Twilight's presently in the stairwell with Stephen and Cicada.

 

I don't know what @00Pony's doing, so I'm just winging it and saying they're pinned by one of his agents…

 

Lastly, Stephen's not too happy with Cicada, as she essentially threw Twilight out into potential gunfire, and yelled at her before giving her the cold shoulder. He did chastise the Princess a bit, but he holds most of his ire toward Cicada.

 

I sent ya a PM with the last three posts as Stephen and Cicada…

 

BTW, didja see my supermassive post on the last page?

 

Hypothetically speaking, how do think Princess Celestia would think / react if she saw it?

Right, so, if someone could fill me in on what all I need to respond to, I would be incredibly thankful. Like, if I was close to you in any physical vicinity, I would give you a hug with you desired ferocity - meaning Pinkie-Pie-so-hard-your-back-cracks hug, or just a gentle, Fluttershy hug. I may or may not be rambling, but I think I am. Anyway, yeah, that'd be swell.

Luna would probably react with a mix of confusion, curiosity, and sorta just a 'wat' - at least that's how I interpret it happening, in my current state of mind.

Also, just cause I can say it, I've obviously chosen for Angie to be a Pegasus. I'm torn between three options for Pony!Logan - whenever that happens - those being 1). Unicorn - Reason being: so he can still utilize his gun if necessary, and still have a sense of using things with his hands like he used to. 2). Earth - Reason being: They're naturally better farmers/more in tune with agriculture, and Logan grew up in a place that has some of the best farmland in America. Plus, they're usually harder workers and such, and that's kinda part of Logan's creed. Or 3). Crystal - Reason being: Crystals are a lot like Earth ponies, and they're just awesome. (Of course, there are Crystal Unicorns and Crystal Pegasi, but hey)

Okay, here goes…

 

Stephen, Cicada, and Twilight are in a stairwell, as Stephen wanted to get away from the shooters.

 

I have since winged it and had them (supposedly) pinned by a sniper, as I don't really know where your characters are…

 

Stephen yelled at Cicada, and now not going to speak to her for throwing the Princess into danger like that.

 

Cicada since then contacted the queen, who since lent some of her power to both Cicada and Diliges...

 

Speaking of whom, where is he??

I'm kinda hoping that my characters aren't gonna be the only ones that remain human throughout the sequel, as I'm thinking/hoping the humans that stayed human will attract more attention than the ones who go Pony, as they'll look and and like nothing like anything before seen in Equestria, as well as possess and utilize technology that far exceeds that of the Ponies…

 

I have entertained the notion that even the non-ponified humans are affected in some way of living in Equestria--most notably earning their Cutie Marks, but I was also entertaining the idea of having them display a few traits of what pony they could've been.

 

For example, Stephen and Colettee could show unusual anount of strength and endurance, as I see both as potential Earth Ponies, sbd Cat could show some ability in magic wielding, as she'll eventually become a Unicorn…

 

As for the Crystal Pony aspect… I gotta think of something without making a horrible, horrible Twilight reference!

I wasn't saying that in the sense that Logan will instantly turn Pony like Angie. I was saying that in the sense that when he turns Pony, because if he ends up living in Equestria like I plan, he's not going to stay human to live there.

 

As for a Crystal aspect, something I always incorporate into a Crystal character is that their skin is harder to break, they have a natural resistance to magic, and they are very empathetic. They don't feed on emotions like Changelings, but that can still easily sense them and different types of emotions have differing effects on them (for instance, positive, harmonious emotions heightens their magical resistance, makes them happier and shine brighter, whereas negative and disharmonious emotions have the opposite effects - weakens their magical resistance, turns them bitter and they lose their luster). How that might translate to a human-that-is-a-potential-Crystal, I don't know.

Your headcannon elicited a much needed guffaw from me, Dawn! Real life LOL FTW!

 

But yes, awesome idea 00! We gotta incorporate that into Logan, even when he's still human!

 

…But yeah, it looks like Colette and Stephen are gonna be the only ones who'd want to stay human.

 

I know I've been pushing her a lot, but I'm gonna do it again:

 

Colette's gonna want to make up for some serious lost time and not only sing, but do some serious shredding on her guitars, and play on her keyboard once she's in Equestria, and won't be able to do any of that at all as a Pony. In other words, whilst the others gain abilities as Ponies, Colette only stands to lose hers.

 

My little headconnon would cime into play here: while I have seen Ponies play instruments in the show, I'd imagine them being unable to play any complex numbers like Colette, or any human would be able to, which will give her quite the leg up when it comes to playing instruments.

 

While she does have a good singing voice, there'll be plenty of Ponies who can outsing her… which will probably make Colette recruit them for her videos!

 

She'll still possess Earth Pony traits like increased endurance and strength, which will make her sound like a Mary Sue, now that I think about it… :( This idea is gonna need some serious work!

 

…As for Stephen, I need to give the poor guy something to do, since he's the only one of my characters not romantically attached, and quite frankly, isn't necessarily looking.

 

I'll just have him have his fun travelling around Equestria, do some camping, hiking and rock climbing, location permitting. After that, he'll say he genuinely had fun, and want to head to Scotland!

 

…And after an intense bout with boredom at work, I've started to entertain the idea of having him possess Changeling/Flutterpony traits--something he will NOT be happy with, an will make him wanna go home that much more!

 

But with that being said, anyone who has any ideas that'll to throw a wrench in his plans, lemme know!

Colette ought to talk to Octavia. XD After all, she's not only a pony but also an earth pony who manages to play an instrument.

 

And Lyra Heartstrings as well, for obvious reasons.

If I remember correctly, Dawn's gonna play Lyra, so if I had to guess, Lyra'll introduce herself to ALL the humans! Dunno about Octavia, though…

 

On an unrelated note, 00 said he's gonna try and post tonight, so I'm gonna hold off on posting as the twins and AJ until tonight.

 

If he doesn't post, I'll have Stephen go for his car!

 

And on a similar note, where are Louise and Dennis? Colette, Fluttershy and Catherine have already made their way to one of the cells…

First up, we have Logan, a short reply from the Agents harassing Rescue Party Alpha, and a reply from the Agents watching Queenie. Their gassing the room doesn't have to affect the other's invulnerability instantly, just long enough for them to do some good damage. 

 

Next will have Diliges doing something against the Agents using his brief invulnerability, and Angie probably meeting up with the others inside. Just as soon as I know where the heck Diliges is.

 

I will say this here: While I am not opposed to their brief invulnerability right off, I will be opposed if it allows them to shrug off being shot. Just cause they're unable to penetrate their flesh, doesn't mean the bullet's kinetic energy wouldn't transfer. So it may not kill them, but it would certainly make them stumble from a pistol shot, or get knocked down from an AR or shotgun, or sent flying by a sniper rifle (not to mention sore once the invulnerability wears off). Because frankly, one of my biggest peeves with 'invulnerable' characters is when they can shrug off being shot, as if bullets were pieces of paper being thrown at them by children.

@@00Pony, Oh, it won't affect that. For example, if one of the characters had a stone chucked at them, it wouldn't just bounce off. They'd be affected by its passage; ie, be knocked back, stumble, or trip. The rock just wouldn't hurt them.

Isn't that essentially what I just said? The bullet may not kill them, but it would definitely have an effect, as in, getting knocked around and the like. Logically, they'd also get bones broken where they were shot, because even with bulletproof vests on, you can still get broken bones.
