@@Hypn0ticD, We ought to tie up the loose ends first; ie, get the rescue mission sorted, get everypony together, and have the RP end with everypony back in Equestria. Then we can start the next RP on a firm footing. We can keep Rainbow, Fluttershy and Twilight as NPC characters til then, and when the sequel's OOC goes up, begin casting.

That's the thing. We don't have anyone who can play Twilight, and she'll be crucial to the rescue. I don't think I can play either her, Dash or Fluttershy very well, so I think it's best that we start planning for a new RP…

I now understand why relationships are a problem in RPs. Sequel with those might make things difficult. I think i might have been a reason to promote this quitting subliminaly...

 

I don't know what to do... I had so many plans for Queen Chrysalis... Thats just sad.

I think its best that we start planning out a new RP, so as not to throw too many newcomers off…

 

I haven't really come up with any concrete ideas as of yet, other than Equestria somehow makes contact with Earth or vice versa, and the (former) Pony Finders are chosen through lottery to head to Equestria…

 

Yeah, so if any of you have ideas, I'm all ears!

 

Or, I can update the rules and do a reboot!

Indeed it does. Like I said to Pripyat, I think we need to start fleshing out ideas for a new RP, so newcomers won't be so overwhelmed. I haven't thought anything substantial, so any ideas are appreciated!

I had plans as well, but as I said before, replacing three crucial characters this late is gonna be insurmountable, so we ought to start something new.

 

And I don't have a clue as to how to get into contact with Dawn, nor do I think it'll help… he's taken a hiatus from Ponies, and we gotta respect that…

Maybe there's a new villain? I can offer my villain Avarice; one of her powers is the ability to create time bubbles. Maybe she adapts this and creates a door between Equestria and Earth. The problem is that the door threatens the stability of both worlds, so the Pony Finders are brought over to try and stop her? Note: She was defeated by the Elements, but they're back on the tree, right?

 

Also, is it going to be that the changelings are now Flutter ponies?

I remember! In fact, I have an idea that needs some serious fleshing out, but here goes:

 

Notice how Equestria has some technologies, but aren't quite as advanced as Humans?

 

I was thinking that we could still use the meteorite idea and have human planes and seacraft enter and crash across Equus. The Equestrians then reverse engineer what they can. This would explain why you see the technology in an otherwise predominantly magical world.

That could work! In fact, we can work the dimensional door idea with the meteorite idea! Maybe the door could be sealed, but Avarice opens it like Pandora's Box!

Also, that was the idea… Maybe we can still find a way to get them to revert them to Flutter Ponies?

 

We saw how well new player(s) taking up established roles worked! :/ It'd be easier for a newcomer to pick up a role that is "new", as opposed to having to potentially replace an established character.

 

That, and it'll fall to me to explain everything that's happened so far, and everyone here expecting another Dawn, only to have them to realize they're not up to snuff and leave over and over and over again… No one wins in that situation!

I was thinking we could go Doctor Who (S6E1) style where everyone gets an invitation to meet up somewhere. (This is where it deviates) Twilight has honed her magic enough to create another portal, (<- that part is negotiable, it could be some pony else who just wants to stir up trouble, to add to the plot) and she does so, then everyone jumps through and... the rest can be figured out later. That's what I got

Avarice could create the portal; maybe she escapes from the painting and finds out about Earth from overhearing the ponies talk about it. She'd want the technology and the power, so she creates the portal.

 

The ponies could find out about this via the changelings; see, Avarice was allied with the changelings before, so perhaps she asked them to allie with her again, and they refused, and decided to tell the ponies.

But anyway… Maybe the legend of the great and terrible creatures known as "Hu-manes", Avarice can escape and hear about the.as well, the Mane6 can find and corner Avarice, Avarice opens the door, and the Mane6 go aafter her, only to wind up separated. The Pony Finders (even get some new Finders,) then find the Ponies again, and we take things from there!

 

But how (and do we) get the other Princesses involved??

Celestia and Luna would know of Avarice, cuz they were the ones who defeated her when she first manifested, with the elements of harmony. Cadance might have seen the painting and asked Celestia about it. So, maybe the Princesses hear about Avarice's escape and the Mane Six are sent to try and stop her. Since opening the portal would create a huge magical fissure, the Princesses would sense it, go to the spot and realise what happened. They wouldn't go thru the portal themselves, but maybe they could send others in to help? Also, some ponies might get there before the Princesses arrive and go thru out of curiosity. Would explain why a pony like my character Diego ends up in the human world, as it's unlikely that he'd be trusted with such an important mission. XD

Your grammar makes it extremely hard to understand what you're saying in your posts, which I got a few complaints for.

 

Add to that, more often than not your characters did something that was overpowered, and I had to send you PMs to change it.

 

You won't be joining us in the reboot.

Since we don't have anyone to properly fill the roles of the ponies the way they were in this RP, we could always do a reboot in which the opposite situation happened. In it, our characters could have established relationships first, then get dragged into Equestria by somepony, Chrysalis or otherwise. It'd be a good starting point for new players instead of trying to continue a story they wouldn't know about
