Tempest noticed Crimson and landed. "I thought some ponies were still here." The cyan pegesus then took the sheath for his two blades and tossed it at Crimson."If it comforts you anymore, then I come in peace.." Tempest then smirked. "You can also blindfold me and take me to your base, which I assume is in the hospital near my home." The cyan pegesus then leaned back and waited for the pyromaniac of a pony to make a decision.

"Tempest was headed in this direction, and Thunder's unpredictable in his current state." He grabbed Golden by the shoulder. "Shoot to incapacitate, not kill." He pats him on the shoulder.

"Crimson's about to try something stupid. Make sure his plan isn't on dying." He said pointing him out and headed back to the ward.

Golden Age ran up to Crimson "Wonder wanted me to make sure you weren't gonna go and get yer flank killed." He said, aiming his musket at the cyan pony. "Want me to shoot the heathen in the leg lad? Wonder said I need to 'incapacitate' them" he said in a somewhat mocking tone

Crimsons eyes narrowed, "first off, I'll take your weapons, but only becous of your...other side, second, I don't see the point in blindfolding you if you already know where our hideout is, but I will put a muzzle on you," said crimson as he pulled out a leather and iron muzzle, and smiled evilly, "I hope your not hungry, becouse were fresh out of blood, sorry, but seriously, I hope your not just yanking my chain.." said crimson warily before throwing tempest the muzzle and oicking up his swords, waiting paitiently for tempest.

Nocturne rubbed the two rocks together creating a spark. "Perfect" Nocturne Had been roaming around the hospital grounds for some materials to make some explosive traps. He had found his last vital ingredient, the spark. "I hope these will come in handy later"

Tempest sighed and put on the muzzle. He then nooded and trotted towards the hospital. "There's probably a blod bank around here somewhere." He thought. "If there isn't, then I can just feed off of some animals." The cyan pegesus soon saw the hospital and relized something. How were the other vamponies going to react to his departure.

 

"You should be fine, at least until night, that is." Tempest's mental image of himself said.

 

The cyan pegesus then rolled his eyes and facehoofed. He would've yelled, by the muzzle prevented his mouth from moving much. He then glared at his own mental image, which happened to be in the direction of Crimson.

Golden Age stepped in "If Ye'll pardon me sir" he said sarcastically to Tempest, making the nuzzle as 'snug' as possible. "Don't want it come off now do we?" He positioned himself behind cyan with his bayonet fixed, ready to escort him as though he was a prisoner

Thunder looked at the room twilight was in, he felt the urge to knock on her door. He felt afraid that she would do something like inflict pain, or demand him to do something he did not want to. He sighed and knocked on the door.

 

The sun was now up and shinning bright, it is now noon.

Wonder examined the blood. He'd noticed that the fully developed virus had a different pigment than an underdeveloped one. "Hmm..... Curiouser and curiouser." He said writing on a clipboard. 'Well, the raid hadn't exactly got as I'd planned, but so far, it was best case scenario.'

Thunder looked around waiting for twilight to answer. Maybe she was asleep or something, or she didnt want to be bothered by the likes of him, so he walked away.

 

(Oh yeah wonder, and everyone. Tobi can't be seen by anyone, unless he makes himself visible to you, and sole and tobi are in another dimension)

Tempest entered the hospital and sat in the lobby. "This is starting to get boring." The cyan Pegesus thought, as he read a magazine. "They do realize that I can probably break this muzzle, right?"

 

"I wouldn't exactly do that. You have their trust, so don't lose it. Remember what you're here for."

 

Tempest raised his hoof and punched the mental image. The blow went right through the apparition and created a somewhat large hole in the wall. "They know what the vamponies are capable of. Why do you think they are even concerned about a bloody cure!" The cyan Pegesus yelled, mentally.

 

The mental image rolled it's eyes. "If they wanted you dead, they would have killed you already."

 

Tempest sighed and went for a stroll around the hospital.

Golden Age kept Tempest in the corner of his eye, watching him like a hawk. He walked briefly took his eyes off of him to go talk to Wonder. "Wonder, Tempest is here. Should I keep him out of the ICU or...?" he said trailing off, waiting for the scientist to answer.

"Are you damned mad? What kind of host muzzles their guest?" He says unbinding Tempest. "Great to see you friend. Are you ready to figure this all out?" He asks him and sweeps back his own, now whitened mane. 'I don't care if Tempest's a vamp, I've known him forever, and we owe each other our lives.' he thought to himself. 'In a sense, he's like a brother.'

Tempest rearranged some of the bones in his jaw and nodded. "Yeah, sorry about the hole. I've been seeing a mental image of my unifected self. Apparently a small portion of my brain hasn't been infected yet. It may be due to something that happened during my birth or something, but I would rather have a MRI just to be sure. As for the cure,I don't have any idea on how to get rid of the this." The cyan Pegsus then did a backflip behind Crimson and retrieved his swords. "I'll be taking those back now."

Golden Age cocked the hammer of his musket "Do we really wanna do that?" He said. "This baby fires a .58 caliber minie ball, it shatters bone, you'd be horrifically maimed if it hit you in the hoof!" He charged his bayonet, somewhat expecting the vampony to charge him.

"That's just something you'll have to discuss with a neurologist. You're the best that we have, seen as how you studied up on it a bit before your infection." He said overlooking the clipboard. "Well, I've isolated that the virus is purely circulatory. Also, it seems to change somehow after development. The coloration is different." He calibrates the microscope. "Take a look." He seemed oblivious of the goings on about him. He didn't seem worried about a thing.

Tempest nodded and looked under the microscope. What he saw shocked and surprised him. "Yeah, the bloods a different color." He muttered to himself. "It also seems to be controlling the host pony, almost like a neurax worm for the blood. This wasn't even in any of my books. You still have to scan my, or Sole's brain, seeing as we are the only available vamponies. We have to know how or if the infection controls the brain." The cyan pegesus the relized he forgot to mention a important detail. "Wonder, we have to find this cure. Luna's a vampony."

"What!? Fair Luna...a vampony?" He frowned and looked away "By Celestia, we musn't rest until a cure is made, and I will not rest until the fair Luna breaths in the air of health!"

 

He turned back and chuckled "Sorry..I erm...got a tad carried away there" He said, his cheeks blushing.

"I know. When I was in the empire I came to a realization..." He took a long pause. "... we really are the LAST survivors. We..... we're going extinct." He said folding up the glasses he was wearing and hanging them from his fatigues. He walked downstairs toward the diagnostics ward. "Take off any metal. Lie here." He says patting the CT Scanner.

Golden Age followed Wonder down and posted himself near the doorway. He didn't deem Tempest as much of a threat anymore, thus he propped his musket against the wall and watched the scientist preform his work, though he made sure his piece was at the half cocked and close by in case the vampony tried any moves

Tempest glanced at Goldie and shrugged. "I've had threats against my life before. It comes with my job." He said. "You also probably knew this already, but Twilight, Rainbow, and probably the rest of the elements of harmony are Vamponies." The cyan pegesus grit his teeth as a flame of anger grew in his eyes. If those monsters touch my sister..." The cyan pegesus didn't finish the sentence, but he did take off his armour and swords. He allowed Wonder to do the CT.

His mind drifted to his own family. His brother, his parents. A tear rolled down his cheek and he merely wiped it away. It didn't really matter right now, he could fix it.... for everyone. He just continued along with the CT and looked at the results from his other tests. "Hmm, how is she?" He wondered aloud.

Out of all this thunder watched from behind put in the hallway of the CT, scanning room. He watched them silently. He wasn't sure if he should pounce, kill. And make friends. His hunger was controlling him right now, not his mind. He watched his prey slowly.

Tempest sighed. "I honestly don't know. I haven't seen her since the outbreak." The cyan Pegesus sighed. "The last time I saw her was in Canterlot. We got separated from each other when the virus, or whatever is causing this, turned this into a bloody epidemic." The cyan pegesus then closed his eyes and tried to relax. "I should have done something."

 

The mental version of Tempest put a hoof on his shoulder. "We'll get her back. Trust me."

 

The cyan Pegesus did the smart thing and decided to change the subject. "So doc, any new information from the scan?" He asked, still not moving.

Golden Age decided to head out for fresh air, watch the sky and be alone with his thoughts. He did that at times to calm his mind "I'm going fer some air, be back" he said walking out, toting his musket on his shoulder. 

 

He didn't notice Thunder hiding in the shadows of the hallway.
