((Finally up! I'll do Joystick's text in bright red and Novella's in black. Also when your ponies wake up in The Game they're weaponless.))

 

Joystick carefully puts a hoofprint on each letter and gives each to a loyal servant to deliver to each selected pony.

"This'll be fun. I do love playing games, I just hope they love games as much as I do." Joystick thinks to herself.

 

Novella wakes up in her small cottage and when going over to the kitchen to make her morning tea, she sees a paper on the floor under her door. She levitates it over to her so she can read it.

She pales and the paper drops to the floor.

"Please don't be real!" She yells.  Just then two armed ponies in jet black armor break open her door and hold something to her mouth until she faints. They then carry her to an abandoned warehouse and go off to gather the other ponies.

Sapphire awoke to her alarm clock ringing next to her ear. She pushed it off the bedside table, causing it to halt abruptly. Sapphire then got up, rubbing her eyes with her front hooves and yawning, picking up to clock and putting it back onto the cabinet. She went into the kitchen and poured some cereal and ate it quickly before going downstairs from her apartment above her shop to open the shop up.

Sapphire then noticed noticed that a letter had been posted below the shops' door, probably in the night. Oh great, probably some bills. How much money do these ponies want?! She thought, sighing as she picked up the letter and read it, her eyes widening slightly as she read through. Just... Just junkmail, nothing to worry about... She thought to herself, placing the letter down on the counter next to the cash register.

Soon after she hears the bell above the door jingle, announcing that a customer had arrived.

"Hello! How may I help you today?" She asked brightly, smiling at the two ponies. Her smile soon faded as she noticed that they were armed. One of the walked over to her and held a rag full of a strange chemical over her mouth and nose, causing her to faint. She was then carried off somewhere.

Icy Stars woke up and looked at the clock. 6 AM on the dot. Perfect. she thought. The ceremony was at 10, so he had four hours to get ready. She went to the kitchen and made herself breakfast. After cleaning up, she left her cloud home and checked the mailbox. There was only one letter, and she started making her way to her friend's house as she opened and read it. As soon as she saw the words, the letter slipped from her hoof. "What?" Tears welled up in her eyes. This was supposed to be her special day with Rain Arrow...

As if on cue, two Pegasus stallions flew to her sides and grabbed her wings.

"WAAAIT!" she screamed, startling them.

"I-I will participate, but I... I need to talk to somepony first."

 

They reluctantly complied, and gave her a few minutes to speak with her fiancé, Rain Arrow.

She explained the situation through sobs. When he said that he couldn't let her go, she hugged him. "I have to, if I don't they.. They might k-kill me... And if I go now I may be able to come b-back..." she stuttered as another wave of tears rolled down her cheeks.

They spoke few words, and just stood there, hugging, trying to comfort each other even though neither were all too calm about the situation themselves.

The last thing she remembered before everything faded to black was telling Rain Arrow she loved him, and walking out the door.

Blank Memento was sitting on the bed of a Manehatten hotel.  In his hooves was a picture of two mares and a stallion all looking happy at some beach, he was staring hard at it, trying to take in every detail. 'Could it be me?  I know it was something to do with my past... but what?  Was that stallion me before?  It can't be, he is an earth pony.  Did I know them?'

 

There was a rapping at the rooms door, Blank jointed, crumpling the photo up and shoving it in one of his many vest pockets.  He stared at the door paranoia racing through his head.  'Somebody has found me, they're here to make sure I never remember!.. Wait, that doesn't make sense if they were here for that why would they knock?'

 

He rose and headed to the door.  "Tis some visitor," reassuring himself aloud, "tapping at my chamber door - Only this, and nothing more."  He reached the door and looked through the eye piece. One looking stallion in a suit looking disinterested and a mare in the hotels staff dress getup, she smiled, "Room service sir."

 

"I didn't order anything," Blanks heart started to race.  "Complimentary sir, the hotels pool is going to be closed tonight so all customers get a complimentary cupcake," she answered sweetly without hesitation.  Blank felt himself relax some, that made more sense.  He opened the door, the mare opened a fancy lid and there was a delicious looking cupcake.  

 

"Mind eating it now?" she gestured to the metal cart under it, "we have a lot more to deliver."  Blank laughed maybe this was his lucky night, "No problem, I'm starved actually."  He snatched up the treat chowing down on it.  While chewing it the stallion handed him a piece of paper.  "What's this?" Blank asked crumbs flying from his mouth.  "Just a bit of light reading relating to the cupcake and our game,"  the mare was still sweet as sugar.

 

"Game?" If Memento wasn't already white he would have paled as he read the sheet. 'Oh god I have to get way, they just want to kill me!  It's a ruse!  They just want a justification!'  "Oh... well I guess I have no choice in the matter then.  Shall we get going?"

 

He started to trot down the hall, 'Act like you are going with play along when you get to the end of the hall run.'  He stumbled, the feeling in the legs going out. 'They drugged the cupcake!'  He couldn't even cry out as he feel to the floor, he heard the cart roll up next to him 'How are they going to get a dead weight pony out without someone seeing me?' 

 

The mare opened the metal cart, a large empty space inside, expect for a black hood,  which she promptly secured over Blank Memento's head.  'Oh that's clever,'  was the last thought he had, but in his drugged stupor only mumbled into the bag "Nevermore" before the stallion hit him in the head knocking him out completely for good measure.  

 

Nopony noticed as the pair as they causally wheeled the cart out of the hotel.

[Blade Lightning 13]

lightning gets back home from a job to find a letter at the door "huh, wonder who this is from."

He takes the letter inside and reads it.

After he reads the letter he hears some knocking on his door and says "hello, who's there" and opens the door only to get whacked on the head and knocked out.

He wakes up to find himself in a warehouse.

[Nightraxx 130]

(Okay, this is going to be fun.)

 

Nightraxx looked at his watch, it was early in the Morning. He had been on a Gig in one of the major Nightclubs in Baltimare and the party went on for the whole night. Finally, at around 6 AM, the party was finally over and the Club was closing. The last party-crazy guests had finally left in reluctance and the dancehall lay dormant and almost silent, save for a few worker stallions cleaning up the mess the guests had caused.

 

"Whew, that was a long night. I am tired to no end." Nightraxx thought. "Just gotta pack up my equipment and then it is off to my home and into my bed." He cleaned his stuff, gathered his equipment...and noticed an envelope...

 

"To Nightraxx" it read. "Hmm, strange. Who'd leave me a letter in a place like this?" he thought. But, then he did remember a strange stallion, clothed entirely in black, who had passed pretty close the stage Nightraxx was playing on. Nightraxx remembered that he looked at that stallion...and he looked back at him. It wasn't a friendly stare. Nightraxx had shrugged it off, thinking he must've been drunk. "Did he leave that here?" he thought confused. "Maybe Fanmail?" he was amused at that thought. "Probably not." He smiled at himself.

 

"Well, i'll read it on my way home." Nightraxx said to himself. And with that, he inserted the Letter into his bag and finished his work. Minutes later after he was done and his equipment was stored, he had exited the Club through the back door, bag in hand, It was still dark outside, the sun hadn't been raised yet.

 

On his way, Nightraxx thought he heard something behind him, but when he looked back, the street lay dormant and he seemed alone. "The wind, the wind..." He remembered the letter he had found in the club and decided that he could read it now. He opened his bag and took the letter into his hooves. "So, let's see..." he muttered and opened the envelope and started reading the Letter.

 

Nightraxx stopped dead in his tracks, with a serious expression on his face. The letter seemed to be written with a typewriter, the letters in crimson red....and while the message itself was formulated in a cheerful manner, the intention behind the words clearly were cold and even malicious. "A..game?" he thought, not remembering ever to have registered for anything like this.

 

His thoughts were suddenly interrupted, as a multitude of ponies, most wearing black and their faces covered up, approached him from behind and seemed to surround him. "What do you want..." he said in a serious but cautious tone. They didn't answer. Only one, who seemed to be their boss said "Nightraxx...it is time."

 

He instantly recognized him. It was the strange pony from the club. "Who are you..." he asked. But he wouldn't get an answer. Instead, the ponies behind him grabbed him.  "What the...Let me go!!!" he shouted out to them in a mixture of surprise and anger; he struggled, and managed to push away one attacker, but eventually, he was overwhelmed. They firmly held onto his hooves, so he couldn't flee.

Their boss approached him...and held something in his hooves, which looked like some sort of spray. Without saying a word, he sprayed the content into Nightraxx's face. "Gulp!..."

 

It smelled strange...he wanted to hold his breath, but it was too late for that, they would have forced him to inhalate it anyway. "Wh...what did you...do?" he asked, but the feeling he started to get pretty much answered the question.

 

His vision started to blur and his consiousness faded slowly, but steady. "Y...you criminals..." were the last words he managed to utter before he blacked out completely.

 

He didn't know how long he was out, he didn't even seem to dream, he only knew he had been taken somewhere....

Violet Swirl woke up to her alarm clock at 6:15 am.  "Whew. That was a weird dream" She said to herself, having a dream about strange men at her door.  She decided to make a morning smoothie.  Hmmm.... Let's see. I guess I'll have blueberries and strawberries with yogurt.

 

She put the ingredients in along with ice, and let it blend.  Once the blender stopped, Violet heard the door bell ring.  She put the smoothie in a glass and went to the door.  She opened up the door to see two young, muscular colts at the door.

 

May I help you?" Violet asked the men."

 

"Are you Miss Violet Swirl?" The golden colored stallion asked.

 

"And who are you?"

 

"This is her.  Let's go" The green one said, both attacking her.

 

Violet struggled and screamed, dropping the smoothie she made and spilling on the ground.  The big green stallion covered her face with chloroform and she went out.

 

Violet woke up, head hurting and saw other ponies in the same room.  "Where am I?  and what Happened?" She whispered.

Red was bored. Mind-numbingly bored. The last time he'd been this bored, he'd started picking off civilians to see how long it would take the police to notice, and then started picking off police to see how long it would take them to figure out his position. Then he moved.

 

As he walked down the street to his favorite cafe, Red knew something was off. There were less ponies on the streets than normal. Then he felt a shattering blow to the back of his head, and it all went black.

Lightning woke up at her desk once again as she usually did, her face was attached to some notes on her desk with a few ideas for novels that she wrote down. She scratched her head then grabbed her dressing gown; Lightning put it on and then started to steadily walk down the stairs. As per usual she grabbed her daily cup of coffee and then went to see if she had had any letters from publishers. But there was only one note.She picked it up and then two ponies charged through the door. "Ummm hello..." they grabbed her and put her to sleep, she felt like she was being dragged. She thought to herself that it was a dream, and it was a good idea for a book. But it was not a dream...

Blank Memento opened his eyes, his lids were heavy and his vision blurred.  'That was a pleasent dream turned nightmare.  Something about flying, being a raven and cupcakes?  Then everything went squiggly and swimming; a nice mare who was an evil liar... a dark box and something being lost forevermore?...  No more drinking for me.'

 

His sight finally came into focus directly on the face of a midnight bue pegasus(@), it seemed huge because it was only a few inches from his.  The pegasus's tongue was lolled out, his features had strange heavy sagged look to it. 'Ah dead Pony!' Blank sprang to his feet away from the stallion.  He stumbled, his limbs like lead and head spinning, he accidentally kicked a light blue pegasus(@) nearly tripping over him.  'AHHH! Dead Ponies everywhere!  The rooms full of dead ponies!  The dropped me in a room of dead ponies!'

 

He moved as quickly as he could manage to the rooms wall and leaned against it trying to gather his thoughts.  'Why would they just leave me in a room of dead ponies?  Maybe they're zombie ponies?!  No they'd have eaten me already...'  Paying more attention now Blank noticed all the ponies were breathing and moving slightly.

 

'They drugged me and knocked me out to bring me here, they must have done it to these ponies too!' As he was thinking this a bright violet unicorn(@@Applejack25) seemed to stir along with that light blue pegasus he had accidental kicked.  'See they're waking up, we were all brought here the same way.  Don't need to be scared of them...'

 

"Unless they really are zombies," he said allowed without realizing.  'Zombies don't breathe and they certainly don't sleep,' he reminded himself.'

 

His voice must have gotten their attention because the violet pony opened her eyes and whispered "Where am I?  and what Happened?"  and in the couple moment's after she spoke the light blue pegasus opened his eyes as well.

((OOC: I guess I'll do a waking up post too, I'm bored. Also using a kind of headcanon, don't mind me...))

 

Sapphire groaned as she awoke to someone talking loudly.

"Be quiet..." she mumbled, before realizing that

1. She was asleep on the floor and not her bed.

2. There was someone talking and loads of heavy breathing around her.

She sprung up instantly and looked around, not recognizing where she was before remembering the ponies who had entered her shop and knocked her out. As the truth about the letter and the kidnapping dawned in, her coat gradually lost its crystal-ness. She looked around, alarmed and noticed someone else was awake. Instead of greeting him like she normally would, she backed off as far as she could, keeping away from the mass of sleeping ponies and the one that was conscious, not saying a word but staring at them, watching out for hostility.

Red woke slowly, and with a string of profanity. The first thing he noticed was the bright light. The second thing was the pounding headache. The third, and possibly most important, was that he had no memory of drinking. Abducted again. Lovely.

 

There were two ponies awake, and more still on the ground. Red stood up and started looking for anything that could be a door.

Nightraxx awoke abruptly. His mind was still blurred from the anesthetic, but eventually, his sight and and mind became clear. He was in a big, brightly lit room. The room looked a lot like you would expect to find in some kind of warehouse.

 

Then he realized that he wasn't alone. There....were several ponies in the room with him. Most seemed to be still knocked out cold. "What the...." he thought. Then it struck his mind like a needle. He remembered the ponies in black and the strange stallion, he had seen in the club the night before. They drugged him...with some sort of knock-out spray..."They must have brought me here...but why?"

 

He looked at the unconcious ponies while standing up....some were female, some male. "Are they victims of those kidnappers, too?" They seemed asleep, since thankfully, they were breathing and none looked injured. It was then when he saw 3 ponies, which were already awake. Two of them stood pressed against another wall, while the third one seemed to be looking for an exit.

 

He was reluctant at first, but it seemed like they all had been in the same situation as himself, so she decided to break the silence. "I...guess they have got you, too? Those kidnappers. Where the heck are we?"

Hello?  Do you know what happened?  Oops!  Sorry, I'm Violet Swirl" She said, a little nervous.

Icy Stars jolted awake from nightmares of Rain Arrow doing a variety of things, such as cheating on her or leaving her at the altar.

She rubbed her eyes with her hooves and realized she'd been crying. She sat up from where she was and noticed that she was surrounded by ponies, some asleep and some standing and talking.

What happened?

Ice stretched her wings, they were extremely sore and it hurt to move her left wing. She tried to ignore it and fly, then dropped to the ground on her stomach.

"OW!" she screamed, then clenched her teeth and sat up, tears pricking her eyes.

Blank's heart was racing, all the other ponies were walking up around him.  He stood there against the wall too tense to move, paranoia running through his head, 'What if they were faking it?  What if they are just working with those other ponies, they acted nice too.  I could just be some elaborate ruse to get on his side and find out what he had learned.'  One of the ponies that had woken up, the one whose face he'd woken up staring at, had started talking(@), but he was to stuck in his own head to hear what was said. 'But I haven't learned anything yet.'

 

A voice to his side snapped him out of it

 

"Ummmm... Hello? Do you know what happened?

He jumped, startled.  He hadn't seen her get up.

 

Oops! Sorry, I'm Violet Swirl

She sounded as nervous as he was but he still could find his voice.  Instead he tried to nod but this cuased his hat to fall forward covering his eyes.

 

Blank Momento was suddenly thrown into darkness, "Ahhhhhhhh!" He galloped forward blindly and yelling, he tripped hard over a very light blue unicorn (@), though he didn't see that and slid hard across the floor.

Novella jolted awake. She picks her head up and looks around. She suddenly started laughing.

"I've gone insane again! This is just a figment of my imagination isn't it. Trapped in a room. Other ponies. Dragged here against my will. It's just my imagination! Now where are the shadows..." She announced.

At this point she was roaming around the room yelling this at everypony she could see.

@, Red stopped what he was doing and stood still, and then whirled around and grabbed Novella by the throat.

"I don't know vat you sink you are doink, but hear zis: Unless you come up vis a better idea, vat I am doink is our ONLY chance of escape. So shut your mous and listen."

Relinquishing his hold on her, Red returned to the wall, starting his process again.

Nightraxx had watched some ponies struggling to stand, they had to still be under the influence of the anesthetic, or so he thought.

 

He then saw a light blue unicorn mare, who had just woken up before walking around, laughing hysterically and talking something about this situation being just her imagination. She then proceeded to talk around the room in unrest and shouting at the few ponies who had been awake...

 

However, when she eventually reached a brown stallion with a short red mane and shouted to him as well, he quickly grabbed her by her throat and said something in a strange accent. He never heard this accent before, probably mainly because he lived in Manehattan, and ponies there had their own way of talking. He eventually released his grip on her and then picked up his search for an exit again.

 

Nightraxx shook his head. He slowly walked over to the mare, the stallion just had grabbed. "Are you ok, Miss?"

"the chemicals that were used to knock you out with was probably Chloroform, you should be ok though since its not known to kill, I didn't get any chems, just a big whack on the head." she looks scared, I don't blame her, when two pony's come and knock you out and then you wake up in a building surrounded by other ponies who you don't know, you do get a bit scared.

She suddenly remembered what took place. Wedding day. Mysterious letter. Strange stallions. Saying goodbye to Rain Arrow. She vaguely remembered telling him she loved him and exiting the room, then everything going black. She also dimly remembered feeling excruciating pain at her head and where her wing connected to her body. Looking back at her wing, she sighed, tears pricking her eyes from the pain. Great. It was probably broken or at least fractured. Now she couldn't fly.
