his shoulders. "Yeah we need to go tomorrow . We'll wake up at dawn,"

Diamond kept trotting down the hall until she heard Draco's triumphant yell. She let out a sad sigh...she had really wanted a cup of tea, but she left it for now and made her way back to the library to hear Draco mention the Everfree Forest.

She decided against the tea for now and she quietly stood by the door.

"As I've said we'll sleep here then rest. So Diamond how about some tea hmm?" Draco asked as he walked towards his kitchen. "Any pony else want some tea?" Draco said as he held his head out of the kitchen door. He smiled at Diamond an motioned for her to come into the kitchen with him.

Diamond nodded and followed Draco into the kitchen. "I have several different kinds of tea in my bag if you're interested in taking a peek." Her horn glowed and several boxes of tea floated out of her saddlebag. "I believe that is Jasmine and sweet green Cactus." The tea floated over to the counter and landed next to the stove.

"Sleep? Sleep?!" Dimitri pondered to himself. "How can I rest now?" He knew he wouldn't be able to sleep at all.

 

He was rather annoyed at the notion of resting while friends are in danger. He took, yet again, another nip from his flask and grumbled to himself as he paced around the house.

 

"Would it be a good idea to scout the area tonight maybe? Maybe get some work done?"

Draco nodded as he started to boil water. "I think I've seen you around Canterlot. Yeah I think a model right?" Draco asked as he looked curiously at her. "So then tell me about yourself Diamond," Draco said as he looked into Diamonds eyes. His silver eyes held a glint of pain.

"Sleep? Sleep?!" Dimitri pondered to himself. "How can I rest now?" He knew he wouldn't be able to sleep at all.

Draco then looked out of the kitchen towards Dimitri "If we don't rest then our minds aren't sharp at all. If our minds aren't sharp our reflexes can be slow if they attack us. So trust me on this my friend. You've seen me tired from all nighters correct?" Draco asked Dimitri with a slight smile "Plus from what I've been able to glean the six won't be hurt at all. The six virtues," Draco said

"I guess you're right..." Dimitri said to Draco "..but I still feel wrong doing nothing,"

 

He knew he wouldn't be able to sleep. He agreed with his friend, but knew he couldn't get to sleep no matter what. "But..uh..maybe someone can still scout the area....maybe?" He asked yet again as he tried his best to relax.

"I can make something for all of us I haven't had dinner yet so yeah," Draco said as he began to make a large dinner for all the ponies. "it's almost ready my fellow ponies," Draco said and he smiled at Delia. He set out the meals for all the ponies "Here we are my friends homemade dinners. Hay steak with mashed potatoes with a side salad with bitalian dressing. I hope you guys and gals like it,"  Draco also put down afew cups of tea for them and a cup of coffee for him.

Acheron finally opened his eyes upon hearing Draco's exclamation. The Everfree Forest? Acheron shuddered slightly at the thought, remembering a certain trip from a few years back that hadn't been easy or peaceful.

"Damn place is like a labyrinth. Oh well, at least I'm not going in alone this time. However, I'm much more powerful than before, so I think that if I wanted to venture in alone I could do it singlehoofedly."

Acheron headed off down a hall, and to his dismay, the smell of tea began to make him want some. Sighing and gathering his wits, he stood near the entrance of the kitchen.

"I think I'll take some tea now now that we've gotten a... vague lead... or I could just make it myself if you've another kitchen here Draco."

Draco put down afew cups of tea for them and a cup of coffee for him. "Maybe not my aunt's recipe but Diamond's tea smells good," Draco said as he began to eat slowly. "Sorry I didn't know how you like your hay steak. So I went with medium well. So yeah eat my fellows. It's a home cooked meal so it would be kinda rude if you didn't eat," Draco said jokingly.

Diamond laughed. "I am not a model and I most certainly do not live in Canterlot...but that is still quite nice of you to think that of me. I live in Ponyville...I have a tea shop." She said, sitting down at the table and taking a sip of her tea.

She looked down at the meal then back up. "This looks delicious, Draco." She said, using her magic to cut up her hay steak. She took a small ladylike bite and smiled. "Yup. Delicious. But...don't you think maybe we should be trying to find out more about the trip while we eat ?"

Acheron figured he was right, so he reluctantly sat down to dine with the others. He figured it was a good chance to get to know the character of the other members better, so he began to eat and waited for a conversation to start up. Taking a sip of tea, he was surprised at how good it was.

"Hm, I regret not taking on this offer earlier," he told Diamond uneasily. He really wasn't used to dining with others, he almost always ate alone.
