So I create \ remix music

Hello Everypony...

 

So, my mainstream so far is to remix music, and \ or ponify it.

I have several songs that I am working on currently (thats me... I take on 3 at once... I'm an idiot.).

 

ANYWAY - I currently have 3 songs up, but some are not finito to what I would like (just one... so far).

The first one I remixed was "Viva la Vida". I also had lyrics re-written to it (ponified it). I've posted lyrics below the song in a spoiler. I have not been able to get someone to record it them singing for me, I would, but 1) My recording equipment isn't that great, and 2) I can't sing the song well...

Are you asking for our help to record vocals for you? Also, if you do things that would require outside help for singers and such, you should definitely know about voiceactingalliance.com . Tons of voice actors and singers looking for projects to work on.

Wow, you know I quite liked the Viva La Vida remix, it sounds pretty cool I think. The lyrics seemed to fit into the song pretty well. All if it was to the rhythm and everything.

 

I can't personally sing worth much, so I can't help on that if you are asking for help there, but yeah I was just checking for the sake of it :P.

 

But you sound as though your off to a good start! I wish you good luck!

I think that your cover/remix is nice. The synths are pleasing, and the beat is pretty nice sounding. I can't help much with vocals, but can I just say, I think your instrumental could do with more vocals, and sidechaining the synths to the kick. I usually sidechain the synths to the kick at 10%. I also think the clap could be quieter, so it sounds a little less cleaner.

@ferrousphantom - thanks for the tip, but I may end up getting a friend who has been trained in singing to do it for me, as she is also going to help sing another song I'm creating.

 

@Zygen - thanks!

 

@Otty~ - an instrumental basically means no vocals... so maybe thats why you don't hear any? Anyway, the only song there that should have GOOD vocals is my Babs Seed remix

 

Also, I created the first two songs using the pattern method only on FLStudio, but the Babs Seed one I actually used the tracks... it ended up being easier that way

I've had another look at "This Day Aria", and it seems remixable, but the "Find a Pet" would be pretty hard to do...

 

In other news, I'm currently working on my piano based song "Eternity", so all other songs have been put on hold.

Wow, I don't know if that says enough, but it's all that is coming to my head right now. Both remixes are fantastic, then again, I don't realy know too much about making this kind of music, but I do agree that the clapping in the Viva la Vida Remix could be a little more quiet. I haven't listened to the Babs Seed remix, not yet at least.

I don't particularly listen to piano instrumentals, but I can say that it was another good song. In the beginning it was quite blan and boring, but it picked up fairly fast.

So i was wondering if you could take a piece of crap song and make it good?? Lol, I know you said MAYBE to the requests but I love your music its so COOL. Like, deep and nostalgic and happy!!

Oh, sorry. I haven't actually been able to listen to it, due to my internet being really really slow.

You've got an amazing voice, far better than me. The way you sing is really well done, and you don't seem to go off pitch (which, disappointingly, I do). You keep the rythm there well, although I feel like you could slow it down a bit.

You have my full permission to change whatever you want. That song is so clumsy, the only reason i havent trashed it is because its so close to what i want. But I just want it to be better, and i don't think i have the ability to change it....So yeah! Go for it! <3 Also thanks <3
