Crimson laid on his knees next to twinkle's body, tears streaming down his face as he cradled her head in his arms, "violet...violet happened...she came and killed twinkle...my own sister just came here...and murdered my oldest friend in cold blood...she didn't even hestitate...she even laughed...SHE LAUGHED!!" Yelled crimson in rage and pain, his body shaking with anger.

Cosmo was silent for a moment before saying, "That sounds more like your father Crimson. I doubt your sister could do something like that but the buck isn't above controlling others to mess with you... C'mon man, aren't we close to his island by now? We've come too far and lost too much to stop... We'll grieve when your father is dead. He won't stop for us so we can't either. Looking at everyone who was still with them, Cosmo thought about Coral, and the others who'd been lost. "Coral is the only one I can hope is still alive. She's best in the water but the others died to get us here... We have to finish what they helped us start." Altair could feel Cosmo's determination and made his own decision. " I think Cosmo is ready to learn that technique..."

(If we're nearing the end of your RP, I'd better finish planning my RP lol. That technique I mentioned is going to be potentially important in my RP, but I'm mentioning it now to connect this RP as a character evolution for Cosmo.)

Crimson closed his eyes and sighed before finally nodding, he then slowly layed twinkle's head down gently to the ground, rising to his hoovs and tilting his hat over his eyes, "umbra will pay for this...with his life...I'm though with playing his games...I've lost too many crewmembers and freinds to let that soulless son of a bitch win...let's go find the others and end umbra once and for all!" Said crimson encouragingly, tilting his hat up to reveal the eyes of a leader, ready to give his life to save his allies.

"The moon at our backs and the wind in our sails, the stars will be done. We will find your farther and deliver justice," she murmurs, "Come, your friend deserves a proper burial. She may not have believed in the Path, but she must continue her own. These are the words of the heavens and my heart." She marked a a square of ground, and erected a stone. She mournfully took out a chizle and gave it to Crimson. "Carve the words you wish her to be known by while I hallow the grounds."

Crimson took the chizle and looked at it for a long moment, before finally kneeling down and began chizling his final message to twinkle into it. Crimson sat there chizling for a few moments until he finally put the chizle down and backed away, the stone read, "my first love and the first pony to see me as a hero" crimson bowed his head solemnly and held outthe chizle, "anyone else want to say anything?" Asked crimson quitely.

Lyth’s eyes glowed as the letters changed to runes. Though the letters were different, the meaning was the same and they seemed to give off power. The area around the grave sprouted a few silvery flowers. A circle of runes blazed into the hillside; a charm warding against evil influences and natural decay. The hill would stay the way it was for a long time to come. "It was the best moonshine I ever tasted," she mumbles almost inaudibly.

Swordpoint saw Sole's wing, but stifled his reaction. "Come. Crimson and the others are nearby. There has been a... casualty." He led Sole to where Crimson stood over the makeshift grave. He listened as Crimson poured his heart out, and the memory of Rainbow's death at the hands of Frostbite flooded into his mind. He felt tears sting his cheeks, out of pure empathy for his brother's pain.

 

Rainbow glanced at Swordpoint and saw this. She understood why he was crying immediately, and she couldn't stop herself from doing the same. She stepped forward and spoke aloud. "I didn't know her, but I know that nopony deserves to go out like this. Especially not when... when..." She began to sob, and fought for control.

 

Swordpoint walked calmly to her side and held her hoof in his. "Especially not when there are those who care so deeply for them." He cleared his throat and continued, his voice wavering. "I wish you well, Twinkle. Death is not the end... and I know this to be true." He let go of Rainbow's hoof and, surprisingly, embraced Crimson. "I understand the pain, Crimson... I know how it feels to lose the one thing you love more than anything. You know that I died to save Rainbow, once... but I have never told you that I did so because she was murdered in front of my eyes. The pain I felt then... I cried for the first time in my life. I would never wish this upon anyone."

 

Rainbow watched, now under control of herself. "We both know what it's like, Crimson. And we won't rest until he pays for what he's done. We're family, now, and we're with you no matter what happens."

 

(OoC: Just want you to understand how strange it is for both of them to pour themselves out like this. It's obvious why for RD, but Swordpoint is usually fairly reserved, as Crimson has seen. In fact, this would be the second time he's ever cried. Just think about how much they empathize with Crimson to cause them to get like this.)

Sole was shocked to hear about the death of a friend, and saddened to hear it was twinkle. As he saw the grave he broke into tears, this was almost exactly like... like sky's funeral. The emotional ties that blended together at that moment made him forget the pain of the poison, and remember the pain of the loss. If that ever happened to stone, he'd never forgive himself. And the way he saw it it was all his fault... he got her killed because of him delaying swordpoint with his petty rageswings. They might have changed things and saved her, if he hadn't snapped, just like with sky.

Cosmo's eyes watered but tears didn't come out, too much emotion from his past to release now. "Umbra shall bleed my tears, and those of everyone else he's hurt." Cosmo decided darkly.

Crimson couldn't hold in his tears any longer, he let them stream down his face but tilted his hat over his face in an attempt to hide it, he had to look strong for the sake of his crew, merely standing there as swordpoint embraced him. After a few moments, crimson finally embraced his brother back, "I never realized you had to watch rainbow die...that must have been agonizing for you...if I ever got the chance, I would sacrifice my life to bring her back just as you did rainbow...but if I know twinkle, then she would want us to finish our adeventure, not sit around and mourn forever...so...in twinkle's honor I say we find our ship, get to the red x, and finish umbra off once and for all...who's with me?!" Asked crimson as he let go of swordpoint and gave his crew a serious, determined, and reassuring stare, looking into all of their eyes.

sole sighed tiredly and stopped her "no stony, you don't need to do any magic right now." He said calmly "save your energy, I'll get it healed later okay?" He said convincingly, before hugging her tightly "I'm sorry stone, I wasn't there to protect and help you like i said I would... I was an idiot, and that's why we've lost so many ponies." He said.

Stone just put her hoof in his lips "shhhhhhh....stop putting yourself down" she said before going back to the mangled wing. Her magic made the wing halfway healed. Just a little bit longer. "Who says your just protecting me, doesn't mean I can't return the favor, or hold my own" she said with a smirk.

Sole just smiled for a moment, before shaking his head "wait stone, you can't heal my wing, it'll just keep deteriorating." He explained quickly "it won't heal yet until I remove the acid." He said, as he felt the acid eat away at it again. He winced in pain, it was nearly unbearable.

"Sonava....." She nodded her head and smiled "still doesn't mean I can't fix it" stones horn glowed again, then the acid dissapeared, completely healing his wing. Then stones leg started to deteriorate. She then winced. "Still...worst spell....EVER!" She said as her leg burned. "Anyone got metal?" She said as her leg burned.

Sole smiled and flexed his wing happily, but as he was about to thank her he spotted her leg. "Stone... you fucking idiot!" He said angrily, as he began to search the ground for some metal "you didn't need to do that, I could've gotten it healed later!" He said, but he was secretly scared for her, and hated himself for being thr cause of the pain. "C'mon, metal metal, where's some damn metal?!" He mumbled angrily.

Stone laughed, then winced "damn this stings....." She sighed "maybe a sword" she touched sword points blade and she instantly turned into iron. "Ok, that should take care of it till we find a way to get it actually healed." She said. She looked over at sole and stuck her metal tongue out.

Instead of getting mad, sole smiled happily. Before anyone could move he rushed over to her and kissed her lovingly, before realizing what he just did. He blushed like crazy and stepped back, before smiling apologetically "uh... sorry stony. I was caught in the moment." He said.

Stone blushed, making her cheeks a copper collor, due to her iron form. She then took a step back and remained silent as it was a little emarrasing for her. She didnt expect that but she didnt care, even if she was made of iron right now. Still made her blush.

"Well... Have you discovered the location of the Blaze of Glory?" Swordpoint asked Crimson. "I did not see any indication of its presence, and I cannot find it with magic, for it has no magical aura."

 

Rainbow frowned. "Oh, Crimson... Your friend, Venom Trace... he was killed by one of those... things. Those numbered ponies."

Crimson nodded, "yes, from what altair has seen, it seems to be washed up at the center of the island, but I don't know what its condition is...hopfully its not too badly damaged, if its totaled then were bucked..." said crimson before turning to rainbow dash with a raised eyebrow, "hmm...did you actually SEE him die?" Asked crimson.

Rainbow thought for a moment. "Well... no... But we didn't get him out of the volcano before that crazy pony exploded and caused it to erupt. There's no way he could've survived that!"

 

A smirk touched Swordpoint's lips. "Then we should regroup and make our way to it. It will be our only means of escaping this island. I cannot cast the wing spell on this many of us, and it would not even last long enough for us to find the Red X... or to return to shore." Swordpoint spread his wings. "I wish to scout ahead. I want to see if the ship is intact, and if there are any more surprises awaiting us there."

Crimson smirked at dash and chuckled, "if you didn't witness him die then trust me, he's fine, I've seen him escape from somthing MUCH deadlier than a volcana erruption, he's a mater of trickery and escaping, so we'll probably see him again here soon enough..." crimson then turned to swordpoint and nodded, "very well, just try to be careful, were not out of this island yet..." said crimson warningly.

Rainbow looked away. "... I hope so. I think we've all seen enough death for one day."

 

Swordpoint nodded and took off, heading for the center of the island. He recognized the Blaze of Glory from a distance, and he descended, landing on the deck. He glanced around, making mental notes of the state of the ship. Overall, it appeared to be largely intact, although there were still holes and broken parts from the sea monster attack. He went below deck to check on the rooms and found that damage there was practically nonexistent.

 

There was a clanging sound, and Swordpoint instinctively ducked as a sword sliced by where his head had been. He rolled and faced his attacker to find a hooded pony wielding a sword. "One of Umbra's followers, no doubt. I have a message for your master. Tell him that we are coming."

 

The hooded pony charged him, and Swordpoint effortlessly sidestepped his strike and plunged his dagger into the pony's neck. As he withdrew it, the pony gasped and fell to the floor. I should return to Crimson... There may be more of these followers, and this one nearly took my head. He made his way back above deck and took to the sky again, heading for Crimson and the others.

 

(OoC: If you don't like the follower thing, I can edit it out. I just thought it would fit well.)
