Celestia is a mix of Mane Six

I just noticed that Celestia is a mix of all good traits of Mane Six, while she doesn't have any bad traits. She is also superior in every aspect. She's my favourite and beloved character and it is my biggest dream to be her, because I always wanted to be a kind and beautiful mare. So, why do I think that she's a mix of mane six?

Magic: She's the strongest and most powerful pony, probably only weaker than Sombra.

Loyalty: She's extremely loyal because she is loved by all ponies in the show. She keeps her promises and would fight to death for every pony.

Honesty: She never lied in the show, even once.

Laughter: Every time when Equestria is not in danger, she is very happy. She is also very laid back and slow to get angry. Also, she is obsessed with cakes, like Pinkie.

Generosity: Because nothing is more important to her than the happiness of ponies, she is very caring. We never saw any poor or homeless pony because she is so caring.

Kindness: She is even kinder than Fluttershy, very polite, and very gentle.

While this is a perfect recipe for a mary sue, I don't agree that Celestia is one. Remember that she is over 1000 years old, so she is emotionally developed and grown up. Also, it is implied that only the kindest ponies can be princesses.

So that's why she is my favourite character. I think that everyone here would love to hug her.

Huh, I never really thought about it that way. I always liked Celestia more than Luna because I found her appearance more appealing and found her voice more relaxing than Luna's

Well i dunno, I can't really see much of any flaws in her, doesn't mean I dislike her, she just doesn't seem to have any.

I guess maybe the fact she likes cake, and just wants to have a good time and not have her subjects be intimidated by her could count, but otherwise she is a very wise pony, which being 1000+ years old kinda does to ya I guess :P.

Celestia is cool though, but I really don't find her to have much of any flaws, maybe digging deeper with her, but then some of it becomes more headcannon then anything.

Guess her lack of screentime is part of the reason, or developing screentime, but its hard to develop after your as old as Celestia I guess.

It seems fairly obvious otherwise how else would she able to wield the Elements of Harmony? Of course that begs the question. Is having those traits the sole factor in whether one can wield the Elements of Harmony or just A Element of Harmony or are their loopholes or other qualifying traits? Also remember Luna herself was able to wield at least 1 of the Elements of Harmony as shown in The Return of Harmony Part 1:

Before he is directly introduced, the six leading characters witness the effects of his power in Ponyville. Inexplicably, things begin acting irregularly, such as clouds made out of cotton candy that move of their own accord, chocolate milk pouring down from the sky as if it were rain, and animals that behave uncharacteristically and spontaneously change shape. Princess Celestia explains to Twilight Sparkle and her friends that Discord is the spirit of disharmony in a way similar to Cheerilee's teaching.[note 2] He caused unrest and unhappiness throughout all of Equestria forEarth poniesunicorns and pegasi alike. Princess Celestia and her sister, Luna, rose up against Discord and used the Elements of Harmony to turn him to stone. However, since she and Luna are no longer connected to the Elements of Harmony, the spell imprisoning Discord has broken and he has escaped from his stone imprisonment.

That last part is especially important. No matter how much Celestia and Luna embody the traits found in the Elements of Harmony now, they have lost their connection to them. The question that we need to look forward to as the show progresses is how and why?

As her and Luna once wielded the elements of harmony this does make sense, I do prefer Luna over Celestia though not because I don't like Celestia but because we are yet to see all that much of her outside of her roles as mentor and ruler or too much about her relationship with Luna. Luna on the other hand has been shown to have a powerful redemption story and struggles to fit into mainstream pony society where many of the ponies still fear and hate her. Celestia has a great deal of potential as a character, she just needs to be fleshed out a bit more.

Do have a good point good sir, never really got to think of it that way and there is a lot of little things to help back all this up so who knows maybe you are 100%! about all of it

I like Celestia as well, but I prefer how she's usually portrayed in fanfiction. There, she is more flawed but still generally has the traits you mentioned.

We could see more of the Royal Sisters if Hasbro decides to do the side-show of their childhood. That would be pretty cool.

Yeah, she really does embody the mane 6's traits well. As a result she's probably the character on the show with the least quirks, which isn't a bad thing but I don't think it would hurt her to be a little less flawless. :P

I like all your points. Celestia isn't perfect, though, as you may agree. She couldn't defeat Chrysalis. Princess Cadence and Shining Armour had to. I've always liked Celestia and she is one of my favourites.
