(Good. I kind of been using this RP as a learning experience)

Max returned to control, but instead of the dragon form receding, it lingered in his mind. Looks like Max has developed a split personality of sorts. Max wrapped his forelegs around Star and kissed back passionately, eyes closed. His eyes were red and puffy, and his face was covered in streaks, but this made it all better. He knew this would work out. Which gave him more confidence in what he was about to do. He broke the kiss. Looked directly at Star and began.

"That earring. You know its meaning. I had Lorcan order it while he was out. It is of the highest quality. And it is my way of telling you that I want to be with you for the rest of my life." He was nervous. Was he actually doing this? He was, and he held no doubt about the outcome. He glanced over at it, the fire ruby cross and pearl staring right back. He looked back up at Star, and began steeling himself for what he was about to ask.

"You can do this. It is your destiny in life to do so." Came a familiar voice in his head. Max looked into her eyes and asked the ultimate question. One that would change his life forever.

"Star Song, will...will you marry me?" He finally asked in a low voice. Hos stomach was filled with butterflies, and he was sweating slightly. He was nervous. Very nervous. More than he has ever been. But he never broke eye contact. Even when a fiery blush took his face.

Star's eyes widened. "I...Max, I have known you for two days. And these past two days have been the strangest and most hectic two days of my life. And you have stuck by me the whole time...even if you were doubtful of yourself. Yes. Of course I will marry you." She said, tackling him in a hug.

(OK. I will get my new OC's character page up soon. I also made a mare OC while I was at it.)

Max found himself on the ground, tackled into a crushing embrace. He hugged back with as much vigor. as he was equally happy. It was official. He was engaged. He never thought he would make a good friend coming here, and here he was, engaged to the greatest pony/dragon who ever lived. Eventually he had to free himself from the embrace for the sake of his lungs and ribs. But he got to his hooves, and beamed with more happiness than you can wave a pixie stick at.

"So, what shall we do now, my love?" He asked in a sweet tone. He could feel happiness emanating from the dragon in his mind, which only boosted his own.

Star smiled. "I'm content to ju-" Suddenly a pained expression washed across her face and she ran to the bathroom...throwing up in the toilet moments later.

After a few seconds she leaned back against the wall and muttered something that sounded like a swear as she wiped away the vomit left on her mouth.

(I think I just realized where this is going. Good thing I just proposed.)

Max rushed to her side, panic setting in.

"Star, what's wrong?!" He began to wipe off the vomit with a rag. This was more than just cravings. Cramps, vomiting, meat cravings, what did this mean? He thought frantically, and one possibility crossed his mind that ceased all other thought.

"Oh......Crap." He thought to himself.

Star shook her head. "I...I don't know." She said, attempting to push herself back up to her feet. "I...I think I n-need a nap." She said, standing up all the way.

With both claws on her aching gut she walked back into the other room and fell onto the bed, not bothering to get under the blankets.

Max trotted over, helping her under the blankets. He crawled in beside her, giving her a warm hug, nuzzling the back of her neck.

"Whatever it is, I will find a way to solve it. You wont suffer under my wing. You have my word." Max regained control and continued hugging. He had his suspicions but hoped they were false. He didn't think he would be able to...pushing the thought aside, he tried lulling her to sleep, hoping to ease the pain.

Star nodded and tried to take deep breath's as Max climbed into the bed next to her.
The pain in her abdomen was still there but it had subsided ever so slightly as her eyelids drooped. "I love you Max." She muttered, as her eyes closed all the way and she fell into a deep sleep.

Max himself was dosing off, and he muttered before he slept

"I love you too Star." He fell into a peaceful sleep, still hugging Star.

 

Max was sitting in his living room, back in Ponyville. Across from him is the 7 foot tall beast of a dragon that Max once was.

"I feel as though we must talk about what is happening to Star, Max." It said in that deep gravelly voice.

"So you are sentient? Alive?"

"Yes, but not in the way you know it. I am still a part of you. But I have developed a mind of my own. No need to worry, I am no longer the beast you saw this morning."

"So what's this about Star?"

"You and I both know what is happening to her. It is too late to stop it." Deep down, Max was aware what her cramps and vomit meant, but he didn't want to accept it.

"Your going to HAVE to accept it. Less you abandon both out of your own fear."

"But how am I suppose to pull this off? I don't know if I can handle that kind of responsibility."

"You have plenty of time to learn. And don't worry about the outcome of it. The form it will take will revert to pony along with you. Or so I believe."

"What do you mean?"

"Such a thing has not happened before. I am not sure what could happen. Maybe she stays a dragon until the time comes, maybe she doesn't. Maybe it happened before me. I can not say for certain. Only time will tell."

"If I couldn't handle this normally, how would I manage this in dragon form? A dragon is in his teens at the age most ponies die."

"You will find a way. I will be hear to help you every step of the way." And that is when everything went white, and all that could be heard was a high pitch cry.

 

Max jerked awake. Looking out the window, he saw it to be morning. He was still wrapped around Star, an uncomfortable look on her face. He lied there, sorting through his dream, trying to come to terms with what is happening.

Star...was having her own dream.

 

 

She was back to her normal pony form standing in the middle of the island...alone.
She tried calling out for max but no words escaped her mouth.

She slowly began to walk back to the house...the closer she got, the more eerie things became.
It kept going like this until she was standing at the door which was broken, smashed to pieces. The windows were all broken and the furniture inside was the same.

 

She wanted to run...to get away but she was being pushed up the stairs. She stopped at the door to Max's room. The door slowly opened, revealing the room...which was also torn to shreds. But that wasn't the only abnormal thing. There was something laying under the covers on the bed...something big.
Star found herself slowly pull the covers of to find a dragon...one she had not seen before...but one that looked oddly familiar. She heard it growl as it rolled over...but the growl turned into a small voice."Mom ?" As the beast rolled over its form changed to...that of a foal.

 

 

Star's eyes widened then...she awoke with a start, sitting up and panting as she stared at the wall opposite to her.

Max was startled when Star shot awake. She was panting and looked scared.

"Dreams got you too?" He asked neutrally. He decided to take a leap of faith to prove a guess.

"Was it about dragons and...foals?" He asked solemnly. He hoped he wasn't the only one worried about this, but risked looking like a jerk.

Star took a deep breath and nodded. "Y-Yes. Max ? What if...wh-what if I'm...what-" She couldn't bring herself to finish those words. She tore her eyes away from the wall to look at Max, giving him a very panicked look. "Wh-What's happening to me, Max ?" She asked, slowly laying back.

Max tried to remain calm, although he too was panicking.

"If that is what is happening, if you are...you know, then...will it be a dragon? I was told by the dragon me...let's call him Kor for now-" Max was interrupted briefly.

"Kor? I like it. Very well, I shall be known as Kor from now on."

"Thank you Kor." Max said in a annoyed voice.

"Anyway, he said that it might turn into a pony when we do. Or maybe not, Or maybe is already is a pony. Maybe it happened before we drank the potion. I don't know, but whatever the case may be, lets get you a...oh what are those called, a silograph? A sonargraph? That. Lets get you that." He said.

"I believe a unicorn should be able to provide assistance in this matter."

 "That's going to get some getting used to..." Max mumbled to himself.

Star shook her head as her breathing started to quicken. "No. No. Max, I'm not *breath* Max I'm not pregnant *Breath* It can't *Breath* this can't *Breath* What about *Breath* Mum and Dad *Breath* what if *breath I don't *Breath* Change back." It got to the point where she was unable to speak. She tried to calm herself down but wasn't doing that good of a job.

Max dug through is pack, and found a paper bag containing a sandwich he forgot he had. He dumped out the sandwich and put the bag to Stars mouth.

"Breathe Star, just breathe. Relax, its OK." He cooed, trying to calm her down. He thought for a moment on the possibilities.

"She could possibly remain a dragon. It is just one of many different outcomes. We still don't know for fact." Max shuttered at the thought. Not that it ruined anything about their relationship, it just complicated it. 

"Look, I will find a way to change you back. No matter the cost, I will do it. Please love, try to relax." He continued to whisper to her.

Star took the bag and tried to take deep slow breath's.

After a moment she took the bag away from her mouth and took a deep breath. "Okay...this is happening." She said, closing her eyes and taking another deep breath. And that's when it really hit her...she was pregnant. She stared at the wall before speaking. "I'm...we're...going to be p-parents." She said.

 

 

((Hokai...so I feel like they should be twins...because I will totally be making another OC and if you want too as well then...this is a good chance. Should they/he/she be half dragon half pony...or should we say that she/he/they will change back when both Star and Max change back fully ?))

(Well, as you are no doubt aware I have made two new OCs. So got that covered. I am all for twins. Maybe not identical, like have one colt and one mare, but have them be born more or less the same time. As for the species...I am leaning more towards them being just normal ponies when Star and Max turn, but maybe have them be born with slit eyes or something as a visual reminder of the conception. As my idea anyway.)

Max looked at her with a caring look in his face.

"Yes. We are. I don't know if I can be a good dad, but I am going to try my hardest. The child deserves that much." Max said, his eyes turning into slits.

"I agree. The child will be cared for to the best of our abilities. It shall live the best life we can provide."

"Thank you Kor." Max mumbled.

Star sighed. "Kor if you would keep in mind that Max and I will be raising this foal. I'm sure you're nice but I do not want a dragon raising-" She stopped speaking and glanced down at her claws before she climbed out of the bed. "I need some water or something." She said, walking over to the door. She pulled it open and walked down the hall towards the stairs leading down to the kitchen.

Max was worried about Star, and this entire situation, but he couldn't help but chuckle at what she said.

"Yeah Kor, she don't want no dragon touching her baby." He laughed out. His laughter was cut of by the dragon persona.

"Keep in mind that you are still partly dragon yourself." He dead panned.

"Yeah, the difference is she loves me, and I did GIVE her those kids. She has the earring to prove it."

"You mean the child you conceived in my form?"

 ".....Touché." He finished chuckling and headed after Star. He had to make sure she didn't eat meat.

(Very well. That is the plan.)

Star walked out onto the deck and sat down facing the water. She sighed and looked up at the setting sun.
Looking at it brought back memories of her childhood...and a lullaby her mother used to sing. Whenever she got talking about home in prance she would hum the tune...star remembered several nights being out on the deck of her house...as the sun set her mother would hold her and sing.

She giggled and rolled her eyes slightly.

"Of course, my dear Lorcan. I'll marry you, and then be your wife forever and always."

She giggled again, and presented her horn so that he could put the ring on.

"Solara... you just met this guy... and you're getting married... is it because you think he's different?"

Lorcan slowly put the horn ring on Solara's horn. After he kissed her right on the lips.

"It fits like a glove...you look so beautiful right now...of course you'll always be beautiful to me." Lorcan said as a thought popped in his head.

We are now husband and wife! I thought this would never happen! 

"I am going to do right by you....treat you like the queen you are no matter what." Lorcan was getting excited. He was about to burst with joy. something that he hasnt done in a while.

Max managed to get down just in time for Star to begin singing. He hung back, leaning on the doorway out of the home. He made sure his presence was not known and simply listened and enjoyed her singing. When she finished, he silently approached and sat next to her. His eyes once again formed slits.

"If I may, we observed your singing, and I know a song from my people that I would like to share on our behalf." Kor said calmly. Even though Kor was not Max, not really, he was a part of him, and as such, felt a connection to Star. Maybe not a romantic one, but a connection all the same. He knew this song by the genes he carried. It was almost built into dragons. It is usually sung by females, but he was sung by males from time to time. He began

. Kor-or Max, depending on how you look at it-closed his eyes as he sang.

(It is in a female voice, but just go with it. Lets just say it is sung in Kor's voice.)

Star ended her song and wasn't surprised to hear the voice of Max..er...Kor. She looked out at the sunset as Kor began to sing.

When he finished Star spoke but kept her eyes on the horizon. "Its funny...part of me feels like I have heard that before." She said, looking down at the ground before she grimaced slightly. "The pain is back again."

"Your body isn't use to a child occupying it. Pain will likely be present for a while, but will dull in time." Kor, looking through the eyes of Max, gazed at the sunset. He decided to bring something up.

"I am unsure of what will become of me when you and Max are turned back completely. I could fade from existence. Or be buried in his subconscious forever. These are worst case scenarios. What I am trying to say is that, no matter what happens to me, know that a part of me will always exist in Max. And you child. And as long as I am still around in any form, I will not let harm come to any of you. I swear this on my dragon code of honor." He finished, and returned his gaze to the sunset. He didn't have control when he had a physical form, and when he changed back, he was nothing more than the remnants of a monster. But the love that fueled Max's transformation, slowly gave Kor life. Awareness. And while he feared the possibility of losing it, he knew it was for the best.

You're...you have a good spirit." She said, smiling at him before speaking again. "Now if you wouldn't mind letting me have my fiance back...that would be nice." She said, looking back out at the horizon, watching the last bit of sun disappear. There was a tiny green flash where the sun went down.
