Will Twilight's friends retain their resourcefulness?

When you think about it, Twilight's friends were responsible for helping Twilight become a princess. All they had to do was unite under her leadership, and they would train her to unite all of Equestria, as well.

And, we cannot forget about CHS. In the book, Twilight still had to resort to her friends as always, only this time for decisions on how to lead her own kingdom.

So my answer has to be "yes".

Yes, I'm sure they will. I would not, however, enjoy the show as much if all of the mane 6 became Princesses. While the show will no doubt follow Twilight a bit more now, I think her friends will still maintain their resourcefulness.

At this point I am not really sure my self... I would like to hope so.

I do not think they will follow Twilight more throughout the new season. Maybe a little in the beginning we will have some "Twilicorn" centered episodes but after that I think things will go back to the way they were long long ago, in the before time. wink.png

I don't know what this season has in store for us, hell none of us do. But I am excited to be along for the ride with you all wub.png

I highly doubt the focus will be more on Princess Twilicorn. Eventually, once the Twilicorn-centric two-part S4 premiere ends, we will eventually see more episodes geared toward her friends, rather than just Twilicorn alone, much like in past seasons.

After all, in CHS, Twilight said it herself: Princess or no, she and her friends are all equal ponies.

And, we cannot forget about two more books by C.M. Berrow, the same author behind CHS. One will focus on Pinkie Pie and her relationship with her family. The other will focus on Rainbow Dash trying to imitate Daring Do. That means that, even in children's novels, there is STILL an equal emphasis between both Twilight and all of her friends!

I think the first few episodes will be mainly focused on just her, and then go back to normal. The rest of the episodes will be centered on all of them.

This. ^^^^^^^

While there will be more episodes based on Twilight down the line, I see them doing just this. Have the premier center around Twilight to get some of that out of the way then have the rest of the season be in the traditional format.

Honestly, why would the resourcefulness of the other characters go away? They all still have their unique talents. Twilight doesn't just magically gain these same talents just because she is an Alicorn. I can guarantee she cannot fly as good as Rainbow, throw great parties like Pinkie, or create fantastic designs like Rarity. The other characters are still just as important as they ever were. Twilight achieving her destiny doesn't change that.
