And I apologize that the location wasn't clear. I thought I had dropped enough contextual hints. I think that is something I need to work on since people have been confused about stuff from my fanfics.

 

Seemed clear enough to me. I tend to write in a similar style, though, probably less detailed.

Also I've heard American Psycho is a pretty decent movie. Is that true? I've never seen it. I'm just really tired of slasher/serial killer movies. Basically is it worth seing?

 It's beyond worth watching. It's more a social-commentary than a slasher, but if you're not into all that, they'res still plenty of juicy blood.

Thank you, (Was going to put a smiley emoticon but honestly they aren't my style, just pretend there's one). If it helps at all my other OC, Snowy Fields, is much closer to how I am...and he's definitely a blunt instrument. I thought about using him for this RP instead to have him fight with Steel Accord but...I kind of like Silver Heart more.

Ha, that's an interesting coincidence....I feel exactly the same way compared to many of the RP'ers (Including you two) on this forum. There are only a few RP'ers here that I think are worse than I am. Example being....well I won't say his (her?) name because I don't want to hurt their feelings if  they somehow see this but their OC always goes insane and kills other OC's....and when they fight, they godmod so they win. 

 

Anyway, I don't think I'm that great at writing; I'm sure we are both probably at about the same skill level (Or you're better than me, I wouldn't be shocked)...it took me about six-seven hours to write that post...and I had already known exactly what I wanted to do. Plus I worry too much about being realistic. I sat for about an hour trying to decide how a person like Silver Heart would react to that situation.

That actually makes it sound better. (The commentary, not the gore) I'm kind of a horror snob and gore takes away from the experience to me. Too many movies use excessive amounts of blood to "scare" the audience...of course I could just be missing the underlying point of the movie as I have done with some of the older horror movies. 

 

Anyway I'm rambling because I'm procrastinating my classwork.  Sorry for the long post.

Silver Heart has joined the group yet as far as I know, and Gustave has appeared but hasn't done much else. Marble Stripe could try arguing with Poppy about his eye.

Thank you so much. Poppy Seed is the bar maid right? (My memory is horrible with names...even fictional ponies). Hmm...I wouldn't say Silver is the type of pony that would drink. So sure they've seen each other enough to recognize the other but probably aren't much more than acquaintances. Since I probably won't be posting what happens in between my last post and running into the group, I'll explain it below.

 

My plan for the next post (if i had to get her to yall) was to have Silver take a shower, hide her bruises as much as possible and then head to the party...all while ignoring Peach's screams. Eventually Peach can't scream anymore.

 

So tl;dr Silver Heart is on her way to the party. Also Windbreaker what time zone do you live in? Your up awfully late (or early) for my own time zone.

Time Zone? Last I checked it was GMT+10:00. To clarify, I live in Australia, around 3 or so hours away from Melbourne.

 

As for the RP, yes, Poppy is the barmaid. What you've posted is more than enough to go on.

 

Also, don't worry. I'm also terrible with names. Especially when I have to come up with them.

Uh... I hate to push someone into a retraction, but that last sentence in my last post was supposed to be Marble thinking, not talking. I would just roll with it and get into an argument, but 1. He's not so antisocial that he'd say something so elitist out loud in front of a crowd, and 2. I see no reason why he wouldn't just slam his hands hooves down on the table and storm off. Him having actually said that would have him out on the streets but minutes before the 12:00-

Wait! Nevermind! Him leaving could be a good thing! I've got an idea... And I'm going to post it later. Sorry, for some reason my creative writing "skills" only kick in between 12:00am and 2:00am (CST) Stay tuned!

I was also asking (About the time zone) since you seem to be up around the same times I am....and my schedule is absolutely horrible for Texas (2 AM - 7 PM).

It's not such a bad place to live, actually. It gets very hot during summer and downright freezing during the winter around where I live.

That I do! While explicitly wearing armor is not a goal of mine, I will have to learn how to fight with it at some point. Offers a lot of benefits to! Fun fact: Plate armor was bulletproof! Yeah the firearms available at the time couldn't punch through it.

 

Marble was silent and motionless for a good 15 seconds. He had wasted his night, gotten injured by Galt's drones, and now he was being insulted by some nobody journalist. He was absolutely fed up. He stood up slowly, with a forced smile. "Have a nice night, everypony." and he walked away. Marble slowly walked through the halls of Harmony, on his way to his home, when something moved in the corner of his eye. It was faint, but it appeared to be group of about five ponies, wearing bizarre rabbit masks. "Where are the others?" one of them whispered, sounding exasperated. "sigh for the third time, we're going in separate squads so that-" The second leader was cut off. "Hello?" Marble shouted. "I can see you. What are you doing?" "Buck, run!" The leader shouted, and they all rushed off in the direction of the Kashmir Restaurant. Marble caught a glimpse of something metal on one of the ponies. Was that a crossbow? "Hey, wait!" He yelled in vain. Nothing was stopping them now, and they were too fast for Marble. "At least there was someone that party didn't want..." He muttered. There was no way that those delinquents could do any harm. They probably just wanted to throw eggs as the hoity-toity party-goers. The idea put him in a slightly better mood. He continued to trot off to his apartment.

That is why Aegis called him a grump, and his refusal to use the first aid station (I'm assuming we probably found one or two offscreen while Peach Tree tried ransacking Silver Heart's clinic) is why Poppy sarcastically called him a 'hero'. We could consider that the reason Aegis' second book failed. He was having a go at the elitist sect through his writing

 

Out of curiosity, what kind of Cutie Mark would Poppy Seed have? It's the last thing I need to finish on her character sheet.

Perhaps a fizzling mug? Something that would have to do with bartending. Perhaps, for a little more subtlety, a cushion or some such. Something to symbolize wanting to give comfort as a bartenders want to do.

Good, that's what I was going for. I'm either going to try to go for some "redemption" subplot for him, or just go all out villain at some point. I'm one of those "spoonyone" types who has to play a sort of offbeat character most of the time. My next OC is going to be a bit more avarage, but I'll always prefer paranoid Shining Mask and snobby Patrick Bateman Marble Stripe.

Sorry to everyone I just barraged with brohoofs. I was just re-reading some of the earlier posts in the RP, and decided to brohoof some of them, since they're all pretty well written.

 

Question regarding Gustave, though. I had an idea that the war practically forces him to join our merry band in order to escape the party-turned-warzone. What does everyone think of that idea?

Sorry about that...I guess I should have known Dot's stripes were black. I'd have sworn that I had read they were pink....since that made me think "Huh, that's interesting. Is she a Zony?" I reread the whole RP the other day [before my large post] because I wanted to make sure she was a Zony, since I was originally going to say "Little half-breed whore". I was wrong. So I guess that's two strikes for me.

 

Anyway, typing up my latest post now, I apologize if there's anything or anyone I forgot to respond to in this thread.

An idea just came to me while I was re-reading the planning thread for the RP. Steel Accord dropped a placeholder name for whoever becomes Atlas: Praetorian. Why not use that one?
