Hello, everypony! This is the roleplay thread for my newest RP, Friendship is Monstrous [Adventure]!! Here is the link for the sign-up thread: http://mlpforums.com/topic/62483-friendship-is-monstrous-adventure/  Here we go for roleplaying:

 

Epic Rainbow sadly walked to the store to get some carrots, though she knew they would close the store because of her. Everypony ran out of her way in a frightened manner. Nopony accepted Epic Rainbow just because she was a vampony. She was still friendly, but there was no point. Everypony is  afraid of her becuase they thought she would bight them. She is lonely every day of her life. In fact, she's clinically depressed. Nopony wanted to help her though, for obvious reasons. "Nothing new," she sighed. "They're always closed when I come. One of these days, I'm gonna starve and it's gonna be their fault!"

at the same time epic rainbow was trying to buy some food, repsol rave was sobbing somewhere deep in the everfree forest.

he knew that with being a zompony no big predators like manticores would try to hunt him, he was made entirely out of rotten flesh, who would eat that?

he just recently lost one of his fore legs in an terrible accident, involving some falling boulders and 3 little filly's who wouldn't stop shouting "cutie mark crusaders monster hunters!"

now, with only 3 legs, he lost the one thing he ever cared about.

speed.

he couldn't run anymore, all he was able to do was just an awkward kind of hopping.

knowing that sitting there crying wouldn't save anything, he got himself up on his wobbly three legs.

as he started walking to ponyville he silently made a wish.

"i wish there would finally be someone i can call friend in this town.."

 

( i just read the sign-up thread again, and i saw the rule no extreme violence i promise that losing his leg is the only violence i'll post, i just did not know another way for him to have just 3 legs. sorry about this.)

In his volcano home, Igneous nudged around some molten rocks before he would have to go to Ponyville again. Nopony accepted him there because they were too afraid to talk to a dragon hybrid. He stretched his leathery wings and took to the air, for it was time for his monthly trip to the small town. He usually went at night and stole from shops, but today he felt a little rebellious. He was abandoned as a child because some wierdo pony had a "fun night" with a smaller breed of dragon, thinking that ponies and dragons couldn't produce offspring together. When the mother had the child and it turned out to be a hybrid, the father threw it into an inactive volcano. Nowadays the volcano erupts annually but the dragony took his father's lava resistant trait and could survive the eruptions. He was thinking about what he would steal from the small pony town when he realized it was right below him. He saw one pony that everyone seemed to avoid and felt an odd presence around her, and he flew down to investigate, leaving all sense of stealth in the clouds

upon getting into a more clear and open part of the everfree forest, repsol thought he could see a small object coming out of the sky.

it didn't seem like any pegasi he had seen though, but not like a griffon or a dragon either.

he harshly snapped out of his daydream as he stumbled over some tree roots that stuck out of the ground, getting his face planted in the dirt beneath him.

"buckin' legs!" he shouted as he got up again with great effort.

he walked (or stumbled) a bit more, until he could see ponyville through the trees.

"okay rave, play it cool. maybe these pony's will be friendly to pony's like me" he muttered to himself.

as he came closer to ponyville, he spotted some kind of commotion forming in front of what seemed to be one of the town's shops.

"what the hay? i've never seen so much worried faces."

as the words leaved his lips, a yellow mare with a smooth pink mane seemed to notice him.

as she turned around, repsol froze dead in his tracks as he spotted the expression of utter terror on the mare's face.

"oh please celesti-" he was cut off by a loud, high pitched scream erupting from the mare. who turned and gallopped away at an amazing speed.

"whell, that was a good start" he said mostly to himself.

as regret of going into the town began to form in his mind, he started walking deeper into ponyville,weirdly enough never encountering anypony.

it was as like they where avoiding him.

Darkshift glanced into the sky when he suddenly became shocked to see a mysterious unexplainable creature flying in the sky.He shook his head and carried on trotting through the village until he noticed a crowd of ponies all travelling away from the local fruit store, he managed to hear faint whispers "Keep walking,she'll bite,do you think she sore us?"This was starting to make Darkshift paranoid as he thought"Mysterious flying creatures,a creature that will bite what if ponies get suspicious start asking about what happens when the moon goes down"Darkshift took deep breaths and attempted to investigate more about the creature which bites.He began to journey towards the Vampony.

At the same time, Igneous landed next to the pony with the strange feeling about her. The pony looked at him in wonder, and Igneous realized his foolishness and stepped back a bit. "Oh, uh, I'm sorry. Please don't scream, um, i'll just, uh, leave now..." The dragony faces the other direction and starts to spread his wings

Rain Chaser was sitting on a little storm cloud, a little way away from the town, when she noticed the commotion. Usually if there was any commotion going on, it normally involved, singing, or dancing or the occasionally Everfree forest creature that wandered in. Not wanting to be left out of the events, although when she came around everypony tended to cease their fun and run for the hills. But Rain Chaser had a particularly good feeling about the day, and continued on to the town.

 

What she saw, surprised her to say the least. A single pony was standing in the middle of town and every other pony was giving her a wide berth!

"What in the wide world of Equestria is going on here?" she said to herself, as she approached the lone pony. As she approached another pony came to stand beside the first pony and Rain Chaser noticed that they looked a little odd. Not that she was one to speak, she was a ghost after all.

 

When she was near enough to the two ponies, she briefly debated on how she should make her presence known. Should she say "Hi"? Should she crack a joke? Say 'boo'? She dismissed those thoughts and opted to just stand and stare.

upon finally entering the 'center of attention' repsol saw what it was all about. in front of him stood 3 creatures, one who looked like he was ready to take of with his leathery wings,one with a very pale skin and what looked like thangs in her mouth, and finally..

"ah.....AH GHOST!?" he screamed.

now suddenly he found himself the center of attention.

not really comfortable with the stares of the creatures, repsol turned to run away, only to finda that he was trying to stand on a leg that he didn't have anymore.

his face buried deep in the ground with a very loud and painfull * thump! for the second time that day.

"getting real tired of this..." he muttered mostly to himself, as he got back on his wobbly three legs with great effort.

Igneous stopped and looked at Respol. "You're a... a.. a zombie!?" Igneous started walking over to the three-legged pony. By this time, everypony had already left because four monsters in one place was too much for them. Oddly there was a black pegasus off to the side who was still there. He noted the pegasus while walking to Respol. "Oh, um.. hi?" Again, Igneous' curiosity had gotten the best of him and he didn't know what to say to the zombie.

(It's fine because it's not extreme violence. It's just minor violence that caused him to lose a limb. Also, everypony, Epic Rainbow lives in Cloudsdale, not Ponyville. And, Epic Rainbow is neon purple with a rainbow mane and tail. So just keep all that in mind.)

Epic Rainbow looked up to see some more ponies looking at her and she quickly thought about what to do. Should I smile and say hi? she thought to herself. She decided to just say hello. "Uh...umm..Hi..." she said shyly. The ponies looking at her looked like a dragon pony, a zombie pony with only three legs, a ghost pony, and a werepony. She smiled, but then looked at her hooves and shuffled her hooves in the clouds.

"Oh, uh, hi there." Igneous looked at the pony with the odd presence about her. He noticed two little fangs peeking out from under her mouth. "You're a... a vampony!" Igneous knew he shouldn't be one to judge, for he was also a monster. But he was still surprised to see that there were other monsters like him. "I'm Igneous and, um, i guess you can tell i'm a dragony.." he gave a sheepish grin.

 

(Ooc: well i think everyone assumed that she lived in Ponyville so maybe she should just live there for this rp. Also i think Darkshift mentioned that he only turned into a werepony at night, so currently we don't know that he is one. He's just off to the side.)

Rain Chaser, upon seeing that nearly everypony in the middle were introducing themselves stepped forward. "Hi there!" she said brightly. "I'm Rain Chaser, and I'm a ghost but not like a scary ghost! Like a nice one!" She blabbered.

 

During her cheery introduction, she took the time to take in everyone else's appearance. The pony who had been in the middle first was a really bright shade of purple with a rainbow mane, which wasn't very odd, except for the fact that she had...Fangs? Then there was a pony who looked like he could have been a pegasus but his wings were like bat wings! Another pony had just fallen to the ground due to the fact that he only had three legs.

 

"Oh gosh!" she exclaimed floating over to help him, well attempt too. "I'm sorry! I would help but, I'm a ghost and uh, I'm not very good at holding solid things!" she apologized.

after some struggle he got back up, and could finally really see the other pony's around him. 

every pony had somethign strange. one was clearly a ghost, seeing her hoofes just went through him.

one looked like a dragon, but also like a pony. he never saw something like that before.

the purple one looked like a normal pony at first, but then he saw the fangs.

the one that stood out the most was oddly enough the one  that looked like a normal pony.

cofused by seeing a normal pony in between al these monsters, he asked the first thing that came in his mind.

 

"hey, i'm sorry but arn't you supposed to be running away in complete and utter terror?" he asked as polite as possible.

"Yea I noticed him too. Why don't you look that scared like the other ponies?" Igneous' keen dragon-like senses felt an odd presence about the black Pegasus as well. He could tell it wasn't like Epic Rainbow's presence, and he didn't see any fangs. "What are you? Don't try to lie I can tell you aren't a normal pony." He gave Darkshift a glare.

 

(Ooc: yea sorry repsol. The first time i read your name I read it as respol.)

ic: "I'm not afraid of anything," Epic Rainbow sighed. "In fact, everypony is afraid of me. I'm a vampony, you know." Epic Rainbow shuffled her hooves in the dirt. Epic Rainbow looked up at the other monster ponies and suddenly felt like she wasn't alone. She felt like she wasn't the only misfit in Ponyville.

When Darkshift didn't reply, Igneous sighed and looked at the vampony. "Yea I noticed. I got a strange feeling when i saw you, and then i saw your fangs when i actually saw you up close. The sense thing is just a perk of being part dragon." The dragony looked around the town with sudden realization. "Um, maybe we shouldn't be here. Like maybe we should find a more secluded area?" He ended the statement with a question tone to show it was a request. When the others nodded, he looked over at Darkshift. "Hey you! You're coming with us too, cuz i can still tell that you're like us."

The little werepony trotted idly in the street, spotting all the other monster ponies. Dr. Grayburn (a.k.a "Spidey") perked his ears attentively, not sure why the others had gathered. Nothing really bothered him about being a werepony, except where nights got real uncomfortable and the instinct to transform was all too tempting... but this was his own personal experience. So, upon sniffing a fellow werepony among the group, Darkshift, he wondered how common wereponies were amongst Ponyville. Strangely enough, Spidey wasn't bothered by the flying bat pony nor the vamppony. Not even the zombpony. In truth, he didn't really know what they were, and he was too young to really fear anything. If he was a monster himself, how could he fear monsters beneath his bed?

 

"Hai..." the colt crawled up, his hooves extended on all sides like a real "spider". No one seemed to notice him, his voice was so low and quiet; Sometimes Dr. Grayburn felt it a waste of breath to introduce himself, especially if the ponies were just gonna run away from him. The colt had playfully tried to make friends while in werepony form, which did not go well at all. Spidey felt the fur on his back grown taller, like blades of grass, and sway in the breeze. Spidey felt his fangs grown out. He shook himself, remembering not to turn into a werepony despite how much fun as it may seem to do so right this moment.

 

Dr. Grayburn stared up at the ponies in an odd daze, grinning sheepishly as his hooves shrunk back to their normal height- which was still pretty long for a colt his age.

Rain Chaser floated near the black pegasus, giving the three legged pony and the leather winged pony a disappointed look. "What does it matter if he's running or not?" she asked, exasperated. "That's supposed to be a good thing." she pointed out. She then turned to the pony who had identified herself as a vampony. "Everypony is afraid of me too," she sighed "Even though I used to be friends with a lot of them.." she trailed off, when she noticed a long legged colt approaching them.

 

"Hello there!" she exclaimed, floating over to him eagerly.

Igneous sniffed the air. "Hmmmm... interesting. This colt and that black pegasus share the same presence about them. I think this colt is   like us, and he's whatever he is." He says the final part of his sentence while pointing at Darkshift. Igneous glances at the colt. "Um, hi there..." He steps cautiously towards the small pony.

"oh yeah, i'm sorry i'm just not that...social" repsol said, realizing his mistake.

no wonder nobody wanted to be friend with a zompony like him.

after realizing his gazing, he stepped over to the others to introduce himself.

"well.. i think i should introduce myself too? my name's repsol rave, but you can just call me repsol. i'm a zompony if you havn't noticed already." he said with a sheepish grin.

"so" he said, turning to the colt with the abnormally long legs.

"who are you if i may ask?" 

the question came with a warm smile of what was left of his lips and teeth.

"Hi," the werepony had greeted Rain Chaser and Igneous back.

"Well, I'm Dr. Grayburn, but most ponies call me Spidey, for some reason....," Dr. Grayburn replied to Repsol Rave, unfazed by the zompony's scary appearance. He seemed to go into a light trance of thought, before remarking to Darkshift, "Hey, you smell kinda like meh. What are you?" Up to this point, all the pony had picked up was that Repsol was a zombpony and barely much else. His attention quickly snapped back to the other ponies. Spidey picked up a strange mixture of scents around him of different monsters, yet he didn't know which scent belonged to which pony. His sense of smell was keen, but underdeveloped. 

 

"S-So, a... vampony, zompony, dragony... and a ghost?" Dr. Grayburn murmured to himself, looking at each pony. Being the cryptoloogy geek he was, it wasn't hard to guess who was what. He looked at his hooves and shuffled them in the ground, perplexed. Spidey thought there were only wereponies and ghosts, but not much else.... He never believed in zomponies, nor vamponies, just the Locket Ness monster, BigHoof, and the New Neigersy Devil.

 

The colt smiled. "Oh, and, uh, I'm a werepony. D-Don't ask." He really didn't want to go into his whole "life story" as to how he came to be, he felt like he just was. Spidey didn't feel the need to demonstrate his werepony form-- he figured not running from this group of odd ponies was enough to show he wasn't like other ponies.

Igneous' eyes lit up. "Werepony! That's it! Spidey and this black pegasus must both be wereponies!" He had a look of triumph on his face. Then realization struck. "Oh, I uh, haven't introduced myself yet. Um, my name is Igneous and I think you all know what I am by now." He looked back at Dr. Grayburn. "Um, why is your name Doctor? I mean like, you're just a colt and um, colts aren't exactly doctors." He smiled at the foal.

Spidey giggled at Igneous'es triumph, as it was radiating onto the colt as well. Dr. Grayburn rubbed his chin. The light green colt was still on the ground, his limbs splayed out, the most comfortable laying positition for him; hence the nickname "Spidey". Oddly enough, his legs would grow longer when he transformed.

 

"I don't know," the werepony murmured after a pause, "I think it's because nopony knows my first name, 'cept me. Not even my mama, nor my papa." Spidey gasped, going into a short trance of some distant memory. His breath grew shaky; he whispered to himself, hardly audible, "Where are they? Ma..... Papa...." The pony stared at the ground for a few moments, perplexed once more.

 

The colt shook himself out of the trance, standing on all four hooves, "I only remember my name is that of the name of a famous scientist, surgeon, or somethin'. Not quite sure... but I know I'm not suppos' to reveal my first name--- I can only remember someone tellin' me somethin' real awful to me, yet... I don't know why he would say....."

 

For a moment, he seemd to rack his brain for the name of the strange fellow who told him such a thing. It was a cruel thing to say, he remembered, and it had even given him a gruesome nightmare, he recalled, but he didn't have a memory of what exactly the stallion had said nor what the stallion's name even was. It was wierd that he couldn't remember, so Spidey just idly looked up, "I know I'm not a Doctor, but it's kinda ironic 'cuz I like to learn alot and dissect animals in zoology... W-Wait, I went ta zoology class?" the colt chuckled, "I  don't know why, but it seems I'm suffering from, uh, am-amne-nesia....? I don't know what happened exactly ..."

Darkshift whispered to his fellow strange breeds of pony " Are you all trying to get yourself killed"Darkshift angrily looked at all the ponies "Don't you get it we'll all get judged,we aren't normal,if the royal guard find us I'm afraid we are all as good as the meat we feed upon"

"well let's get somewhere more private then?" repsol suggested.

"maybe we can go to the everfree, i myself have been down there for the last weeks and i never encountered any real dangers."

he pointed a hoof in the direction of the forest
