@Krein @Super Derpy "I was flying over to take care of my family and I suddenly heard you talking about Cadence. Then, I fell because I was distracted by your conversation." She walked up to everypony. "I'm also not a Cadence supporter. Oh and by the way thanks for getting me outta that tree.Oh yeah! I forgot to introduce myself! I'm Shooting Star!" she said.

(We're kind of a bit past the whole introductions and stuff... right now we're actually forming the beginning of the anti-Cadence alliance. Want to just make a really long post of her explaining her abilities and then agreeing to the alliance contract?)

Acheron continued to wait for the others to put their hooves forward, studying their expressions to see if they would join or not. He hoped they would hurry, Curse's display of power no doubt attracted unwanted attention....

((Just a quick update))

"Wait a minute. I've signed contracts before. This one is... different. There's a sort of energy radiating from it... dark energy. I've used dark energy for long enough to detect it." He looked at Acheron questioningly. "I've never needed to trust anypony before. But now, I need to know that I can trust you."

Acheron gave a smirk and nodded. Curse was much more perceptive than he had realized at first.

"Right you are. This contract is... binding, the violation of its rules, its tenets for our forming alliance being punishable by death, and even worse..."

Acheron pulled it closer to himself and then began to read its terms. He had to admit that he was a bit excited for this, it had been long since he had formed such an agreement with others.

"Its rules and our tenets are as follows:

One, the betrayal of an ally within this group is forbidden.

Two, exposing the purpose, missions, locations, and members of this group is forbidden.

Three, abandoning the cause of this group is damnable.

Four, sympathizing with our enemy, Mi Amore Cadenza and her allies, as well as anyone directly opposed to us, is forbidden. Unless an enemy shows a true desire to abandon their cause to join ours, you are to silence them for eternity."

There were several more things which Acheron listed and explained, these mainly having to deal with loyalty and how to handle "loose ends". Acheron looked towards the unicorn.

"You can trust me and the rest of the others now. I'll say it again: Join us and we will work to ensure Cadenza's plans fail and eventually bring about her demise. Refuse and you will be dealt with accordingly. Now make your choices..."

Acheron spread out the dark contract once more, its strange hieroglyphics seemingly moving about along the parchment. Acheron spawned a small dagger from his magic, waiting for the others to extend their hooves so that the deal could be finalized.

@@00Pony,

"Well we're going to need enough soldiers to take them down...they're only a small town...but that doesn't mean they wont fight. And we know the biggest problem there..." He growled again and cast his eyes over in the direction of the train station "...Applejack. That damn princess subject is always visiting in and out of that town, we'll need to catch her there, so she doesn't get word back to Celestia...that's what i'm hoping my spies bring back."

Swordpoint stared at the morning lineup yet again. Dawn Wing, the captain of the guard, was just finishing his speech, and Swordpoint was quite bored. It is a shame that Shining Armor was wed to Cadence. He was certainly less vain than Dawn Wing. Swordpoint glanced at the white pegasus who replaced Shining Armor.

"... and that is why you are the very best, and why you will continue to be the very best!" Dawn Wing finished. "Now! I will turn you over to Swordpoint."

Swordpoint saluted Dawn Wing. "Thank you. Good morning, ponies! Today, you will perform your basic training regiment. This does not require my presence, which is fortunate for me. I have other business to attend to." He skimmed through the ranks. "Will the following please report to me at once! Fiera! Golden Age! Phylomon!" He stood and waited for them to approach.

((Shall we pretend that this is after Acheron has propsed the offer once again this morning? Otherwise, it kind of cuts the conversation short, with the time warp to the next day.))

"Bloodbinding, eh? Sounds interesting. Just as I've never had to trust anpony before, I've never signed a contract that will result in me getting killed if I don't follow the rules. Which probably explains why I've usually killed ponies whom I've signed a contract with." He pondered over this problem for a minute. "How long does the agreement last?"

Curse smiled at this.

This is your chance to get your revenge, he thought. This is your chance to laugh in her face as she takes her final breath...

"If by Cadence's downfall, you mean death, then that's fine. Count me in." He stuck his hoof out. "Like you said, effective immediately."

Acheron smiled.

"It will be the most agonizing death indeed," Acheron said as he drew blood from Curse and the other ponies who had already accepted the contract. He waited to see if the others remaining would do the same. After this was over with, Acheron decided they would immediately get to work looking for a more suitable spot to plan their future operations, as well as training and heightening the abilities of the others.

Sanguine nods, "Looking forward to it. It's been to long since I've had an actual challenge."

He looks up at the sky, smirking slightly, "Times are changing. I'll let my brothers know that we will be performing an act of war soon. I can only hope that your spies return quickly." Sanguine looks to Harmonic, a dark look reflecting in his eyes.

Crimson merely grinned happliy at crystals show of skill, "very good, I probably could do that.....well with some practise, but still, that's very interesting, and for the record, I never saw you as a weak, homeless pony, but you do need to fill in some if you want to improve your speed..." said crimson mischeviously, before holding up one of crystals pictures and grinning, "if you do, you could be even faster than me, tell me, did you notice me take i? I would be surprised if you did, before i was i pirate, i used to be a professional theif, and don't worry, I didn't plan on stealing it, just using it to prove a point..." said crimson, before tossing the picture back to crystal.

Crimson then turned to look at acheron, "I can also read auras....everyones aura is visible to me right now..." crimson then leaned closer to acheron, "do you have somthing to say to everyone acheron?" Asked crimson, referring to acherons aura.

((Krein, please don't be mad at crimsons revealation, he really does have that power, and I figured that since acheron uses dark magic, then his aura should have a dark feel to it...))

(Wow I didn't even catch this! If you edit your post to refer to me, be sure to notify me so that I won't ignore it! Either way, it's fine I guess, though I would've preferred to have revealed it later.)

Acheron had ignored Crimson's comment and referred only to his statement on the forming alliance.

"Oh no, this isn't the beginning of an army. What we are forming now shall operate in secret, in the shadows. Even a small group like this can bring down the mightiest of leaders, as seen in the ancient empire of Rome when Cassius and Brutus plotted murder against Caesar. However, that does not mean you'll be deprived of inflicting some sort of... theatrical kill on future targets..."

@@00Pony,

"Happy to hear you're enthusiastic as always" Harmonic replied as he turned and started walking down an alleyway crowded with ponies.

As soon as they caught eyes on him, most of them immediately cleared the streets, diving into their houses or behind the nearest thing they could find. Some of them backed away a little, giving him a nervous look as they did so, however some of them seemed impartial to his presence, standing idly, as if in defiance. He met their gaze with his own, "Cowards...the lot of them" he mumbled to himself as the other ponies scarpered.

@

As Harmonics guards approached the column of smoke, they heard voices from the next street over, as well as the smell of burning...something. Battle ready, the two muscular earth ponies at the front raised their halberds high as the unicorns behind them began sparking up their magic. "Whoever is over there, you have 30 seconds to turn yourselves in!" Bellowed one of the earth ponies as they approached.

_____

Cadence was walking around her palace, pacing the halls and checking things where in order after their little incident with her old assassin. She stationed guards at every door and patrols in every corridor, much to their distaste. There where grumbles of disapproval as they went about their work, but Cadence took no notice. It was on her way back to the throne room, she discovered a bloody message written on the walls of her own palace, it read: "You are damned above all who live in this wretched place, death will come swiftly."

"Always was a charmer, that one." she sighed, thinking it was the work of Curse. As she approached the wall however, she noticed two of her guards lying crumpled on the ground, each with a leg broken off. "That's...not Curse's way. He would incapacitate them, sure...but this?" A wave of anger suddenly flushed over her, and she stormed down the hall, ordering the first guard she saw to clean the wall and dispose of the bodies.

@@Justin ZW,

Fiera sighed and walked over to Swordpoint. 'Guess we start now...' . Based on her expression, it was obvious she wasn't looking forward to training with all these stallions. 'Why are there never any mares in the military? We're just as capable as these boneheads'. She looked over to the grey pony who saluted and spoke first. 'Look at this guy, his whole image screams "Ooo, look at me, i'm so special because i'm a STAAAAAlion, so i'm qualified for the military unlike MAAAAARes". Ugh' she thought and made a disgusted face, forgetting she was with company for a split second.

(Damn it I don't know what to do xD! Is it just the guards by the way?)

Acheron gritted his teeth as he heard the voices of angry guards. He also felt magic energy from their direction, quickly realizing they were preparing to take them down in some unpleasant way.... he left the shadow-spawned dagger floating next to the dark contract, and enchanted it to where it would immediately draw blood from anypony else who accepted the deal.

Acheron stayed close to the walls and shadows, warping them to conceal himself better from the guards. There were two earth ponies and some unicorns.

"Hm, the unicorns would be more of a problem than the brutes over there..."

Acheron wanted to toy with them first, and give some time to the others still in the alley. Small claws of darkness rose from the ground behind the unicorns at Acheron's command. He quietly moved them towards the unicorns and made the claws dig into their flesh, writing a cheesy one word message: "Hello".

(OoC: Well, y'know, I was giving a chance to hide but...don't worry, I got this)

The two mares at the back let out a pained shout, both turning to look at their wounds in unison. Upon realising what had been done, they both let out a slight chuckle, again in unison, before they stamped their back hooves and looked at the front two stallions. "You where taught to ignore pain, or you'll suffer worse at the hands of our master" the stallions where quick to remind them. "Get up there, and see what you can see!"

Instantly, the unicorn mares flashed, and appeared on the roofs of the two houses beside them, their piercing eyes scanning the streets below. The stallions on the ground braced their halberds and continued marching forwards.

(Where's the fun in that :P?!)

Acheron grinned cruely and teleported to the roof as well, materialzing behind them in wisps of dark magical energy. He formed constructs from his magic once again, causing barb wire to wring down tightly on the unicorns' snouts. He then formed two larger claws and used it to slash at the mares, attempting to either knock them off the roof, or to inflict a near mortal wound...

"Ponies these days..." he muttered under his breath, noticing Fiera's expression.

Even in yer own ranks, you can't flee prosecution and discontent fer one another...what the devil has this world come too? He thought to himself. He turned back to his men, watching them practice overhead lunges.

@,

The unicorns looked over the street at each other and gritted their teeth to bear the pain, a tear ran down the cheek of each one, once again almost in perfect synchronization. The claws did their job and knocked them down, causing a loud *thud* on the roof, and a few tiles to slide off one of them, hitting one of the stallions on the back.

With a surprising display of athleticism and dexterity, they too displayed an almost perfect sync as they dived to the opposite side of the street, hurling a throwing dagger each at the black cloud on the roof.

Acheron grunted as he dodged the daggers, going to another shadowy corner to observe the guards. They were definition better trained than when he had last seen them in action, making Acheron realize the others were going to need a lot more training than before.

"I have my ways of quickly increasing abilities, but for now, let's deal with the guards.."

The shadow spawned barb wire around the mares' snouts shimmered slightly as Acheron focused to alter it, increasing its size and causing it to wrap around the unicorns torsos in an eerie snakelike fashion. Acheron allowed it to continue coiling, tightening and biting deeply into the flesh. He grinned as he saw it creep its way to their throats, and then turned his attention to the stallions. They seemed to be preparing to close in on the others since they got hit with tiles, so Acheron headed down their way, again creeping up from shadowy corners of the alleys. He formed some bludgeoning weapons and swung it at their joints to try and cripple them.

Sanura woke up the next morning with a sense of purpose. She packed in her saddlebags everything she thought she needed for the meeting in the afternoon, then went outside into her back garden to train in preparation. The problem with working with military types, she thought, was that they always had a standard, and expected everypony to have reached that. Of course, she was fit and read for anything, but much prefered to use silence and stealth rather than open hooved violence. Sanura did know how to defend herself, but only as a last resort.

(Looks like I gotta save those now, I guess)

ENOUGH! Barked a hoarse voice, familiar to the guards and almost everypony in the kingdom. The mares immediately charged up their horns, firing off a bright light and vanishing, along with the stallions. In an instant, they reappeared at the end of the alleyway, their coats dripping with blood and their armour scratched as they stood either side of Harmonic who was watching the ordeal - who knows how long he'd been there. "Enid, Myra, get yourselves cleaned up" he grumbled, and without a word they both disappeared just as quickly as they'd arrived, leaving Harmonic alone with the guards and this other stallion.

He couldn't see him, but he knew he was there, and he looked straight ahead down the alley, instead of looking around for him. A moment later, he simply turned around and started walking away.

Never really done combat before, Curse thought. Still, I can do as much as I can.

"Bonjour, mes amis!" Curse teleported in front of the guards. He sent two shockwaves from his hooves in the direction of the guards. He then dematerialised just as quickly as he appeared.

Acheron was furious as he felt the magic begin to teleport the guards away. Before they did though, he quickly cut one more message into the bodies of the guards, making sure it would scar forever.

"Hello Cadenza."

Acheron could feel someone watching him, so he quickly teleported from his spot back to the others. He too whisked them away to anothersecluded area (I ddon't know, just go with it).
