Evening grinned "I've always been there. How could I ever forget my best friend?" she whispered with a smile, her heart thumping with happiness. After all that happened, the two ponies were close enough to touch.

 

She looked to the ground "When I.. got the pill, the doctor said he could put a magic spell on me that would let me remember two things, the spell would remain for as long as the drug did, so namely, forever.." she stopped to take a pause, she did not like talking about this, but she felt like she to, for Kismet's sake..

"I chose to remember them giving me the forever-lasting drug.. And our Garden of Hope.." She looked up, her wide, hopeful eyes filling up with tears as she smiled her best friend

 

"Logically.. I remembered everything connected to it, I've always remembered you, but I.. I never knew your name. It killed me every day, that I never could remember your name, all I knew if that you were a shy, soft lavender Pegasus whom I shared my garden with and was my best friend.."

 

She let one tear fall, which made an instant reaction of her wiping her eye, she whispered a sorry and smiled again.

 

Memories seemed to kill her, but they were the only thing that kept her alive

Neon looked down at her hooves as Red talked. When he was done she sighed and looked back up at him.  "I know...I have...been confused with our relationship too, wile we didn't see each other much i didn't miss you to much...Well, i mean i missed you! But not as much as i should of...I think...I mean..." Neon paused "Ugh" She said, she was real confused by all this and didn't know how she felt... "I guess that we should take a break... Be friends for now and you know see how we feel later?" Neon sighed, she didn't know what she was saying and she felt really awkward

Kismet chuckled softly. Who knew that their Garden of Hope would be the one to save their friendship? That seemingly simple Garden truly was their beacon of Hope. It was a blessing that both ponies shared, and because they were so closely intertwined, Evening, against all odds, still managed to remember. It was true what Twilight Sparkle always said: Friendship is Magic. 

 

Wiping her eyes, Kismet cleared her throat and tried to remain composed. Autumn Glow was still standing right beside them after all. She gave a weak smile to both the sisters and said:

 

"I truly can't express in words how happy I am. I... I just thank Celestia that I have such wonderful friends, and especially am glad that I am reunited with the best pony in Equestria, the best friend anypony could ever ask for."

 

Kismet looked into her best friends eyes. The eyes that she knew so well, though had been but a foggy memory until now.

 

"I just want to say... thank you. For everything. I am so proud of you and all that you have done. First the... pill... then the crash... I am just so impressed. I am honored to have such an amazing friend!"

 

Kismet couldn't take it anymore. She lurched forward and gave Evening a huge hug, a hug even Pinkie Pie would be proud of. Then stepping back, she said:

 

"That being said you aren't allowed to do any more life-threatening stunts without me.... And that includes getting married." Kismet winked.

Listening to Brick playing for a little while longer he stood up.

"I think I will take a walk around in the area... See if I do not bump into some of the others while I am at it." he said to Brick. "Thank ye for letting me listen to ye play the orgel..." he continued, as he started walking around the chapel and the area nearby, looking for his friends... And the occasional interesting shop.

Brick continued to play on the organ, failing to notice that North had just left. He was immersed in the sounds blaring from the organ...

Sterling was walking to the chapel with the plant on his back. As he walked closer to the chapel, he could hear the majestic sound of the organ and realized that his teacher Brick was playing for his wedding. 'Right on schedule' Sterling thought happily as he walked. He suddenly stopped however. North was in the horizon. He remembered his errand concerning North and he called out to him as loud as he could, "NOOOORRRRTTHHH!!! NOOOORRRRTTTTHHHH!!!!"

Neon looked down at her hooves as Red talked. From personal experience, "break" was just one word short of "breakup."

"Yeah..." Red responded, "I guess that's what's best for us. I'm gonna meet up with @Sterling Crimson at the chapel in a bit. They're preparing for the wedding, and he might need some help."

As he wandered the streets near the chapel, his left ear pointed up as his sensitive ears picked up somepony yelling his name... Or the direction north. No matter, he turned to see Sterling in the distance, making North change his direction towards him.

"'allo there. I was looking for any of ye, and here ye are." he said, seeming a little happy to see somepony ha knew.

Neon sighed, she wondered if she really should be breaking up with Red...But she has been feeling more awkward around him. She was lost in thought till Red spoke "Oh, alright" Neon wasn't sure what she was going to do,  she thought about going to the chapel also...Which is probably what she was going to do. But first she had to eat "Well, i'm gonna grab something to eat...See you later Red"

((OOC: Wow… this roleplay so far  has had so many relationships being formed, broken or renewed that it could make almost anypony cry! I'm sure that’s a good sign!))

 

DJ and Vinyl had been enjoying their time in Manehattan; DJ for seeing the places of his childhood, and Vinyl for just spending time with her coltfriend. By mid-afternoon, they decided it was time to head back to the chapel, just to see how everything was getting on.

 

“So, DJ, how’s your speech for the party coming along?” Vinyl asked him curiously.

 

DJ’s eyes widened and he stopped suddenly. “MY WHAT?” he cried. “Nopony ever said anything about a speech!”

 

“But you’re the best man, aren’t you?” she replied. “The best man always has to make a speech about the couple at the party!” Seeing the look on the pegasus’ face, she smiled soothingly. “Don’t worry, I’ll help you out with it! It can’t be that hard, right?”

Sterling ran up to North while still holding his purple flower in place. He panted as he came to a grinding stop just by North. After taking a few breaths to compose himself, Sterling spoke calmly, "Ok North... I need you to do a favour for me. A huge favour. It'll be the biggest favour you do in your life."

Blue Note took a slow sip of her coffee. "Oh, it's mostly the amount of studying his class requires. He certainly likes to cram in as much content as possible. But I suppose that is what I signed up for when I auditioned to get into a music school as highly ranked as this." She paused a moment, slightly impressed. Medical school and music classes? He must be quite the busy pony. "I play the piano as well, though clarinet is my primary instrument. I picked up piano when I discovered my love for composing. My music teacher back in Canterlot insisted I start learning it right away. I encountered a few setbacks, but I'm at least proficient. The piano classes offered here have been quite helpful."

Sterling was becoming more intrigued with this mare. She was... so much like him musically! Sterling replied with excitement, "You play on the piano as well? Wow! I'm so stoked! I've played on the piano for 10 years because my parents wanted me to have a holistic attitude towards life. Part of that was combining the empiricism and logic of science with the sentiments and emotions of music. I'm currently being taught by the great Bram Thorrington of Manehattan University! Who would have thought he performed at Carneighie Hall at one point?! He's so amazing! I look up to him so much, he's practically a mentor!" 

 

Sterling then continued on with his medical aspirations, giving a small sigh as he began, "A lot of ponies make fun of me because I'm combining music with biology. The music students often tease at how empirical my music sounds at times. Plus, the science students wonder why I'm taking music if it's so different from biology. It's pretty annoying to say the least. Opposites can attract right?"

North stood there and gave Sterling a look of scepticism as he spoke.

"Oj... Um... Is it something hard? Is it even bigger than that time my snoring caused an avalanche that knocked out a dragon that was about to attack Trotheim? For I assure ye - t'was an accident... Or a dream." he asked, as he watched Sterling still breathing heavily. "Whatever it is, I will do my best... As long as it is something I clearly can do, of course." he said, trying to seem a bit more optimistic.

Sterling looked at North with a blank, expressionless look. It was a long awkward silence. He then raised his eyebrow and looked at North with a very, very confused look. "Umm ok... Whatever you say... North..." The awkward silence continued before Sterling then spoke sheepishly, "Don't worry about it North. It won't be that hard at all! I think it just involves you walking down the aisle with flowers and throwing it across the chapel rooms so everyone can marvel at the flowers and hope they bring good luck! At least, that's what I think Evie told me... Well you can ask her once she arrives at the chapel later today! It's not hard at all I assure you!"

Evening laughed, the comment was a perfect touch up after the hug

"Alright, alright" she said, still giggling. She toned down her laugh to a smile, she gave it to Kismet

"I promise, but it wasn't my fault the ship crashed and I fell for him!" she returned the wink and started to softly giggle again, she put her hoof up to her forward and pretended to swoon; blushing while she did it - Kismet took her shyness away but not all of it.

 

Autumn gave chuckle from behind her, she walked up forward enough so she was in both of the mares' vision

"Alright girlies. We've had our explanatory sapp talk" she said, rolling her hoof around but still with a cheeky smile, she put it now and looked at the mares daringly

"Now lets go shopping!"

 

Evening let out a small gasp, her expression changed from a happy to a more surprised-happy "Kismet's coming shopping with us?!" Autumn grinned and gave a nod, she turned to Kismet

"So, you ready? You got a dress?" she asked

 

((Hope this is alright to move things along? Kismet finished her breakfast? ))

 

((Also, a short description on Autumn; she is a fun an jumpy Pegasus mare who has a soft spot for Autumn. I do have a picture reference that I'd like to look sort of like her, but it's on my computer at home and I'm stuck at my Aunties on my device for two-three more days.))

Blue Note felt a twinge of sadness at Sterling's mention of his parents. She remembered the arguing and bargaining she had to go through just to be allowed to keep on with her musical studies. Not to mention the work she had to do to pay for her lessons... But that part of her life was over with now. Greener pastures were ahead for her. "Wow, Dr. Thorrington is amazing. I wish I was able to study under somepony so renowned for piano playing. Though Dr. Wind is quite the accomplished clarinetist herself. She's the best musician I've ever studied under for sure. And of course the composition faculty are very impressive themselves..." Blue Note realized that she was rambling. It was just rare for her to find somepony that liked talking about music as much as she did. 

 

"Of course they can," Blue Note said, getting back on topic. "If combining music and science is what you want to do, then you should pursue it. Some ponies are too hung up on their expectations. It's like they can't accept anypony doing something different and unique."

As Sterling listened on to Blue's rant, he began to look at Blue with dreamy eyes. Her ranting sounded so... cute. He didn't understand why, but he didn't care. It was fun seeing her talk about music, especially since he too loved music very much, maybe even more so than Blue.

 

Sterling was comforted seeing that somepony else understood his ambition of becoming a musical doctor. He breathed music, and he thanked his parents every day for promoting music into his life. He just couldn't take music out of the picture, even if other ponies continually poked at him about it. He didn't say anything as he sat there frozen, clearly thinking about how nice Blue was to even walk up to him to see if he was alright after he was rioted out of the university. He continued to look onward towards Blue and then gave a small sigh to himself...

Sterling remembered where Evening would be off to today, especially since she had to get her wedding dress soon. He replied with confidence, "Umm I believe Evie's gone shopping with family for her wedding dress. I suggest you check out Manehattan Mall and look for a bridal shop. That's where Evie will probably be."

I guess I will go and have a look then..." he said, before reaching for his saddlebag, taking out a piece of candy, jumping up an placing it on Sterling's back. "I bought some of these... Have t yourself, or give it to somepony else." he said, before venturing to new streets on his epic quest for the Manehattan Mall.

 

After looking around for about five minutes - finding a sign every now and then, as well as dodging a few large groups of ponies from trampling him, he stood before the doors of the grand building. His epic five-minute-quest had come to a not so dramatic end.

"And now to look for this bird-shop or whatever he called it..." he said to himself, as he started trotting around at the mall.

"I suppose I'm as ready as I'll ever be," Kismet said with a smile, "Still can't believe you're getting married, Evening..."

 

The two friends and Autumn walked out of the hotel, leaving their plates to be cleared by the hotel staff. As they trotted down the busy streets, Kismet tried to keep the conversation going. 

 

"And yes, to answer your question, I have bought a dress for the wedding. I think it's absolutely divine, I actually got it from this boutique in Ponyville. Quite an unusual mare designed it for me... Ah well. I can't wait to wear it for the ceremony tomorrow." Kismet giggled. 

 

"Oh and I just can not wait to help pick out yours! It simply must be the most beautiful thing in all of Equestria! I wouldn't expect anything less for my best friend."

 

Kismet and the two sisters continued down the streets, making their way to the Manehatten Mall.

Evenig sighed and looked to the ground "I can't either.." she muttered, still smiling. She put her gaze up and gave Kismet another grin "Thanks." She said, in response to her sayings of the unicorns wedding dress. This couldn't feel more right, her two Favourite ponies *ahem* mares in the world were beside her and they were going shopping for her wedding dress so she could may the most wonderful stallion in the world.

 

Autumn looked in front of them, squinting to improve her sight as much as possible. When she was satisfied with what she could see, she stopped squinting and turned to the two mares beside her "Nearly there, ladies!" She said, blowing a piece of her mane out of the way of her eye "Just a block or two to go."

 

Evening turned to Autumn and gave her a smile "Thanks, sis" she said cheerily. Her knowledge about the places around Manehatten was still fairly small, and she knew Autumn had been here a lot for her work and such.

 

As they got closer, Evening turned to the lavender Pegasus next to her "I bet you look beautiful in your dress." She beamed, she heard Autumn give a chuckle behind

"Yeah, I bet ya do" she said, pausing for a moment while giving a cheeky grin. Evening stared at her sister, wondering what devilish thig she was going to say next. Finally, she spit it out

"So, Kismet, do you have a coltfriend?" ((Its colt friend, right?)) Autumn raised an eyebrow at her while Evening looked at her best friend questionably.

((Oohh, an unexpected turn... I like it!  ))

 

Kismet's lavender cheeks suddenly flushed a scarlet red. She looked down at her hooves as they continued down the road. 

 

"Heh.. You guys know me, I was never good around colts..." Kismet said sheepishly, "So.. no. No coltfriend for me."

 

She looked up to her friend with an embarrassed smile, "I love being independent and all, but, things get kinda lonely sometimes, ya know? I couldn't exactly visit you before, could I?" Kismet turned her head to look at the bright blue sky. 

 

"I suppose I just have never met that stallion who really... connects with me. I get along very well with everypony but... but there is just something missing whenever I talk to stallions. Most are very polite and I enjoy their company, but there's never chemistry between us." Kismet chuckled.

 

"But that's probably more information than you wanted to hear... Tomorrow's your big day, after all, not mine."

Evening gave a half smile to the ground

"Does it have to be?" She asked sheepishly

"I mean, I'm thrilled I'm getting married, but, well you know me. I never liked attention." she looked up, facing her best friend

"R-Right? That's what Mother told me.." she asked, both her tone and face full of confusion as she stared at Kismet, forcing, commanding, politely asking her brain to remember, just this once.

 

It didn't work.

 

She sighed again, looking forwards again. It really killed her that she didn't know, it was slowly and painfully eating her out from the inside, and she absolutely destoryed her. Every breath she took was another part of her dying, ever since she was (age-to-be-confirmed?) this had been happening.

 

Again, she did what she usually did and pushed to it the side. She choked out a giggle, turning back to Kismet

"Can you imagine how embrassing it would be if I had a nervous breakdown in the mi-"

 

She stopped dead. Her mucules gone stiff as her head falled to face forwards Oh, hell' she thought, cursing herself for forgetting. Autumn had only walked a little bit infront of her sister before she stopped and looked back at her

"You alright, Eve?" she asked, her tone even a bit worried

"I wasn't mean to do something else back at the hotel." The purple mare replied, un-tensing her muscles

"What did you forget?"

"I was meant to get Mother and Father to go to the chapel to help Sterling organize things for the wedding" Autumn turned her body around to match the placing of her head and gave a simple "Oh". The soft orange Pegasus looked from the mall (which was fairly close now) to the way the came, to the mall, to the way they came, over and over again until she finally faced her sister and smiled

 

"I can run back for you" she offered, Evening was shocked

"But.. But, A-Autumn!" She stuttered, confused.

"Don't worry about it, I'll come back" the older sister winked

"Be back in a flash, meet me at the Bridal Shop!" she rushed, then just like that, she was off, galloping hard down the hoof path behind them "Thanks sis" Evening whispered, watching her go farther down the path.

 

Soon, she turned back to Kismet and gave a giggle. She prance past her and suddenly stopped just before her "Gotta love her" she said, she continued to walk up the path slowly as she turned her head back "Lets carry on" she said over her shoulder "We're almost there"

DJ and Vinyl arrived at the chapel, which seemed to be just as busy as the day before. He could hear the sounds of organ music from inside, and there seemed to be quite a lot of ponies rushing about. DJ then noticed Sterling, so went over to meet him. "Hey Sterling! How's the preparations going?" he asked.
