Screw Love, screw tolerance and screw haters

The title says it all, if we stay quiet and let these people who worship their "action figures" call us names and do whatever the hell they like with us then we're empowering them and i think it's about time we stopped taking these insults softly.

It's time we fight fire with fire and it's about time they get burnt.

These guys are the definition of low lives since they can't get a girl friend or a life they go online and hunt for someone to blow their steam off on. 

A guy who owns a whole cupboard full of video games and comics has no right and no place to call us nerds or stereotype us into either paedophiles or confused autistic kids.

Bronies are heroes, there are bronies who fight for their country, bronies who give to charity and help those in need yet all these efforts are ignored because you and me are 90 year old pedos who seemingly have no life according to the media in a nutshell.

 

Lets prove people wrong show them that we have a voice and that we will stand up for other bronies and our name whenever the time comes, screw those haters and make them very aware of their own situation and where they stand.

 

Things have only gone so far because we have stood idly by letting this happen, so now it's time to bring it to a halt.  

 

Think about this from their perspective for a moment. o.o; Of course it is perfectly reasonable for them to think we are weird. Heck, if I were in their shoes, and I hadn't been exposed to the brony fandom like I had, I would probably think it was weird too. The only way to get someone to stop being mean to you short of outright silencing them by force is by getting them to stop wanting to be mean to you. D: Being mean to them will just make them think you are... well... mean! And, that will just make them want to be even meaner to you! >,<; I don't mean to be entirely contradictory to your post, but... ._.; well, I guess I kinda am. An argument, if not ended by one side or the other, is a feedback loop.

Haters are going to hate especially against something like mlp cuz it's so easy. All they have to say is "you watch ponies" and who can argue with that. It's the truth. You can't re-argue that. Saying it's a good show will only bring more hate cuz you're just admitting that you not only watch ponies, but you like it. 

But it shouldn't matter. With the anonymity of the internet, it's so easy to get verbally attacked. 

But you gotta choose what's worth getting all worked up for. 

Soon the hater gets bored and retreats back under the bridge. Nothings changed. You're still awesome. So go and continue being awesome, right? It's not like you're alone in all this.

Love and Tolerance lost its meaning a long time ago. However, I feel like you're overreacting just a BIT.

 

I personally tell people I'm a Brony if they ask me, and if they tell me I'm a faggot, I just ignore it. It stops there.

 

Seriously, IGNORING THEM IS THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO. They want you to react. Just ignore them, and let them feel like they've won.

Finding something strange and overreacting by becoming a troll are two very different things, I thought it was very strange that so many  teenagers and adults were into a show about cartoon ponies but I didn't make baseless assumptions about them being basement dwelling overgrown homosexual pedophile man children. It is reasonable to think that bronies are a bit strange if you don't know that much about them but going out of your way to hate on them is a dick move. You are right though it does take two to tango and when it comes to trolls I am not really in a dancing mood.

Guys just because, we devote half of our life into My Little Pony means nothing. Dude the haters are probably people that sit on porn websites eyes wide in amazement. But, what are we doing? The whole love and tolerance thing isn't even what the show teaches at all. If anything it shows that some things shouldn't be tolerated. I always thought that just saying "love and tolerate" was seriously stupid.

If someone calls you a fagot (why are they calling you a cig or bundle of sticks?), a pedo, a loser, or any other term and it's NOT true, then why are you getting so upset? Anyone who actually uses any of these terms as a means of an insult automatically is deducted 50 IQ points, as only an 8 year old resorts to name calling as a means to argue.

 

They can call me what they want, it's fine. It might hurt at first, but I can take it. I don't follow the 'love and tolerate' creed. It's being used as a weapon by some of the more militant bronies. If you want to see what happens when religious zealotry goes too far, Unitology from Dead Space is a pretty good example, albeit fictional.

Seriously.....Seriously! I was the most bullied kid in my grade and I don't think that violence is the answer. I rose above it. I just checked your profile, your 13, I get it that your pissed. I was pretty pissed when I was 13, my life was practically hell. I had no friends and I definitely didn't have the internet to turn to with my problems. I had no one. Most kids(boys) are pricks at 13. People mature man, the bullies will probably disappear once high school hits, no joke, maybe not, maybe I just got lucky. Ignoring them and being mature is the best tool you have. Attacking them will not help, if anything it makes you look worse. I don't believe in "loving" everyone, but I'm still going to try to hold true to tolerating at least, which is realistic. You don't have to be friends, but you can a least deal with them.

 

There is no spear head, there is no final battle, we can't change Society. For haters to stop existing would require no more bullies, which is impossible. There is absolutely nothing we can do but ignore them.

I'll admit I have no life really, all I do is sit on my ass all day on this forum, listen to music, and doodle with my tablet. I have a job a least but that is about it.

Also hate to break it to you, but there are a lot bronies that watch porn too, it's simple biology. Sorry but that is the truth.

 

Basically what you should take away from this is to ascend and be mature. That is your best tool.

Although i agree with you, fighting fire with fire would only fuel there flames and not bring about any real resolution. The best we can do is to just ignore them. Only if they get physically violent will i fight back, otherwise, there words are meaningless.

Sorry but do we really need 13 year olds whinging about how they're going to get vengeance or fight back? These type of comments not only show how the haters have gotten to you, that you can't control your emotions, have a lack of maturity, but that also you don't know that love & tolerate MEAN. You don't love & tolerate trolls and haters, no one ever said that is what that phrase should be used for. They should simply be ignored. Love & toleration is what you do for fellow bronies and for people who haven't decided that they hate your guts. But an eye for eye is not the answer if they do intend on bothering you

Seriously don't even worry about haters. There's always gonna be people that don't like what you like. And some of those people are going to be vocal about it. Just ignore them, most will get bored after a while. Getting into a fight with them isn't going to solve anything, they're still gonna hate the show, they'll probably hate you specifically now too and you're just going to make a bad reputation worse when they tell other people about the argument.

I still don't think the haters are that big a deal. We just gotta leave the stereotype that mlp fans are hot headed. Everyone's entitled to an opinion and if haters think that we're weird, that's their problem.
