"I hope this gather will be fun" He said to him-self. He walked slowly to Corona's house wondering if he should have done something more to his attire.

"No anything more would have been over-kill. I wonder what will Snow think" As soon as he said that he turned red. "Well that was random. How did she get in my thoughts?" he said to himself. he arrived at Corona's front door and knocked.

Sterling noticed Snowdream standing around by the dining room as he continued to help Corona's family prepare the food. He wanted to be friendly to her too, especially after what he saw earlier at the park. He walked up to Snowdream and asked in a polite and friendly, way, "Hey Snowdream. Would... you like to help us get the meal ready for Corona's special guest?"

 

"Sure, why not?" Snowdream said, relieved that she had been given something to do.

 

"What can I do to help?" She asked with a gentle smile to Sterling. She didn't really know him that well, and wanted to get to know him a bit more, considering they were apart of the same friendship group.

Star Rain looked up as Flare flew away. Quite happy with herself and their trip to the museum, she trotted on to Corona's home. Along the way, she ran into her father. "Oh, hey Nana!" she said cheerfully, raising a hoof up in greeting. "Hey Star! How was your date?" he asked jokingly. She immediately put on her "I am not amused" look.

 

"It's not a date... Anyways, I'm on my way to a friend's party. What are you doing?" she asked, noting a bag from a hiking store he was carrying. "Oh, they were having a sale on hiking stuff and I found this new vest for you," he replied, levitating a simple, sky blue vest out it and giving it to Star. She took it, removed the price tags, and put it on. In her opinion, it went well with her scarf which matched the color plus it was white. "Thanks!" she said as she went on to Corona's house. She decided to wait outside for Flare before going in.

Sterling was happy that Snowdream wanted to help out; after all, he was still a beginner when it came to cutting food and preparing different spices and sauces for the dinner. As such, he asked her nicely, "Umm you could help me cut these vegetables. I'm really slow when it comes to that sort of job and I'm only beginning to learn thanks to Corona here." Sterling took a good look at his cut vegetables and knew deep inside that he did a... below average performance to say the least.

Corona chuckled as Sterling continued to ask her about the mystery guest tonight. "No Sterling, I'm not telling you who's coming to this cookout. Besides she's someone I look up to most of all...well next to my parents of course. I'm just getting a little worried cause there are others that haven't shown up yet." Corona's mother answered the door and saw Regal and Saronyx standing there and she motioned them in telling them to make themselves comfortable. Corona looked back and let a small sigh go, two more had shown up but she was still missing two more and the mare she bumped into the other day. Oh I hope the others show up soon dad put those balloons up high enough so anypony could see them from the city. Corona was so lost in thought, Cloud Dancer stopped her from cutting when the knife got a little too close for comfort. "Calm down Corona I'm sure that all your friends will be here soon enough."

Sterling was happy that Corona at least gave him a hint as to who the special guest was tonight. He then responded kindly but jokingly as he and Snowdream continued to mince the vegetables for their vegetable salad, "Well at least I know it's a mare. Hehe. For a moment, I thought the special guest was a stallion."

Saronyx nods and enters, surveying the interior of the home. Honestly, he felt slightly out of place. He'd only just met some of these ponies a few hours earlier. But, how else do you get to know ponies without spending time with them? This was as good an excuse as any.

Flare arrived at Coronas house after he remembered the address. "Finally...thought I almost forgot the address...glad I didn't" Flare said to himself as he raised his hoof and knocked on the door band waited for somepony to answer. "I wonder who else will be here" Flare thought.

While waiting, Star Rain kind of stared off into space for a minute. After Flare knocked, she snapped out of it and rushed up to him, tripping along the way. She shakily got up and looked as if it wasn't such a big deal. Wiping dirt off of her new sky blue vest, she grinned and said,"Hey Flare! What's up?"

Flare turned when he heard somepony say his name and saw Star Rain coming towards him. "Hey Star" Flare said smiling at her. "Wow I'm clueless I didnt even know she was there till now...that or she just got here...really hope its the latter option" Flare thought

Cloud Dancer opened the door and saw Star and Flare standing outside. "Well hello there you two. You must be some of Corona's friends. Please come in and join us our guest is about to show up soon." Corona turned around to see Star and Flare walk in. Corona smiled from ear to ear. She was glad to see that they'd made it to the party, there was only one pony missing from the party and it was the mare that Corona had bumped into earlier. "Hey guys glad you could make it. Like mom said our guest will be here soon and I'm just finishing up the food for her."

Regal smiled at Corona as he walked in. Already all the noise and movement in Corona's house reminded Regal of his past home.

"Wow this place really is active. I really like how your house is so full of life" Still he was with friends and he was going to spend time with them. To him this place was great and very welcoming.

"Hey so then let have some fun" said Regal looking for some pony to do something with.

Snowdream stepped out of the kitchen and looked around. She could see that more of her friends had arrived. She saw Regal looking around and smiled to him.

 

Gosh he looks good in his suit! I hope I look okay. Wait... why am I even worried about that... Snowdream thought as she walked up to him.

Regal saw Snow from the corner of his eye. -She looks magnificent- he thought to him-self. As she walked up to him he smiled and bowed to her.

"You look magnificent" Regal said smiling as he got up from the bow. "I'm glad to see you smiling Snow" looking around he took in the scope of the party.

(OOC: I'm sorry for being much less active on the roleplay lately. I still won't be as active because I have MCAT to take. Plus, I have a summer job, so yeah. I'll try to post at least once every two days or so though. I'll be resurrected once I finish the exam on August 9.)

 

As Sterling continued to cut the vegetables in an inefficient manner, he noticed Snowdream stepping out of the kitchen to look around for other guests. 'Huh... I  can't do this cutting alone! I need help! Well... at least I'm learning how to cut better I guess... Besides, it's for Cowona... rightie? hehehe.' thought a dreamy Sterling as he continued to cut the carrots rather choppily as he began to daydream about being with Corona at school tomorrow...

Star Rain looked emotionless, but she was excited and scared on the inside. She ket glancing from Flare to everypony else, and back again. It went for more than five minutes until she heard Corona speaking. "Oh hey Corona, what's up? And sorry for ditching you yesterday..."

Flare just kept quiet. "I still feel bad for yesterday...maybe I should say sorry to them even if I didnt harm anyponies feelings...then tomorrow is school and that's just gonna be hell I bet...hopefully no rumors have spread yet" Flare thought as he sighed.

Corona was happy to see all of her friends here well all except for the mare she'd bumped into today. "Not much Star, and it's fine. I'm just finishing up getting the food ready. If you want dad looks like he could use some help setting the table up outside if you and Flare wanna help him. He's not much of a multitasker, we don't want him burning food on the grill." Corona giggled, she then went back to helping Sterling finishing cutting the last of the veggies. Watching her mother set some bowls of hay, and placed the a good amount of watermelon and other fruits out that would be taken out later. Corona leaned up against Sterling, using her wings to steady his hooves. "Here Sterling, let me help you. They'll cut better if you do it like this." Corona angled the knife differently and in one smooth motion cut a veggie perfectly.

Sterling was continuing to cut on the vegetables when Corona came back to him. She instantly helped him with the job, performing the task admirably. As Sterling watched, he opened his mouth in awe and thought with perplexity in his eyes, 'How... how can she do it so perfectly... Oh my...' Sterling tried to change his angle to match Corona's methods, but it was a difficult task for him; he was never one with kitchen utensils. As he tried to cut the knife at a different angle, he suddenly screamed in pain as he accidentally cut himself on his front hoof. It wasn't a terrible cut, but he was still bleeding pretty badly with a moderately large cut.

Star Rain's ears twitched when Flare sighed and she interpreted it accurately. "How about we not worry about all of that and try and be useful, 'k?" she said somewhat sheepishly before turning to the door leading outside. "Let's go and help out Corona's father, shall we?"

"Okay I'll help out Coronas father" Flare said as his worry for tomorrow disappeared as he smiled and followed Star Rain outside to where Coronas father is at. "I wont have to worry about tomorrow at least...that is if I can avoid Ruby all day tomorrow" Flare thought.

Corona panicked when she saw Sterling cut himself. Luckily Cloud was near by and quickly put Sterling's hoof under some water to wash out any infection. Corona reached into the bottom cupboard and pulled out a big first air box, opening it and pulling out a bandage and some tape. Corona quickly bandaged up Sterling's hoof and taped it so that it wouldn't get wet or dirty. "Sterling you gotta be more careful." Corona whined, before lifting his hoof up and kissing the injured area asking if it felt better. "Don't worry Sterling you should be fine. Me and Corona are used to this. Her father although he seems very capable is quite a safety hazard to himself." Cloud snickered.

 

Outside Star Seeker was currently having some difficulties getting the tables set up. the legs didn't want to unfold and he'd pulled a bat out to start beating on it. Looking at the kitchen window he saw Cloud with an angry look on her face and shaking her head back and forth. Cloud heard the back door open and saw Flare and Star come out, apparently to give him a hoof. "Oh thank Celestia you're just in time. Please give me a hoof with these tables before I bash them."

Well, this was going well. If standing silently by the door constitutes as well. Saronyx had never really been the best in social situations when it was him in a crowd of ponies he barely knew. But, what better way to get to know them than to talk?

 

He steps away from his position by the door, "Is there anything I can do to help? I'm feeling kind of useless over there. Would I be needed indoors or out?"

Sterling's wounds were being tended by Corona. Throughout that experience, Sterling enjoyed it very much, especially the kiss. He grinned sheepishly as Corona kissed his bandaged wound, hoping that the other ponies didn't see. He replied to Corona with a slight blush, "Yes... yes that feels better now. Thanks Corona. Sorry for that. I'm... terrible with kitchen utensils but good with dissecting tools. Hahaha..."
