"the other half being that I can get just as excited, if not more..." he had no intention of falling into that habit, and thankfully his Sister's presence always put him in a more dour mood. "If she wasn't so trustworthy I would not bother following her lead."

  

Ivy nodded. "I hope for his sake that he doesn't." She said, smiling slightly.

Tempest simply smiled. "Oh, no specific reason." He said. "I was just a bit curious. Anyway, I guess I'll see you later, Grey." The cyan pegesus then trotted away, and followed Ivy and Crimson.

Aqua noticed Tempest and trotted beside him. "Something isn't right, I think it may have something to do with that pony you were talking to." She whispered.

Tempest nodded. "I'll keep that in mind. I don't think Blueprick is behind this, though. Dark forces are at work here. That I know." He said.

Crimson growled as he heard aqua's comment, "I don't care if he's responsible or not, if that smug, pansy, pathetic, selfcentered, prettycolt thinks its funny to ignore his own aunts birthday, yet have the brass to invite us to his stupid little dinnerparty, then he's gonna get a beating..." said crimson angrily.

 

Umbra merely chuckled as tempest left, "hmm.....his group DOES look fun.....but I think I will follow the group with the stallion wearing the ugly scarf..." thought umbra before following curious and walking up to him, "hello sir....my name is gray, may I join your little group?" Asked umbra

Stone shook her head. She knew her fate, and they're was no way around it in her eyes. She just embraced the hug and put her head on his chest. She knew sole was to blind. But he was determined to do what had to be done. She hoped he could do that, and save her from the place.

SharpShot sighed "Alright...But does she even know where she is going? Or wait let me guess, she is following her intuition?" SharpShot was surprised to hear anothe mare talking to Curious "Wow, you popped up from no where..." She was wondering why she hadn't seem this mare at the party till now

Sole smiled slightly, enjoying the moment. But he still had a job to do, and he wouldn't stop until he saw stone and the other girls were freed from that bastards cruelty. "No!" Said Scarlet, still a few yards ahead of the rest, suddenly, but softly. She didn't know why; she typically prefers to gather an entourage. Curious took note of the odd behavior of his sister, and figured she must have felt something about the mare.

 

Curious tried thinking of a way to justify his sister's behavior, and so he said, "Oh sister dear, you didn't rip your dress, did you? Honestly, every time you dress up you have some sort of wardrobe malfunction." Scarlet took Curious's cue and made a small tear in her dress. Curious faced back to Gray. "I do apologize, Scarlet didn't mean to say no to your invitation. Please, feel free to join, Miss Gray."

Tempest shook his head. "I don't even think Blueprick is here." He said. "I didn't sense his aura anywhere within five miles of this manor." The cyan pegesus trotted ahead of the group. "I think this might all be a set up. Anyway, I was about to head out to investigate the area outside the manor. If you want to come, then I won't mind." The cyan pegesus then trotted towards the front door. When he touched the handle, a electric current went through his body. The cyan pegesus then blacked out and fell to the ground, unconcious.

Umbra still disquised as the mare quickly nodded and smiled "thanks! I just love hanging out with groups of people! So, what are you guys doing? Playing pranks? A flash mob? Ooh! I know! What about exploring the mansion!?" Asked umbra in the mares voice, but in his head he was growling, "why do I always steal the souls of the creatures with personalities I CANT STAND!?" Thought umbra.

 

Crimson gasped and quickly caught tempest, "what the buck!? Tempest what's wrong!?" Said crimson with concern before quickly leaning him against a wall and checking his vitals, crimson sighed in relief, "he's alive, but unconciess.....but what happened to him?" Askd crimson quitely.

 

((Umbra has soul stealing/shapeshifting powers, similar to shang-sung from mortalkombat))

((actually, I have a question concerning the whole murder mystery thing. If our character(s) dies, are we really expected to just drop out? Seems kinda... well, lame. Especially when it seems like my characters are among the most underpowered.))

Aqua glanced at the door handle and put some water on it. She could hear the water sizzle on the handle and sighed. "It seems like somepony electrified the door handle." She said. "It appears that somepony doesn't want us to leave this house."

I think something has happened to blue blood. I can't tell what, or why, but he's not acting normal. I don't even think he is acting." The Griffon wasn't much to talk, but when she did, it was usually important. "Name's Serenity"

Stone nodded her head and got up. When sole left, stone tripped over a book. She got up and picked up the said object. 'Book of magic spells: for unicorns and alicorns' the title read.

 

 

It wasn't long before she started to read most of the pages. And one had a healing spell. On her first try it worked. And all of her wounds where gone. She looked around the room, his the book and walked out of her room and into the ball room.

I mean, sure bluebloods a dick, but why would he arm his defense systems while everyone is still in the mansion? And what's worse.....I think there's sompony among us who doesn't belong here..." said crimson.

OOC: If anybody wants to use Pink Mist go for it I only have a couple hours in the afternoon to dedicate to the computer.

 

Pink Mist eagerly glanced around the room, sure they were trapped but still to her it was exciting! "I've been all over Equestria but this is something completely different! I've never participated in a mystery before. There's a detective and everything!" But as the evening drew on she became more frightened and worried. Ivy had been found but Blueblood was missing! "Ok, this has officially become the most serious and possibly dangerous adventure I've ever experienced."

Sole was moving through the mansion quickly, completely determined to rip blueblood a new one *why can't I sense his energy?* he thought in frustration, as he rounded a corner. He quickly approached a large door, it was obviously important "I'll bet this is his room." He mumbled, as he kicked the door down and stood in the threshhold of the large bedroom "knock knock!" He said sarcastically.

Tempest groaned as he opened his eyes. He then stood up and sighed. "Well, that hurt." He said. The cyan pegesus then glanced at Crimson. "I spoke to a mare with a strange aura. She called herself Grey, but I could see through her lie. Crimson, her or his name is Umbra."

Crimsons eyes widened in shock and he slowly turned to tempest, "you....all must get out of here....NOW!! EVERYONE PLEASE! ESCAPE WHILE YOU CAN! YOUR ALL IN DANGER!!" Said crimson with a paniced and worried look on his face.

 

Umbra grinned evilly as he grabbed scarlet from behind and dissappeared into the shadows with psychotic laughter.

"Scarlet!" Curious yelled, pouncing onto the shadows his sister was dragged into. He turned around to were he heard someone yell an evacuation, "What in bloody Tartarus just happened? I want answers you Princess-loving brute!" Curious was absolutely livid. His breath was escalating and he took a few steps forward, "TALK!"

Pink Mist couldn't believe all that had just happened in a matter of minutes. Blueblood was nowhere to be found, and some mare was taken hostage. "Ok, this has passed from fun to totally dangerous and creepy. Where's the prince was he kidnapped too?" Pink Mist was officially in panic mode. "Ok, get a hold of yourself, you're an adventurer remain calm." She decided to try to find the missing mare and the prince, maybe she could be the detective's assistant. "Nope, I better just tag along and let the professionals handle this." What was strange was that the kidnapper had been among them all along, in disguise. Was there another traitor among them? The thought made her get chills. What if she was next?

Just because you two have fancy magic enveloping your bodies, don't think you are intimidate me!" Curious stood his ground. He wasn't the confrontational sort under ordinary circumstances, but he knew he could be impulsive when others were endangered. "Besides, I may not care for every law of the land, but I am pretty sure breaking every bone in a civilian's body would not be so easily pardoned!"

SharpShot was confused when Scarlet had said no and Curious blamed it on her ripping her dress, after SharpShot saw her rip her own dress she started to figure out that her 'intuition' was saying this other mare doesn't seem good. SharpShot watched as Curious talked to the mare. She was surprised to see the  pony grab Scarlet...Looks like Scarlet was right about that pony. "What the buck is happening here?"

Stone heart ran in the middle of tempest and crimson. "ALRIGHT, that's enough, the both of you, now what crimson has to say is right, umbra is dangerous, and you tempest need to leave as the rest of you do, for your own lives, do yourselves a favor and leave, the longer you stay, the more lives that are in danger" she said with a look of urgency.

After searching the bedroom and several other parts of the house, sole was completely out of ideas "that dirty prick isn't even here!" He said angrily, as he walked into the ballroom to talk to the others about his thoughts. As he got there, he saw several ponies, including crimson and tempest, arguing. He quietly walked up to a now healed stone and smiled happily "that bastard isn't here... but I'm glad to see your healed now!" He said cheerfully.

Crimson's flames intenified, "first off, it doesn't matter if you do wantbto help or not, my father is farbmore powerful than any of us in this room, your nothing but an ant to him! Me and tempest will save your sister, secondly, I don't give a shit if it is illeagle, I'll just avoid the law, I'm a pirate, I'm used to it!!" Said crimson angrily.
