For example, if someone was searching for a specific kind of Role Play, instead of making it wishful thinking by posting it and hoping someone joins, they could rally their players first. ... Page.Turner 940 February 6, 2012 Author Share February 6, 2012 I just think it'd be more organized and more user friendly/would take less time to have to search through RP's that have already started/are dead than it would to rally gamers for yours in one thread and start it in another. I mean... isn't the point of feedback to put ideas out there to be considered? This is more than just a RP website, yes, but the RP aspect could be a little more defined in my opinion. But the thing is- A LOT of ponies on the site see our roleplays as less than worthy of even post counter. That's just the way it is. We are extremely receptive to feedback and we haven't had too many people tell us that they want MLP Forums's position regarding roleplays to be improved. When you speak up, we listen - you haven't been very vocal to us about this at all, Rose, prior to that "I have barked up that tree for a while" comment. As a matter of fact, the moderators and I have been discussing some MAJOR changes to the treatment of RP's here over since last week, and I've drawn up some solid plans for change. The only issue is, we will need one or two extremely dedicated, avid roleplayers to work with to make these changes happen as neither Swoop, Zoop, or I have a personal interest in it. I've been roleplaying for several years now, and have a lot of experience... but I haven't joined the RPs because they've seemed so... poorly organized and not really taken seriously. Personally, I think Finest should have the position since he's been at this site longer and manages the Adventure section already. Although if you're looking for any other ponies... I have been a role player for countless years now; my experience cannot seriously be looked at within the first few years of my dipping into it since back then my posts were basically akin to something a ten year old would write along with the ever beloved aid of asterisks to explain movement rather than paragraphs. But, like everyone else I grew up XD and though the difference in my writing can either be lax or serious, I feel my qualifications would be just if I applied for said position... even though I am also very new to the forum itself.
