Pink Mist looked around the interior of the castle. Everything did look very medieval. Very elegant. She looked around excitedly as she came to the throne room. Two thrones were set at the end of the room. She gleefully sat in one of them. She looked at Darkshift.  "Come on, sit with me. You can take the other throne. We can be like the king and queen."

Sunset heard a familiar voice and turned towards it. It was the stallion from yesterday, Windy Runner. She turned to completely face him, not wanting to be rude, but couldn't help continuing to hide her face with her mane as she pawed at the ground. She wondered why he was being so friendly to her. 

"U-um, hi... I'm okay, I-I guess... Um... H-how are you?"

"I'm doing great, thanks for asking! I'm gonna go surfing today, you want to come?" he asked, checking the map to see where the best surfing beach was. "Even if you don't surf, you can always just lay on the beach and relax. Its super soothing and calming." he said, noting that the best beach wasn't even a very far flight away, which would be nice.

stone heart looked at the board "well I have no idea what wake boarding is, so either mountain climbing or swimming, your choices" she said looking at the mare. "if we mountain climb, my stone abilities can work" she really didn't want to swim because she was afraid of water. but whatever noon picked, stone forced herself to do it.

Noon shrugged. "I guess mountain climbing would be nice." She looked around. "Not a cloud in the sky, too. Would be beautiful!" Noon saw a path leading to the mountain just across the pool area. "Do you want to go right now? I'm ready if you are." She smiled, waiting for an answer.

Noon shrugged. "I guess mountain climbing would be nice." She looked around. "Not a cloud in the sky, too. Would be beautiful!" Noon saw a path leading to the mountain just across the pool area. "Do you want to go right now? I'm ready if you are." She smiled, waiting for an answer.

stone nodded her head "might as well head out early so later we can do other things" she said with a smile before heading to the path that lead to the mountain climbing area. she thought that his should be interesting since she had never tried this before.

Sole sat in his room, feeling really depressed. "I need a vacation... From this vacation." He mumbled sadly, before standing with a sigh and flying out of the window, deciding to train to ease his thoughts. He soon arrived at the base of a mountain climbing range, a pony offered him a harness and rope, but he shook his head. Pulling out his own rope, he tied one talon behind his back, also tying his wings down. "Showtime..." He mumbled, as he began to climb.

stone blushed slightly, the violet unicorn (VIOLET, NOT GREY!!! lol) looked back at the mare "even though I regret it, specially since I have somepony else im trying to get.......it was pretty.....pretty good...specially the whole beak thing, oh WOW that could really please a girl" she said with a slight shiver. "its pretty rough, how I like it, but this time instead of bruises I got some scratches, but it was good" she said getting all red.

"Well that's just wrong. I knew there was ponies out there who are just mean, trust me I know about mean ponies, but if there is nopony that is nice then that's just plain wrong." He took another sip of tea, trying to shake thoughts that were gathering in his mind, thoughts of asking her of who these ponies were so he could teach them a lesson.

Synangel just sighed "I'm just no good...." She said.

Sunset wasn't sure how to react. It would be nice to go to the beach, and she'd never even seen somepony surf before, so she came to a decision and answered before she could talk herself out of it..

"U-um... S-sure... Um, can I g-go get my towel? I might s-swim a bit, o-or maybe just stay on the beach... I-I'm not s-sure...." Sky blue eyes watched the brown pegasus stallion timidly from behind her mane as she answered.

Noon noticed that the pony's hide was VIOLET. The type of light her coat reflected was VIOLET. Clearly this VIOLET pony was indeed VIOLET.

 

Noon looked forward. "Man, I must say I'm pretty jealous of you myself." She fixed her mane. "Never found out what it's really like." The conversation had gotten very awkward very fast. "I'm just wondering here.." Noon kicked the ground nervously. "Have you ever been with a mare? Not necessarily like that, but.." She paused. "but as in a girlfriend."

"Well....for a little bit I did, it was fun let me tell you. I don't have one now, I'm still single. But I most certainly aim for having a other mare as a girlfriend on this trip" she said. She couldn't say she liked noon, then the whole day would be extremely awkward,

"Well, whatever you plan to do, I'm sure it will be really fun!" Windy said happily, "And they have towels at the beach, there's a nice little resort building at this beach that has towels for beachgoers, it said so on the activities board, so we don't have to worry! And if you want to stay on the beach, I won't surf the whole time, maybe we can build sandcastles together or something!"

"Okay..." Sunset snuck the word in as he kept talking.

He mentioned making sandcastles, and her blue eyes widened slightly, but visibly. Well, one visibly widened, the other was covered by her long mane. She couldn't help but smile lightly at the thought. Sandcastles. She had the chance to make sandcastles here. She looked at Windy again.

"U-um... Sure... A-actually, I've never even seen a s-sandcastle before, let alone m-made one..." she tried to hide the excitement in her quiet voice, but a small amount of it seeped through.

Laughing warmly, Windy shook his head, "Neither have I! Figuring out how to make one will be half the fun!" he said, glad to see Sunset reacting in a happy way to something he had suggested. "She has a nice smile... she should show it more often."

 

Motioning Sunset to walk with him, Windy headed towards the door of the hotel. "I think we should fly to the beach, if that's okay with you." he said, opening the door. "Although how can you fly with your mane in your face like that?" he asked, reaching over with his hoof to gently pull her mane out of her face.

"I-i guess it will..." Sunset agreed timidly as they began to walk. 

"Fly? S-sure..." she started to open her wings, but he spoke again,commenting on how her mane was in her face. She looked down. She liked her mane that way. She had specifically grown out her mane to cover most of her face..

"I-I guess I've gotten used to it...."

She didn't see his hoof coming to her face and flinched in surprise when he moved her mane to the side. It wasn't just the fact that he was touching her, he had also uncovered the side of her face that was riddled with scars. You'd have to be blind not to notice.

"U-u-u-um..." She stuttered, terrified that he would think she was a freak or laugh at her or something, like most ponies had done all her life following the attack.

"I-I-I-" Sunset abruptly put a hoof on her face, trying to hide what was obvious. She backed up a few steps, fear blazing in her sky-blue eyes. Tears started welling up, and she whimpered, barely audible.

(Windy just can't catch a break, whoops!)

 

Emerald had spent a short while playing around at the poolside, entertaining herself luring ponies every which way with her magic - she didn't really know why it entertained her to see the waves of them suddenly decide that the pool looked particularly inviting and pile in, but it did.

 

It was exhausting though - still morning and she felt drained already. Or maybe that was the alcohol from the night before talking.

 

'Entertaining, but it would be nice to have someone to chat to.' she thought 'I wonder if this might be a little more interesting somewhere else on the resort?'

 

Standing, she wandered idly away, wondering what to do next.

They trotted upwards, arriving at what had to be the most beautiful ocean view anypony had laid their eyes on. "Well would you look at that." Noon turned to Stone Heart. "Mountain climbing turned out to be a good idea after all." She said.

"Mountain climbing turned out to be a good idea after all." She said.

Stone looked at the view "y-yeah....it has" she said with her teeth starting to chatter. She was now so bucking scarred now. 'Now if I fall now it won't be the fall, it'll be me drowning in water, fabulous' she said. "M-m-m-maybe we should go to a restaurant instead if this, ok? ok great!" She said getting all nervous.

Darkshift sat with pink on the legendary thrones,he felt a an extremely strange feeling of power and pride.Darkshift admired the interior design of the massive castle "It's hard to believe that years ago there was the king and queen"Darkshift imagined the two rulers side by side dictating the area.

"Yup. Imagine a line of subjects bowing before us. Really neat!" Pink looked around the throne room so more, admiring the design and feeling she had gone back in time. "Hey wanna check out the tower? We can probably see the whole island from up there!" Pink Mist eagerly waited for Darkshift's response.

Darkshift's had cleared his vision of the past.So he answered "Yeah,I bet it is an awesome view"Darkshift hopped out of the throne and began the journey towards the tower.He heard the sounds of there hoofs hitting the stone floor and found the tune quite amusing.

Sole was tired, his arm was close to giving out, but he still held on. With a growl, and one final push, he threw himself all the way up the mountain "that was... Fun..." He said between breaths "but I still don't feel any better... Maybe something else..." He mumbled, as he slowly stood up.

"Wow!" Pink Mist looked out at the island from the tower. "It's beautiful, isn't it? Looks way better from up here. I wish I could stay up here forever." The island looked big and absolutely beautiful from her view. She was really glad her friend had told her to come here. It was the right choice, plus she had made many new friends here already. She was really enjoying her "adventure" with Darkshift so far. She didn't think it could get any better.
