"Thanks" Heather said and was reading her book when she herd Apple Doom. "O-oh! coming" Heather said grabbing her book "Aw darn lost my page" Heather said to herself walking over to the cart "We are leaving now? i thought we were waiting for others?" Heather said to Apple Doom

Flame flew down and landed just outside the Appleloosa train station, followed by a long trail of fire. He grinned up at the sky. It was hot and sunny...just how he liked it.
He trotted into the station to find a group of ponies already there. "Good afternoon everypony...I presume this is the crew for the trek across the plains ?" He asked.

"Ah, i see another stallion has joined us. This is the crew to go across the plains.My name is Apple Doom. What might yours be friend?" Apple Doom said as he stopped in his tracks to address the new arrival.

Apollo shook the sleep from his body. It seems I am late. What an annoyance. He thought as he prepared himself for the short trek to the meeting place. Why I'm doing this is beyond me. Apollo wasn't one for making grand entrances so he descended from the sky slowly and suppressed his magic approached the group. "I take it you're the leader. It seems you havent gone far so i assume you were waiting."He said as he examined the prints left by the cart.

Flame smiled and held out a hoof. "Flame Dancer, performer fire eater professional flyer extraordinar." He chuckled. "Its nice to meet you Apple Doom." He said, noticing another Stallion walking over. He just gave the Stallion a friendly smile but didn't speak.

Heather walked over to the cart and saw there were 2 new stallions. Heather wanted to try to be more social so decided to talk to one of them "H-hi i'm Heather" Heather said to the blue pony with yellow and red hair "Um...so i guess you're one of the travelers?" Heather said with a shy smile

Flame turned his attention away from Apple Doom...the colt probably wanted to talk to the other who had just arrived. He looked at the mare who had just approached them. "Good afternoon Miss Heather. My name is Flame Dancer. Its nice to meet you." He said, holding out a hoof to shake Heather's, giving her a warm smile.

'This pony seems nice' Heather thought to herself then replied "G-good afternoon Mister Flame" Heather giggled "I-its nice t-to meet you" Heather said smiling shyly again "Uhm...cool name." Heather said cause it was the only thing she could think of saying

 "I am known as Apollo. It's nice to meet you Apple Doom." He said examining the other members of the group. That stallion, that mare and the leader all have some sort of wound..how odd. He thought as he started to trot to the rest of the group.

Flame chuckled. "I'm flattered." He said, smiling and looking around at the rest of the group. "Funny...I thought there would be more ponies...guess I'm wrong. Is this it Apple Doom ?" He asked.

 

 

 

Ocean quietly trotted along behind the group, she glanced up at the colts that had just arrived but didn't say anything.

"Yes this is all there is." Apple Doom said as he continued to walk. "Hurry up every pony, I don't want any lollygagging around"

 

Apollo walked alongside the cart as he gazed into the horizon.Another hot day. Terrific. He thought. Apollo the eyed a mare and a stallion, examining them head to hoof.

Chetnik let go of the cart after feeling a slight pain.

 

"Ahh, this is about as far as I can go, I don't want any more damage done to this shoulder, I'll need it to fly damn it!"

 

He then looked at Apple Doom

 

"You really need a break unless you want trouble with that wound, don't say I didn't warn ya"

Flame nodded and kept walking alongside Apple Doom, smiling happily as the sun blazed down on them...most would think it was too hot, but Flame loved it.

 

 

 

Ocean kept walking at the back of the group.

Using her magic, she levitated a small pocket watch from her bag. She sighed and moved a little farther back from the group.
She levitated a small blue potion from her bag and drank half the bottle. She gave the potion a disgusted look before placing it back in her bag and running back up to the group.

Mainly throughout her ride in the cart, Freezing was not really being thrown around, but just shaken a little. She didn't mind this a whole lot, mainly because of the cold that came with this. 

 

Her breath was completely visible, nearing freezing up. If only it was cold enough, she could make a small ice sculpture with that.

Apple Doom looked at Chetnik with disgust. "Listen, I don't care if my wound opens up and my entrails pour out. I am never going to take it break!"He said as he exerted more force and pulled the cart faster.

Apollo looked at Apple Doom. He has a problem. probably a hard head wanting to die. How annoying. He thought. Apollo couldn't help but to notice the mare at the back of the group. "Is something wrong?" He asked her.

Ocean looked up then shook her head. "No no, its nothing. I'm fine." She said, trotting up a little closer to the group, not noticing the potion fall from her saddlebag.

 

Flame spread his wings...he was getting tired of walking. He flew up into the air and did a couple acrobatic tricks to give himself something to do.

Heather watched as Flame flew up into the sky and did some tricks 'wow..cool' Heather thought to herself then herd something drop. Heather looked at it, it was a bottle of something...Heather picked it up. it was by Ocean so maybe it was hers "Uh, is this yours? it dropped..." Heather said to Ocean

Ocean looked at Heather...then the potion in her hooves. Her eyes widened slightly and she quickly took the potion from Heather. "Yea that's mine." She said, quickly stuffing the potion into her saddlebag. "...thank's." She said, hoping Heather wouldn't question the potion.


Flame just kept flying around, leaving trails of fire as he went.

"A-are you alright?" Heather said wondering why she seemed so nervous the bottle 'i would ask her but i don't want to sound nosy' Heather sat down and looked back up at Flame flying "Wish i could fly...or do magic...or do anything.." Heather mumbled to herself and frowned

Ocean nodded. "Just fine." She said, glancing up at the flying colt.

She heard Heather mutter something about flying and magic and Ocean patted her on the back. "You know, Earth ponies have their own magic. You guys are naturally strong, fast, you're very tough. I wish I could be like that." She said, thinking about what knowing magic did to her...

Heather felt Ocean pat her back then herd her talk "T-thank you" Heather said smiling "You're really sweet, post ponies don't talk to me...but i guess that could also be cause i'm always off so the side..." Heather said a bit sad, wishing she wasn't so shy all the time

Chetnik felt a searing pain as Hunter touched the part of his coat near his shoulder that was slashed at by the changelings a year ago

 

"Ahh, don't touch that...I'd usually use my jacket to cover that up but it's way too hot"
