writing Hearts Breaking Part:2

In faith and in optimism which allowed our hearts to flutter

Like that of the newest season's tidings, soaring through audacious skies

And on a farewell's nonexistent lips, our end of yesterday, which was once forever

 

In dreams and sorrows alike, with pains to bring and hope to concieve, I continue living

Forced to endure the only nightmare which you would allow me to imagine for myself

A cruel and hardened world with dead emotions, all at your feet

Dead and decaying, as all turns to dust, and as all blows away

The most loving of smiles, inscribed upon your face

And all I can do is see this image, set in stone and only as alive as I allow my mind to imagine

Yet it only brings more of the sorrows which I have come to know

Upon this dying earth, visible only through silent eyes, my own and no other's

It simply hurts to remember

 

What is love, but an escape of fear and prejudice, an accepting of faults and morals, and a painful vision of beauty in a desolate world? And to lose love in the form of the one you dared to say you loved, what misery would that entail?
