"Fluttershy!" Rainbow hissed. She glanced back up at the stage, then, grimacing, back at Dennis. "Don't you get any ideas! We're just going to save her! You get money for plane tickets, then meet me at that street corner out where the taxi pool was. The one where you go out the front doors and turn left for a block. I'll meet you there. There's something I gotta' take care of too."

Rainbow squirmed out of her seat, squeezing her way past Bowen and other spectators. After she'd made her way out into the isle, she dashed towards the stage, and didn't stop until she'd found her way into the back, and the stairs that led up.

Rainbow ran onstage in the middle of the performance. "Uh...Cole!" Rainbow tossed the phone onto the drumset, eliciting a tss and an aggreived look from the drummer. "Sorry 'bout this, but I gotta' go get Fluttershy! Like right now! So--you did great! One hundred and twenty percent awesome! But I gotta' make hoofprints, so..."

She made the mistake of looking forward. The entire audience, whose attention was still directed at the stage, was now on her. Rainbow Dash's unfamiliar nerves were plunged into an ice bucket, and she had no feathers to warm her. "Eheheh..." Stuttering on her feet, Rainbow tried to edge back to the curtain, locked in the thousand stares.

Ahhhhh~ So that's how it is! "Hi!~ What seems to be the-urp!" Shawn glanced up to see none other than Fluttershy. "Ah, shit." He muttered before smiling as best he could. "Ay, miss! I've had one too many last night, and it seems I lost a brawl and had me nose broken!"

After being taken back to an exam room, and a series of grunts and groans from Shawn, there a was a moment of awkward silence. "You coulda just told me, ya know," Shawn said finally, "I asked Rainbow if you were seeing anyone, and now she's fixing to murder me. But I have an idea on how I can get you over to her, but I'll need you to agree, Fluttershy. Please say you'll do it?"

Colette immediately stopped playing, looking incredulously at Rainbow Dash. Has she lost her mind?? "Good show, Harry! It looks like you won!" Before anyone could say anything, Colette was dragging the stunlocked Pegasus off the stage, ready to chew her out. Yet again.

"Whaddya mean 'go get Fluttershy right now?!' Do you even know where she is?!" Colette was now pacing back and forth in front of Rainbow, who she had dragged into an empty classroom. Colette was VERY angry now. "I can't take my eye off you for one second, can I?? First, you drown my car, then you post my address on the fucking internet to throw a party, now you just wanna hop on a plane to God knows where?? You. Are. Out. Of. Control!" She said, poking her to further get the point across. "Tell me how your friends put up with you, because I'm at my wit's end! I'm done!" Colette then stormed to a desk, and took a seat. Before she knew it, she was dialing Logan's number, hoping to reach someone at the other end of the line, tears forming from sheer frustration…

It took a moment for the principal to recover from the sudden interruption, but he made his way to the center of the floor, clearing his throat. "Ahem! Well! That ended rather quickly! For our last act, we have our lovely and talented cheerleaders once again! Welcome them back with a round of applause!" The crowd did just that, whooping and cheering yet again for their Lady Eagles.

"I don't know..." Fluttershy wanted to see her friends again, certainly. But to get on one of those enormous chariots with a person she'd only seen once? And who'd..... "What exactly did you have in mind?"

When Logan's phone rang, so did Jack's, at nearly the same time.

"Excuse me for a second," he said, heading for the bathroom.

"Hello, Jack," the voice of Trent Harley, owner of an up-and-coming IndyCar team said, "Saw your race today, you really outdid yourself."

"Thanks."

"I hate to have to bother you, but that tire test, it had to be moved ahead a day because of the American LeMans Series races at Road America."

"So... it's... TOMORROW?!" Jack nearly shouted.

"Yep, tomorrow at 11 AM sharp!" he responded.

Shit, no, no no no no no no no no no, Jack thought in his head. He knew that if he wanted to race in the IZOD IndyCar Series, even part time, he'd have to impress the owner. Sure, it was only a tire test, but Jack knew that he had to set some good lap times in the new tire compound to even make Trent consider having him race for his team, even if it was just a part time spot.

"Ehhhhhhh..." Jack said, "I'll try to get there tomorrow. Won't let you down, Trent."

Jack got back to the table, and explained to the group the situation.

"So, that tire test I was talking about," Jack said, "Got moved to tomorrow at 11. That means right after dinner we'll have to fly out to Wisconsin. If... that's okay with you. Thing is, I really need to make a good mark on the team owner there if I wanna race in the IndyCar series."

Twilight turned to Jack.

"Well, if you're already racing in one league," she asked, "Why do you want to run this... IndyCar thing too?"

Jack seemed to take a bit of offense at this question. Offense that seemed rather irrational.

"It's... not any of your business..." Jack responded.

Fluttershy exhaled. "I'm...uh...sort of just a volunteer." She took her hat off with a blush. "Oh, I knew I shouldn't wear this. I--just come in a lot." She smiled sheepishly. "It...would be nice to see Rainbow Dash again. I guess it might be okay...but how long would it take to get there?"

"We're looking at least an 8 hour flight if she's in America or Canada, and both countries are pretty big, and there are a lot of cities in both. That's why I need to know where she is. Meet me at the cafe to record a message later??" Stephen asked, taking Fluttershy's hand, letting it go as he remembered she was-- "it won't be a date this time, I promise!"

She handed the phone to Twilight and stayed quiet so that she could possibly hear the conversation

Harry showed herself to be a formidable rival to Colette, playing away furiously on the new song. She didn't sing cuz she didn't know all the words, but she most certainly knew the riffs! So she let her guitar sing for her.

 

When Colette's roomie Rachel jumped onstage, and Colette stopped playing, Harry could hardly believe her eyes. Just what was up with this girl, anyway? There was obviously more to her than met the eye...

Fluttershy blushed and looked at her feet for a minute--'It won't be a date' may have been words she heard before. Still, flying across the ocean to a different country to find long-lost friends didn't really sound like a date. Maybe it would be okay. "Well..." She looked up. "I...guess I do want to go..."

Rainbow tried to be patient. She didn't interrupt Colette until the human girl was holding the phone a few inches away from her ears, apparently waiting for someone to be called to her.

"I don't get it." Rainbow sank onto a chair, but she couldn't cry. No way. One of them was already in tears, but every time Rainbow looked at Colette losing it, she started to heave her chest, so she looked away.

"I tried so hard," she dry-sobbed, "to be cool. I tried." This was bad; words spilled out because she couldn't keep them in anymore. She wasn't supposed to be this mare. "But I don't get it! I didn't even start a party, some strangers came to your house, but I don't understand why that's bad! Like I don't get why you're pissed at me now! Okay, I get about the car, and I'm really, really sorry, but I couldn't do anything 'cause I can't do anything here!"

The both of them were a mess. "I don't get it here. But it's just like home," Rainbow moaned. "I can't do anything!"

"If leaving right after dinner is too inconvenient," Jack said to Catherine, "I could try and see if I can work something out with the team owner. This tire test... it means a lot to me, but you guys... come first."

The cheerleaders once again, jumping up and down and waving to the cheering crowd, the male cheerleaders joining in this time around. If the crowd liked the first routine, they were in for a real treat this time around!

Once again, Chloe led the squad, grinning from ear to ear as she once again got into her starting position, being surrounded by two of the strongest guys on the squad. As soon as the music began, the guys lifted her up and tossed her high into the air, Chloe folding her arms and going into a spin as she came back down. Chloe joined the others once she was back down on the ground, she immediately set to backflipping with the others, eliciting a loud cheer from the crowd. The squad worked the crowd, making them cheer loudly and wildly again and again, culminating in a frenzied shout once it was over.

 

The principal waited a moment for the din of the cheering to die down a bit as the cheeleaders left the floor, applauding as he did so. "A very big thank you to all of our cheerleaders for another fantastic performance! Next up, we have a special act from our Varsity football team, who have a routine of their own!"

A lone senior took to the center of the floor, clad in a black robe. He took a knee, and waited a moment. "A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away..." What had followed was--interesting, and hilarious at the same time. The other seniors joined the lone robed jock, engaging in a mock battle, getting both cheers and laughs. The jocks kept the laughs coming as they danced around in cheerleader's outfits as if they hadn't had a care in the world.

Did you forget the others are coming to Racine?? What the hell am I gonna tell them if you take off and I don't know where you are?" Colette then finished nagging,remaining silent as she waited to speak to the princess.

Fluttershy leaned in over the doorway to the cafe, feeling a little silly for acting like she was sneaking in when the place was full of people. She tiptoed over to the table where Shawn waited for him and took a seat, giving a brief smile. "I don't want anything to eat," she said quickly. "I had plenty of food at home today."

Rainbow Dash didn't wait for anypony else to give Colette an answer. "They don't, okay?!"

She was breathing like a feminine bellow, keeping control of her featherless body, two feet from Colette. "You want to know what I can do? You wanna' know what I don't mess up?! I can fly. I can feathering fly." Rainbow Dash, too far gone, started to forget her favorite human slang, regressing all the way to Cloudsdale twang. "That cartoon is horseapples, okay! Horseapples! I'm the worst friend ever."

She brushed back some hair. "You're right, okay? I don't think about anyone else! The only reason anypony puts up with me is 'cause of some stupid magic I don't even understand. Here? I'm not good for anything!"

She squeezed her eyes shut. "All I'm good for is hurting other ponies." She bounded out of the chair, with a metal-on-wood screech, standing over it with one hand on the back.

"I showed up and found out there's thousands of stallions here who worship me. I lost it. I thought maybe I could--I don't know, I didn't really want to stay, but start over or something - To get to know what it was like to hang out with somepony who didn't know I was a total fuzzball. Damnit, they even thought I was cool! But I feathered up. I just--got excited, and then stuff started happening--I don't know how I manage to screw up so bad! I just did. And now everypony knows. You might as well go tell everyone their precious Rainbow Dash is a jerk. Call the fanclub, all my plushy guy. Call everyone while you're on the phone, Colette. Get it over with."

She took her hand off the chair, leaned away as if to walk away, put her hand back on for balance.

Twilight listened at bit more, and heard the mention of her 'doing whatever the hell she wants.' After listening more, she realized Rainbow really was out of control.

"Oh my Celestia..." she said, "Just put her on the phone right now. I need to have a word with that pony."

Colette looked at Rainbow, sniffing as she listened to her vent. "I don't care if you talk to your fans, and I don't really care if you're cool or not, but--you're going about it wrong, Dash. The human world is a lot more dangerous than you can imagine." Colette said softly as her sobbing ceased. She then held the phone out for the wingless Pegasus. "Twilight wants a word with you…"

Pinkie, left alone for a while, suddenly had a notion. She had watched @@~Blaze~, carefully the previous day when he'd used that, what was it called... ah yes, a computer! And now she wanted to try it out for herself. She bounced along the street, humming to herself, when she saw a room full of computers, just like the one she'd seen Blaze use! Reading the sign on the front, she saw it was an Internet Cafe. She walked in and wandered around, looking at the computers and wishing she had some human money so she could try something out.

 

A foreign girl who was messaging her family back home in Poland saw Pinkie. "Hey, you need help or something?" she asked Pinkie. Pinkie replied cheerfully, "I want to use one of these computer thingies but I don't have any money!"

 

The girl smiled. "I have enough to let you have one hour. I will help you as someone helped me the first time I came here." She paid over the money, and soon Pinkie found herself sitting in front of a computer. She played around on it for a little while, until something came up that made her sit up with a jerk. It was a blog entitled "TheRealDash" and yes, it was obviously Rainbow Dash!

 

Pinkie immediately put in a message.

 

>Hiya Rainbow, it's me, Pinkie Pie! I don't really know where I am right now, but I learned how to use a computer! I thought I'd tell you, cuz you did too! Do you know where the others are? I'm going crazy stuck here all by myself!<

 

She quickly put in the name of the town where she was currently, and sent the message. Since she had some time left, Pinkie amused herself looking for pictures of the show, and laughing at every one.

"OK, Charles," Rarity replied. Soon, she left the shop carrying loads of bags which were full of the clothes that Charles had bought her. She was walking with Charles, hoping against hope that she and all her friends would be together soon.

Cicada had woken up a little time before, and had gotten washed and dressed. "Yeah, I'm awake," she replied.

(OOC: BTW, just for funzies, I googled Dashie's blog. There's a blog called theRealDash, is the closest thing, and it's someone's greyhound dog.)

 

"Huh..." Fluttershy moved in front of the laptop and waved--a corresponding image of her on the screen waved back. "Like a mirror."
That was fun. She sat down in an adjacent seat. "So um...can Rainbow Dash hear me? Is that how this works?"

She turned to Shawn for a moment, biting her lip in thought. "And um...I've also decided I'll try this trip i--if you still think it's a good idea. I talked to my roommates last night and..." she shrugged, "some of them thought it would be an okay idea if I left, so, it's okay to go."

Rainbow Dash returned to the other side of the chair with a sigh, and limply accepted the phone, holding it in her finger like it would sting her before drawing it up to the ears on the side of her head. Getting yelled at by Twilight was one-hundred percent not fun. It was even worse than Rarity. At least when Rarity was mad at her, Rainbow could shrug it off because Rarity was a fashionistia, so, in theory anyway, she wouldn't know what being cool was. But Twilight was smart--and know she was a princess. Rainbow Dash had avoided doing anything to really earn her ire since that transformation, and she'd been hoping to keep it that way. Now her stomach plummeted.

Well, it could be worse, right? At least it wasn't Fluttershy.

"Y-eah?" Rainbow squeaked into the phone. "Hi, Twilight..."

Charles enter into the Resturant were Jack, others were as he telling the water that he was with Jack group since he saw Jack, then they went over there while smiles as he looking at Jack and then say hi too. "Hay Jack so what did your manger say since I need to check out of my hotel and got Rarity clothing too." While he letting Rarity Sit down first before he sit-down and then looking at the others too.

@@Dawn Stripes, Dennis had his doubts, he considered this a crazy course for a moment. But then again he had playing it safe all of his life. If this would be the only chance to finally do something crazy he would grab it! After some time of running around, scouring his room for his papers, calling the parents for some extra, he did it. He was ready... and so it was that he headed towards were Rainbow told him ready to do whatever it takes. He would do this... and there would no regrets.

I always knew you as a troublemaker back in Equestria, but I never would have imagined you doing this in a world that isn't even yours! You don't know a thing about this world, and how it even operates! Celstia knows what you've done! What if you accidentally did something that locked us into this forsaken world?! What if you ripped a hole into time and space?!! Then both worlds will be doomed! Rainbow Dash, you BETTER LISTEN CAREFULLY TO ME. You better not carry on with your little antics. How would you like it if someone came from another universe to Equestria and completely ruined Ponyville?! And making another pony cry?! I never took you for a bully, either. Looks like I was wrong on that part, too."

Jack listened to Twilight scream at Rainbow Dash over the phone, and assumed something was wrong in Wisconsin.

"Well," Jack said, "Judging by Twilight's tirade, I think it would be a good idea to get to Wisconsin as soon as possible. I'll notify Trent that I'll be there tomorrow."
