Does Final Fantasy XIII count? It sounds like everybody hates the game (or just hops on the hate bandwagon). I'm not too sure what people think about Final Fantasy XIII-2, but I also liked that game (less than XIII though).

I felt that Fable III was okay for a few days until I stopped playing it. I had fun when I played it, especially the story line. That was probably the only fun part about it, though.

I also felt Fable III was better than it was recepted. I still vastly prefer Fable II and I, but Fable III definitely wasn't a bad game. It felt a bit more rushed than it's predecessors, but it definitely wasn't as bad as it was criticized to be. It was simply more of a let down compared to other games in the series.

I like Mario's Time Machine. AVGN says this is a bad game, but I honestly don't see what's so bad about it. It's fun (to me) and playable, and I learned things I didn't know.

I really liked Fable III, it was different from the first two, but once I got used to the changes it was fine.

Two Worlds, it got such bad reviews and the guy at GameStop tried to talk me out of buying it because he thought it was bad.  I liked it just fine.  From what I was told though, it was marketed as competition for Oblivion, which really wasn't a fair comparison since it was more like what would happen if Fable and Oblivion had a baby than a rival for the Elder Scrolls games.

Also, the Baldur's Gate games for PS2 and Xbox, many of my D&D friends (and those who played things like Neverwinter) said they were more hack and slash than true D&D.  Whatever, they were still fun to play!
