Thats a good question.The tumblr would mean Jack would have to be introduced to the RP.

Whitewater lightning, can you please, maybe somehow, delete the forum and transfer everything to a....not ADVANCED RP thread?

1. Use proper grammar and punctuation. No fun in reading if you can't understand.

1.2 No huuuuuge text walls. Paragraphs exist for a reason, and they should be used.

2. No godmode.

I dunno if WhiteWinter is online or not... but we could ask it to be moved or just make a new thread there and ask the old one to be deleted.

Yeah. I agree. I vote for OOC in brackets, so that we can keep the thing in one thread only. Also, post the link to all the related threads in the first post of the RP, so that we know where each thing is.

A mary-sue(or Gary stu for guys) is an overpowered character.They are basically "perfect" and almost nothing bad happens to them

To me God-mode is super powered, can't be killed and always saves the day...

 

Mary sue-stu is the above but with the added annoying perfection in looks and ability to woo everyone to fall in love with them because of their perfectly carved hooves, dreamy eyes that sparkle like stars in the clear sky, perfect silky locks that feel like velvet to touch, and they constantly describe this perfection in the role play, often engaging in a romance with one of the main characters. they also have little to no faults at all!

 

so yeah....

I think it's ok to describe someone else's OC that way if you feel so inclined... but annoying when people do it to their own! better to let others form an opinion about it.

Ok every pony since we are all champing at the bit to start this... and whitewater lightening seems to be snoozing... And by majority vote....  I moved the RP thus far into the normal 200 word limit RP area... and we can get the other one deleted hopefully.

If new members are being accepted, I have an OC in mind that I am kind of eager to try out. Granted, his creation draws on a lot of head-canon, so I have no clue how well that would tie in, but hey.

3. Really listen to everypony's concerns.

 

4. At least develop a decent plot summary beforehand.

Ok so now I'm real confused.....  I was going with the other one that was merged and the mods moved it to the regular role play board, and yeah it's a messy start but if we go with it it will come together. So not sure where to rp this now Aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrgggggg! 

 

I think we should stick with that one, since it was started by the RP's original creator, and there's already ten posts on it. We can make it work!

 

(Plot so far, the Doctor, who doesn't know he's a pony yet, has just crashed in ponyville and has met one of his future selves... Discord Whooves. The real Discord is having a good time watching this in the background and  has created a void chamber to watch the chaos from.

 

Meanwhile in ponyville, Derpy has heard a loud crash and wonders what it is since she didn't cause it. She flies up to investigate and spies a blue box (The Tardis) and decides to make her way to it on hoof... but is directionally challenged and  heads the wrong way... The Doctors daughter, Jenny, who is already a pony and realizes it, has just crashed into Derpy who has given her a muffin. Both of them have heard a loud crash but Jenny decides to leave Derpy to investigate. Then just as Jenny was leaving she is crash into by Pinkie Pie who offered her a cupcake. (LOL great minds think alike I hadn't even read Dawn's post) Pinkie spots Derpy behind them who apparently was either still directionally challenged or followed Jenny, Pinkie has asked Derpy to join the search to investigate the crash because her pinkie sense is going crazy.

 

Meanwhile the Doctor, who still doesn't realize he's a pony, asks Discord Whooves where he is and marvels that Discord Whooves is a talking pony, noticing the hour glass on his flank.)

 

So... maybe vote?

It's a toughie for me, cause all these separate threads , mix-ups, and the lack of order has been driving me nuts.
