"Beat Drop...Beat Drop...why does that ring a bell?" Max thought back on the last two days. This morning, when he was maing sandwiches. He overheard a mare mention him. Was he...? Better warn Star.

"Yeah...about that. I think I may have overheard a mare here mention hanging out with him. So...there may be a chance he is here. Don't quote me on that though, as this is all speculation. I probably shouldn't of said anything, but I didn't want you to...run into him."

(Lies I am setting this up for the most epic fight between to ponies controlled by the same person ever ) 

Max took her hoof into his own, looking her in the eyes.

"But if he is here, and we run into him, I have your back, injured or otherwise."

Star's eyes widened and she stared up at Max for a good minute before speaking. "W-What ? He's...Here ?" She looked away from Max and stared at the wall...this was bad...really bad...she had planned on never seeing Beat ever again...EVER. She gulped. "I...oh sweet Celestia." She put her head in her hooves and stared down at the blankets.

Max was quick to react. He pulled her into a warm hug, using his wings for extra grip.

"Hey now, its OK. I'm sure he is busy with other matters. Like that mare. We probably wont see even see him this entire vacation. And we do, let me handle it. I can be quite the diplomat." He said soothingly, stroking her mane as he talked. All he wanted to do now was make her happy, and if that meant confronting somepony, then so be it.

"What kind of coltfriend would I be if I didn't defend your honor?" He asked with a smirk.

Lorcan's heart skipped a beat as he felt Solara's hoof on his chest. "Uh...thank you." He nervously said.

What is she doing? could it be that she genuinely likes me? No, she must be really comfortable thats all. He thought as he took a short puff from his cigar.

"So, what do you plan on doing after this little soak in the jacuzzi?"

 

 

She sighed, but didn't move.

"I don't know... I might need to take a nap. I'm feeling tired. The only problem is that the bed feels a little cold. I'd like for it to warmer... That is, if you're available and don't have any obligations..."

"You just asked him to sleep in the same bed as you... didn't you?"

"I don't know... I might need to take a nap. I'm feeling tired. The only problem is that the bed feels a little cold. I'd like for it to warmer... That is, if you're available and don't have any obligations..."

Lorcan itched his scar as he began to speak, " Your beds cold? Thats not good. I can fix that by putting some more sheets on it." He said. "Unless you have another idea,as to how i can help."

After a while, Star opened her eyes and yawned. She sat up and glanced around the room. She had just had the most wonderful dream about her and Max...a little strange...but still wonderful.

She smiled and lay back down, happy to be next to Max...even if he was still asleep.

"That... Sounds just right with me.", Accent simply said, looking over at the water. "Well, uh... I just ate those crescents earlier... I'm not exactly hungry, but I would definitely love to swim right about now. I mean... If you're hungry or something... I can wait. Your choice."

Max was quick to react. He pulled her into a warm hug, using his wings for extra grip.

"Why don't we go down to the beach? Another swim sounds good." Max WAS interested in swimming, but he also wanted to take Stars mind off of this Beat Drop. This vacation almost went down the tube with the whole waterfall fiasco, so he didn't want it to take anymore sour turns.

Wow... Beat's in a way more happier mood. He's more upbeat than what he was before the recording. In fact... He's even kinda cute.

Yeah, but... I kinda like them... Well, not as often as he did them, but, I still liked them... Am I falling for him?

She smiled as she looked towards the doorway, making sure when he got into the bed, he'd have to get close to her.

Solara looked up and chuckled. She unlocked her room, then went in, leaving the door wide open. She didn't bother changing; she dried off and climbed into the bed, leaving enough room for Lorcan. She smiled as she looked towards the doorway, making sure when he got into the bed, he'd have to get close to her.

Lorcan walked into Solara's room. He tossed the towel on the floor and proceeded to roll around on it. This will undoubtedly, make me drier. He thought .

Beat took off his vest and dropped his towel on the beach before running as fast as he could into the water. "WOOOOOOOOOOBwah." His cheer was ended as he ran into a large wave, getting knocked over almost instantly.

His head popped up moments later and he laughed. "Come on in Accent...the water's great." He called.

Max nodded, getting up out of bed. He took Stars hoof into his own, leading her to the balcony before flying up and down to the beach. It wasn't until he got to the shoreline where the water began that he noticed that a stallion was already swimming in the bay. Max looked to the left and saw he was standing next to the mare from before.

"You and your companion don't mind a little company do you?" Max mentally facehoofed at his inconsiderate approach.

"Sorry, where are my manners? My name is Max, and this is my marefriend Star Song." Max said, gesturing to the blue Pegasus next to him.

Accent couldn't help but emit a giggle once she saw Beat nearly get wiped out by a wave, setting her towel down onto the sand. She slowly trotted into the water, not before being interrupted by a stallion and a.. Wait... No, it couldn't....

 

"STAR SONG!", Accent cried out, and ran out to give her a big hug. "I'm glad I got to see you again! It's been way too long!"

His eyes widened and he shrunk down into the water so he was breathing from his nose. *Oh dear.*

"Why don't I let you two play catch up while I go introduce myself to the colt already swimming?" Max asked, again rhetorically. He flew out to the colt, landing in the water next to him.

"Hi there. Don't think we have been introduced. My name is Max. The mare being hugged by Accent is my marefriend Star Song. And you would be...?" He found it odd that he was almost submerged, eyes wild and panicked, focused on Star. Wait a minute...

"I think I overheard a mare talking about hanging out with Beat...Beat...Beat..."

The green colt's eyes widened. He spoke calmly, but inside he was greatly worried. 

"Say, your name isn't Beat Drop is it?"

Wow, I dont know why but i feel calm and relaxed. I almost forgot i had a bad dream and didnt get much rest. He thought

"Yeah, I did say Beat Drop... Why? Do you know him by any chance?", she said, looking out to the two in the water. Beat seemed to be pretty scared... How in the world do they possibly know each other?
