But she seemed more than a little hesitant to go with him. Not like she didn't have good reason to be wary of him or anything. Granted, she was a Pony, and Ponies were more open than humans, still! “Hey... How we go somewhere like a cafe and search for any other Ponies there?? I can run back home and grab my laptop then come back to your place to pick you up. How does that sound??”

Bowen nods, "It's no trouble." He turns, pulling out of the school's parking lot. He checked behind him briefly to see if the others were following before focusing on where he was headed.

 

In short order, he was turning into Colette's drive, parking slightly off to the side so as to allow the others space to park themselves. Shutting the escort off, Bowen took the keys from the ignition, popping the trunk as he got out.

Logan was grinning. Actually grinning. Which was something he didn't do very much. Yes, he smiled - often, as of late - but full out grins were a rarity (no pun intended) for him. Such things were usually reserved for his immediate family, who he rarely saw anymore. The presence of the Equestrians was causing some sort of change in the stoic man's psyche. He hadn't quite decided if it was for the better yet or not.

 

Logan looked at the three friends, who'd dropped here from another world. Really, this all started for him with Twilight. He and Rarity hadn't really had to much interaction at this point. Applejack had really pushed the change. Somehow. Logan glanced at Ulysses, who'd been shot into wakefulness by the sudden explosions of cheering, "Be lucky if I get my dog back tonight."

 

He thought, with amusement.

Colette stepped out of Bowen's escort, turning to the others as they pulled up. "Okay, guys, just wait here sir a sec, and I'll be back out with my cousin! I won't be but a minute!" With that, Colette headed for the front door. She'd invite them in, but like she said, she'd only need a minute…

 

Rainbow Dash already knew her alias. Colette could only hope she didn't mind too much that she had to play the part of a Pegasister!

 

Opening the door, Colette's eyes widened in surprise. What the--?!

"Name?" he asked curtly.

There was a dull, base-like thud emanating from somewhere else in the house.

Rarity hugged Charles as she heard that Jack had won. She smiled at Catherine. "That's wonderful!" she exclaimed, taking out her earplugs as she did so. She was glad the noise had stopped, as well.

Clare was enjoying this walk around the neighbourhood that she'd be living in for the next six months. She made a note of the various landmarks so that she'd find her way back. Glancing over at Diliges, she said, "Do you want to go back yet? You must be tired after all that's happened."

Ulysses had absolutely no idea what Applejack meant by 'he won'. All the dog knew was that she was excited about something, and his master was happy. Therefore, Ulysses was happy. When Applejack hugged him, he took the opportunity to place a few more kisses on her freckled cheeks, now he knew he was allowed.

 

Logan shrugged in response, replying to AJ and Charles, "I've not attended these races before, so I'm not entirely sure, but I have a feeling we'll be able go see Jack in the winner's circle. Not 100% on that though."

Diliges shrugs, "It's really up to you. I can keep going, if you wish to stay out longer, if you wish."

 

In truth, he was pretty tired. He hasn't thought about it until Clare mentioned it. He wasn't about to admit that however. Different dimension or not, he was still a captain!

Blaze sighed. "Hugs cannot take away the pain of everything. Hugs are just friendly gestures, sometimes to show sympathy. This world is do or die. In this world, it is better to make the last punch rather than the first. Bullies make themselves look cooler by beating people up. It's just how fucked up this world is... Jack began to perform his victory lap around the track, with his window net down and waving to the fans. As he completed the victory lap, he spun the car across the front straightaway, and did donuts, filling the front straightaway with smoke. Quite a show for all the cheering fans there. Jack then headed down pit road, where he hi-fived his pit crew as he turned down into Victory Lane, where he was greeted by his crew and friends.

"Been wanting to say this since the beginning of the season," Ray said to Jack as he got out, "You've dethroned Justin Allgaier from points leader! Keep it up and you'll be in championship form, bud!"

Ecstatic about the news, as well as his victory, he shook the champagne bottle, and spewed the contents all over victory lane.

Brilliant! "Is this where ya live?? Go on in, I'll be right back!" Shawn said, before racing back to his flat.

While he wasn't as much of a fitness buff like his twin, Shawn could book it if he wanted to! Within minutes, he was going through his front door, taking a moment to catch his breath. Once he did, he turned his attention to his twin and guest. "There's someone I have to meet up with-- go ahead and have dinner without… Well, nevermind, then!" Shawn said as he made his way to his room.

Within moments, Shawn was racing his way back to Fluttershy's flat, laptop bag on his back. After taking a moment to straighten himself out, he knocked on the door. "Caitlyn? I'm back!"

"AND JUST WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!" Colette shouted, her voice carrying to the street. Jumping at the sound of the thud, she raced into her own home, leaving the door wide open and dodging the strange man, racing from room to room, shouting for the crazy house-dominating Pegasus. "RAINBOW DASH~! WHERE ARE YOU??"

Ulysses barked once as he chased after Applejack, catching up to the rest of the group slightly after her. Making a beeline for Logan, the canine stands on his hind legs, planting his forepaws on his master's chest.

Logan, who had not fully been expecting the greeting, had a startled expression at first, but it changed when he noticed it was his dog. Scratching the thick fur of Ulysses' chest, Logan pushed him gently off and to the ground, still scratching the excited dog as he spoke to Jack, "Good job out there."

Rainbow Dash snickered when she heard Colette's steps coming through the front door. The sandy-haired boy crouched next to her, behind the couch, raised his eyebrows, but she made him wait until Colette really lost it to pop out from behind the couch.

The boy tapped the play button of the boombox on his shoulder.

Rainbow danced a couple steps before clapping Colette on the shoulders. "Don't worry, Cole. I already told Richie to waive your fee. You can go anywhere you want." She pointed at 'Richie' with the mullet and suit. "This is the chick who owns the house. Just let her alone."

After the music in the kitchen started to compete with her Dragonforce, Rainbow poked her head in the kitchen and demanded they turn it down, to which order was immediately complied.

 

She grinned, shook her head and turned back to Colette. "Cool, huh? Don't worry, I got everything under control." Her eyes rolled to one side, she pursed her lips and leaned. " 'Cept for that guy in your room. You deal with that. I'm not touching that."

Fluttershy opened the door, blinking with big blue eyes at the heavily breathing Shawn in a backpack. "I-i'm here..." she said. "Where did you want to go?"

Jack was quite glad to see all his friends celebrating with him in Victory Lane. He ran up to Catherine and planted a kiss right on her cheek.

"Thanks for cheerin' us on!" he said to everybody. Jack was quite caught up in the moment of his first NASCAR Nationwide Series victory, and worn out from the 200 lap event.

Diliges shrugs, "It's really up to you. I can keep going, if you wish to stay out longer, if you wish."

 

In truth, he was pretty tired. He hasn't thought about it until Clare mentioned it. He wasn't about to admit that however. Different dimension or not, he was still a captain!

Clare said, "I am a bit tired, from all the travelling. I think I'd like to head back to the house, now. I'll probably go to bed early, but first I have to check my messages on the laptop. I expect that most people who read my last blog think I'm all kinds of crazy but then again, I'm used to that!" She led Diliges back home.

 

As soon as she got home, she got out her laptop and went to her blog. "Yep, they mostly think I'm nuts, but these two don't!" Clare then typed out a message to the first person who'd replied.

Pinkie Pie seized with relief on the change of subject. She liked talking about Equestria, in any case. Pinkie told Blaze all about her childhood; how she had grown up on the rock farm, where everything was grey and dull and nopony smiled, til the day when she saw the fantastic rainbow cross the sky and it made her feel happy. She had smiled and smiled, and thrown a party to show how happy she was. Her family had joined in and from then on, the rock farm was a happy place to be.

 

"Then," Pinkie continued, "I left home and went to work at Sugarcube Corner with Mr and Mrs Cake. They are so good to me; I love working for them. I sometimes babysit the foals; they are crazy! But they're cute, too. And of course, I spend time with my best friends."

 

Pinkie looked a little sad. "I wish they were here, now," she said. "I miss all my best friends so much."

Colette looked around at the sight of the once blandly normal scene that wad once her living room "I'm gone for four hours, and you turn my house into a nightclub?!" She shouted. In short order, Colette was corralling all of the partygoers out of the door, sometimes literally dragging them out past the others. She then headed to her bedroom, letting out an enraged shriek as she opened the door. Within moments, she was dragging out a bedraggled and not-so-sober man, wrapped in bedsheets and practically threw him out.
After successfully getting everyone out, she turned to Richie, frowning and pointing at the door. She then turned to Rainbow Dash, forgetting the others were there for a moment. “You and I are going to have a nice long talk about what you can and can't do around here... After that, you're going to be cleaning this mess up.” Colette then took another look around her house before stepping out and heading back to Bowen's car, not saying another word until she got there. “Let's.... Let's just go. We're going to be late for the rally.”

Shawn looked up and smiled at Fluttershy as she opened the door, running a hand through his hair and adjusting his backpack as he did so. “It's a little cafe that's just around the corner. They have a lot of vegetarian dishes, so we can grab a bite there.” he suggested.

"The hell?!" before either he or Cicada could say anything, Shawn was back out the door. "Okay." Shawn said as he watched his brother leave the apartment. "What the hell was that??"

Johnny watched all of this, confused. He eventually walked out with the people at the party and muttered to himself, "Damn..." When he got back to the others he said. "Um...I don't know what's going on...um...what now?" He was usually very calm, cool, and collected, but this was just weird.
