ooc The Unknown Danger (OOC Discussion)

SUMMARY:

 

Princess Celestia, and all of Equestria is in trouble. The Princess told me that there was a great danger coming our way and that she tried to fight it, but she lost the fight, and used the last of her energy to teleport herself back to her castle. She is healing, but has suffered from amnesia, and cannot remember what the danger is, or how it will effect us. She is in watch by Princess Luna, and Princess Cadence is keeping a watchful eye on her in the Crystal Empire. She has asked me, and all my friends to travel Equestria, and find this danger.It could be anywhere, but with our skills combined, I know we can win this!

 

-Twilight Sparkle

 

The story begins with the Mane 6 with Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.

 

I decided to make the "Danger' unknown so we can be more creative on what, and where it is!

 

 

 

RULES:

 

-Obviously, no godmodding. (Making your character incredibly overpowered)

 

-No Mary Sues, or any of the sort.

 

-Control your character and ONLY your character.

 

-The Mane 6 are needed to begin the story.

 

-OC's are allowed, and you can choose where their location is when the story begins.

 

-I would prefer if you took control of 1 character, but you can have 2 maximum. (You can't control 2 Mane 6 characters.)

 

-Any other character from the show is allowed, but they need to be involved in the plot one way or another, not to just be there. And please, have it make sense. (Bad example: Nightmare Moon dropping from the sky spewing fire.)

 

-Make your post have some kind of interaction, and not something useless. (Ex: Twilight stood there while the others were arguing.)

 

-Your OC must be either Earth, Pegasus, or Unicorn. No Alicorns. Any character like a Zebra or Griffon... I don't know yet. Talk to me about that.

 

-I don't want an excessive amount of characters. If you want to join when I think I have enough, I'm sorry, but you're too late.

 

-Don't take too long when replying. If you got something to do, need to be somewhere, or simply need to sleep, let everyone know when this thread turns to OOC

 

-In the spirit of the show, let's not make it too mature. So no killing, excessive swearing, deep drama, etc.

You know what? Screw it, i'll bite. 

I don't normally jump into RPs with the mane 6, but there's a lack of RPs lately, the ones i'm in are dying, and I feel like a change  

 

If you'll have me, i'd be happy to play the part of Applejack, because I suck at RP characters who aren't mine, AppleJack seems like she'd be easy to play, My OC's are busy

Yeah, sure, you can be Flutters.

 

I have absolutely no clue on the "Danger" because I figured we would learn little by little of it through the story and make it ourselves. I suppose I won't mind if it's some kind of OC you control, but I would like to keep it a mystery until we actually encounter it.

Update: Wildcard has now joined the RP with his OC, well, Wildcard. I still need the last of the Mane 6 to begin the story. Sing ups are still open.

I'll let you know. I posted within the rules I don't want someone controlling 2 Mane 6 characters, but if I must, you can be both Flutters and Rarity.

I know, i read the rules. I was just letting you know that if need be, I'm willing to play Rarity as well, as at this rate, it looks like you won't get many RPers. I hope you do, though!

Update: Blue Blaze has joined the RP as Rainbow Dash. That leaves only Pinkie and Rarity! Just those two, and we can start the RP.

It's all improvising, that's kind of how an RP goes. Just act like Rainbow Dash, and think of things she would say or do in the situation we're in.

@@Blue Blaze, I know the feeling. Perhaps make a PM convo with me so we can practice how we play our Mane 6 characters? Not how they'll react to whatevr happens, we can have like a mini-RP that's like a day in Ponyville? to help you out so you can be more sure of yourself when the RP starts

Yeah, if you wanna help suggest things for the story, just PM me if you'd like. I'd love to hear suggestions.

UPDATE: Silent Dawn has graciously volunteered to play Rarity in addition to Fluttershy since not many other ponies seem to be joining this RP.

 

But we still need Rainbow Dash to begin this thing. Hopefully, one more pony will come along.

Alright guys, this is a last ditch effort. If any of you can find someone to play Rainbow Dash, we can still begin the RP.

 

If you can't find anyone, I'll play Rainbow myself. (Unless one of you want to control her, besides Silent Dawn.)
