Noon watched as the sun slowly drifted up out of the horizon. She hadn't slept at all since she woke up, but she wasn't tired anyways. Noon decided to say hi to Stone Heart, but she did not know her room number. "Hmm.." She walked down to the lobby and approached the mare at the front desk. "Excuse me, is there a Stone Heart staying here? If so, could you call her for me please?" Noon watched carefully as the pony typed a number into the phone, "456." She walked away from the desk, keeping that number in her head as she trotted up to the fourth floor. "456... 456... Here we are!" The mare knocked lightly on the door, not hoping to disturb Stone too much.

Sole pulled back and grinned "wow... Your good stony." He said a large blush, as he leaned in and kissed her again, slipping his toung in with her, enjoying the feeling of her hooves on his back. He soon began to kiss the rest of her body, going lower with each kiss. ((That's it for me, timeskip now.))

Stone awoke in her bed. She had a massive headache, and couldn't remember anything from last night, AT ALL. She got up, feeling all disgusting, sticky, and sweaty. "What....the fuck ha- OH MY GOD, I had...." She looked at the passed out griffin "I HAD SEX WITH A GRIFFIN? Oh crap, what happens if she finds out, then I'll never have a chance with her" she paced around the room "fuck fuck fuck" she went into the bathroom and took a quick shower.

Windy paused for a moment, blinked a few times, and then smiled. "Wow. This is weird even for me, but thank you Emerald, for saying no. That was a tasteless thing to ask, and I'm sorry. I don't want... that to define our interactions. It was a momentary lapse of judgement, and I won't let it happen again, I promise." Pausing for a few moments to reorganize his train of thought, he continued, "Emerald, you're a much better pony than most mares I've ever been interested in. You have values and morals, and I will respect them. Goodnight, and I hope to see you again soon." he said, opening his wings and turning to leave. Thinking better of it, he turned around, and, with the speed of a cobra, pecked Emerald on the cheek. Blushing slightly, he waved quickly and jumped over the edge and flew up towards his room. 

 

Laying down in his bed, he thought confusedly, "Wow.... That's the first time I've been happy to get told no! Why... Maybe if she'd said yes, I'd have had my one night stand, but then that would have been it, nothing more. Maybe she can give me something that I've not had in a long time, a real, loving, supportive relationship, not just empty sex. Maybe...." Tossing and turning, Windy had a hard time getting to sleep, but he managed to, eventually.  

 

((Timeskip to morning))

 

Waking up was, even on the best of mornings, Windy's least favorite activity in the world. Moaning and cursing, he rolled out of bed and onto the floor with a crash. Groaning, he did a set of pushups and situps to wake up, before going into the shower and taking a shower. Drying off, he decided a little breakfast was in order. Popping a pill to keep his migraines at bay for the day, he left his room and flew down towards the lobby. 

 

Pausing at the fourth floor, he saw two ponies he knew, Stone and that pony who had offered to help him the previous day. Deciding against talking to them, he dropped the rest of the way to the first floor and headed over to the breakfast buffet to get some food.

Pink Mist woke up with her headache gone, thankfully. She decided to head downstairs and get some breakfast before Darkshift stopped by. "Who knows, I may even see him down there." She got up and looked at her reflection in the mirror after getting ready. "Yup, my coat looks great! Pinker than ever I might say!" She gleefully left her room and trotted downstairs to get breakfast.

Aarod awoke, feeling much better than yesterday. He went into the bathroom and splashed water onto his face, then walked back into the bedroom. Might as well eat, maybe make me feel better than before. He walked out of his room and down the stairs towards the dining area where breakfast was being served. He noticed there was hardly anypony gathered there but that didn't stop him from getting food and sitting down to eat.

Pink Mist saw a colt enter the dining area. She decided she might as well talk to him since she was in the mood of talking to ponies at the moment. She just felt so happy! Besides she could make a new friend, and new friends made her happy! "Hey there, I'm Pink Mist."

Aarod looked up from the food he had just set in fron tof him, at the mare who had just said something to him. Concealing all of his emotions, he put on a small smile and said. "Nice to meet you Pink Mist, my name is Aarod Brachuin. Do you care to sit?" Just be cool okay Aarod, don't do anything stupid and for the love of Celestia don't even think about telling her about yourself or asking about her.

"Sure thanks." She was glad the colt was nice and accepted her company. She sat down and started to eat her eggs and toast she had chosen. "So what brings you to the hotel? I got invited from a friend who heard about the place and told me he thought it would suit me just fine." She hoped it wouldn't be a prying question, and he got offended. Just a simple casual question, she didn't want to make a bad first impression. She was lucky already that Darkshift wasn't mad at her after her "incident" yesterday.

[The Elusive Cinder 1,328]

"Uhh..." Emerald rolled out of bed far later than she usually would, blinking in the early light that seemed blinking to her. Running a glass of water, she looked at herself in the mirror.

 

"You look a mess." she told her reflection. "Rule number one Emerald, don't ask Windy's advice on drinks."

 

She thought back to the night before: all things considered, it had gone well. She let herself smile a little as she thought about the colts departure.

 

Cleaning up and finishing by adding a slight glamor in herself out of insecurity, she was ready to face the world again.

 

'Get a grip girl.' she thought. '... And possibly some breakfast.'

So I don't even need to ask about her, she's willing to tell me things. Oh why can't things go this well with Synangel. He took a sip of the tea he was drinking and said. "A few ponies I knew forced me to come when they found out my parents gave me some money. I didn't want to come, but they said I needed to get away, so instead of letting me give the money away, the forced me to come to this island. Can't say I'm mad at them, this place isn't that bad."

"Well it's too bad that they forced you, but it's still great that you came. This is a really nice place. I'm glad I'm here, I've made some really nice friends, and I'm ready to have tons of adventures." He seemed easy going Pink observed. Another potential friend? YAY!!

"Adventures might be fun, I just don't know if I could have fun on them. There's just so much going on right now." He frowned when he said that.  Aarod be careful, you don't what to give up anything about yourself. He put on the smile again. "But let's not talk about that, what kind of adventures do you plan on going on. There's so much to do here but you have to have an idea of what you want to do."

Sitting down with some food to eat, Windy noticed Pink Mist and a stallion he hadn't seen before talking. Although he initially thought about going over and saying hi, he decided not to butt his nose in, and instead started eating quietly and discreetly, thinking about what he would do for the day. 

 

"Well... I could always go kite surfing, I hear that the conditions here are great! Or maybe go to the beach and take a swim? Nah, that's too boring... There might be some good hiking trails around here, maybe even some cliffs to climb. The opportunities are endless! I know one thing for sure though: I'm NOT staying cooped up in this hotel all day, I'm gonna get out and see the island a bit!"

Heading down to get some coffee, Emerald turned down a hall and noticed a couple of mares, one of which she remembered stumbling into last night. Hastily changing course, she took an alternate route to the canteen,

 

'Let's try to avoid making a fool of yourself again, if possible.' She thought as she found herself approaching her destination and practically pounced on one of the counters. 'Coffee! Sweet, sweet coffee...'

 

Helping herself to some food to go alongside the steaming black beverage, she sat and nursed the cup while she finished waking up.

Synangel walked out to the lunchroom, to her surprise she saw the stallion she had hurt from the night before, only thing is, he was talking to pink mist, could she be telling her what they talked about from the night before. She got a little worried. She tried to get pink mist's attention she then mouthed "that's him" she mouthed.

Oh my gosh. This was him? Pink Mist couldn't believe she was actually talking to Synangel's stallion friend. "What a quinky dink!" She thought to herself. I may as well put in a good word for her. "Oh I'm probably gonna go explore this castle I saw on the way here. Or maybe go surfing or snorkeling. I don't know, there's just so much to do." Pink thought quick, maybe I should mention Synangel later, I want to keep the conversation going on a little first before jumping right in with that.

[Pinkie D Pie 1,036]

"Ah, the castle. That's one of the things that actually interests me. Old things like that, it's like more than just getting away from somewhere, it's like going back in time, which of course would put you further away from things you don't want." He smiled after he was done, his mind now racing with thoughts of the castle, and not of how horrible he had been the past night.

"I agree. Feels like stepping into another era or time. I can just imagine knights poised at the entrance ready to protect the ruler inside." Pink Mist daydreamed about her dream stallion again. She was a princess in a castle and a dark handsome tall stallion would storm up to the castle and take her away into the sunset on a carriage, to have a grand adventure, and explore unknown amazing places. She quickly came back to reality though. "Yeah right Pink, like that would ever happen." She tried to mouth to Synangel, "Come talk to him!"

[Darkshift 85]

Darkshift entered the dining area just to check if Pink Mist was in there before he went to her room.He noticed the mare talking to a random stallion,he began to wonder who the guy was and why she was talking to him.Darkshift decided it was best to intervene so he walked towards Pinkand the stallion saying "Hey Pink"

"Oh hey Darkshift. Great to see you. Sit down and eat with us if you want, the food's great." She thought now would be a great time for Synangel to come talk with Aarod, they could talk in private and she could talk with Darkshift. Perfect! She just hoped Synangel would have the courage to come and talk to him. She really wanted things to work out between them.

synangel found herself just standing there, she took a deep breathe and developed enough courage to go and talked to Aarod, she knew she had to do it if she still wanted to have someone like him as a friend or even more then a friend. she walked over to him and said "hey, im sorry about last night....that was all my fault" she said.

Pink Mist let out a small sigh of relief. Synangel had finally done it, worked up her courage to go talk to her friend. She spoke softly to Darkshift, "Let's go somewhere else for now." She secretly hoped everything would work out between Synangel and Aarod.

Darkshift noticed the couple having a chat and realised he didn't want to be there so he was quite glad when Pink wanted to depart."Yeah,sure"Darkshift replied."Where do you want to go?"Darkshift calmly asked silently hoping for a fun activity,not a boring one.

"Well you can choose between snorkeling, surfing, or exploring this really cool castle! I'm up for whatever, cause I'm really not that good at making decisions like these" Pink Mist hoped Darkshift would choose for her, since she wasn't good at decision-making. If all the options appealed to her, it was hard to choose which to try first. Hopefully, he could do better.

Sole yawned as he woke up... In a bed he'd never been in before "eh... Happened before..." He said, just as he remembered last nights events "oh crap..." Was all he could say, as he looked around for her, but she was nowhere to be found. "Ah shit... She must've flipped." He muttered sadly, before taking a quick shower.
