"Seeya round," Red said to Neon as he headed out to the chapel. When he arrived, he saw Sterling Crimson, and greeted him.

"Hey, Sterling," Red Talon said to him, "you guys need any help?"

Red tried his best to hide the emotional turmoil he was enduring, but couldn't keep a lid on all of it.

Sterling had just walked back to the chapel relieved that North had agreed to become the flower boy. He was so delighted to be finally back at the chapel to get ready for preparations. When he got back however, everything was much more chaotic than he imagined. His group of Manehattan ponies had just arrived to help with the decorations, and the organ was blaring resonantly and beautifully through the chapel hall. Sterling also saw two of his best friends from the Odyssey, DJ and Red. He heard them offering their assistance to him to which he replied to them both, "Sure you guys can help! DJ, things have been going ok, but I need you to set up the sound system for the stuff after the wedding. Red, I need you to organize the ponies together so that they can actually get some nice decorating done."

@@Budding Night,

Kismet smiled, it was so great how these two sisters loved each other so much. Autumn was quirky, that's for sure, but inside she was a good mare. Once again Kismet thanked Celestia for being able to reunite with her friends.

Evening invited Kismet to follow her into the mall, and Kismet delightfully accepted. The two mares pranced into the building, giggling and whispering all the way. The two looked and marveled at all the clothes: ponies only usually wore clothing to special occasions, but here in Manehatten (similar to Canterlot Evening said), it seemed that ponies wore something new every day!

All the stores were packed with ponies, mostly mares, trying to get the latest sale. It was quite an overwhelming experience, being at the renounced Manehatten Mall, but it was intriguing none the less. Finally, after squeezing and squirming their way through the crowds, Kismet and Evening stumbled upon a huge store:

"Bridle Brides & Co" Kismet announced happily. "This must be the place!"

Kismet opened the huge brass doors and invited Evening inside. It was only a matter of time before they were ambushed by a number of bridal experts, all musing and chirping about who the bride would be, the mare of honor, what the theme would be, where it was located, who would be attending, and a stream of unending questions. Kismet was overwhelmed, but she only thought of how Evening must feel...

Finally they managed to escape the mass of ponies and spoke to the manager. Kismet approached the silk white mare politely and dipped her head in greeting.

"How may I help you?" The mare asked with a knowing, experienced smile.

After exploring the mall for a little while, he finally found a bird-shop. "Well, this is it, I think..." he spoke to himself, as he entered. Looking around in there for a while, he realised that Evening was not in there. He did, however get a nice look at some owls and such that he though looked nice.

Leaving the store slightly disappointed that he could not find Evening in there, he took a look to his left. Conveniently enough, he saw Evening and another pony step into the store right next to the bird-shop - a store full of white and bright clothing. "He must have meant the store 'next' to the bird-shop or something..." he spoke to himself again, as he entered after Evening, only to be trampled as soon as he stepped inside...

Pulling himself out of the flock of ponies, he spotted Evening again. Limping his way over to her, poked her leg with a hoof. "Kveld... I mean, Evening?"

"Alright, everypony," Red said to everyone working. However no one listened. "Everyone, I need your attention." Still no one listened to Red.

"EVERYPONY!" Red shouted in a loud voice, "Thank you... So, it seems this group, the way it is, is not going to get anything done. It's disorganized as hell, as I see." Red motions to a group, "You guys, earth ponies, do the decorations around the entrance. You other guys, pegasi, decorate the higher areas. Unicorns, just lend a helping hand around, and try to get areas that the other guys missed."

Red was quite surprised he was able to think clearly after his breakup with Neon.

Every one of the ponies who were Sterling's acquaintances and friends stopped when they heard Red's shout. He gave out his instructions, and they all got to work post haste. They knew the media outlets were coming, so they had to make the entire chapel look garden like and fertile because that was the desired theme of the wedding. Green streamers and flowers of all sizes were brought into the chapel hall. Small trees were placed by the pews at the centre aisle. The ponies were hard at work, but as they continued to work, the chapel became greener and fresher, just what Sterling wanted for the wedding tomorrow.

Sterling's parents were still at their apartment complex in Hayten Island. They had finally chosen the gift they would give Evening for her wedding. "Oh Front. That's perfect! She'll love this! And the fact it's a family heirloom for all the brides on your side of the family. The bow's red colour, the fact it's from at least 200 years ago, and the fact it's been so well kept! Evie will love this! Let's get going now! We need to help Sterling with the procession!" proclaimed a delighted Bubble Gum as she began to walk out the door.

Sterling's father Front too was very happy with the fact he finally found the heirloom; it had been hidden well within the attic of their apartment under the consideration that Sterling would never find his mare. Now that he did, the heirloom for Evening was simply perfect. He walked with Sunny with a confident nod as the couple trotted towards the chapel...

"Glad to see things worked out with you and Evening," Red Talon said to him, a bit worn out from monitoring everypony. "The chapel looks amazing!"

Sterling was reflecting on the grace endowed to him by the princesses. He had so much to be thankful for. A wonderful mare for his wife, ponies who helped out with all the decorations, Dr. Thorrington, Mr. Hayfield, even... wait, what? NOO... Scrap that. He also had thanks for Manehattan itself; the fact this chapel existed right by Central Park was a dream come true for Evening. Finally, his parents, how could he forget his parents?! And where were they?! They were supposed to be coming soon! Sterling looked around with slight fear, but did not forget to count his blessings nonetheless. He replied to Red with glee,

"Yes this chapel is amazing isn't it Red? It's a once in a lifetime event. I often wondered whether I would be able to experience this day at all. I actually weny through so much trouble finding love. Evie just came out of... nowhere really. As soon as I laid eyes on her when she was injured on that shore, I just... felt it. I couldn't believe it myself, but it was there." it was at that moment that Sterling paused. He just remembered about the "rejection" from Red... it was tough being in his position he knew, so he stopped talking about his marriage and changed topics, "so Red. Isn't the Neightona 500 the first race of the season? If so, then why is it the biggest race of the year? I'd assume it's the race where the pony who wins gets the trophy!"

"The Neightona 500," Red said, "The most prestigious event on the NASCOLT schedule. You'd assume that the final race of the season is the biggest, but in NASCOLT, they really go out with a huge bang. Plus, the winner takes home the coveted trophy, and a 1 million bit check. The Neightona 500 trophy is the second most prestigious trophy, right behind the actual Trot Cup Championship trophy itself."

Evening did not like the attention she and Kismet got when they got in, being 'ambushed' by the workers was way too much for her. Her face became red as she walked back and whimper shyly and quietly, she didn't walk very far though, not to far away from Kismet.

The bride shop looked really lovely; from the outside. All the white dresses and bouquets and horse shoes were really pretty, the their workers seemed way too eager to get some money out of them.

Evening was about to say something to Kismet when she felt a poke on her leg, the a familiar voice

"Kveld... I mean, Evening?" It spoke, Evening looked down to see North standing there. She smiled at the young colt

"Oh! H-Hello North." She said, still a bit stammer-ish from the flood of ponies. Say, she hasn't noticed last night, but North did seemed to have grown a bit taller..

"Lovely to see you, b-but may I ask what you're d-doing here?" A part of her mind was scolding her, telling her she sounded rude, she truly didn't think it sounded too rude though, so she hoped that it didn't come off like that to him

(OOC: I love how Sterling and Evening are the ones getting all the other members active and thinking about their character development.)

Sterling nodded with understanding. He was relieved to have dodged a bullet when he changed subjects about the Neightona 500. He then continued to ask as he looked around the chapel to see if any of the decorations still needed work, "Red... who else competes at the Neightona 500? Are the Wonderbolts involved? I wouldn't be surprised if they were. They're really fast after all. Wait, does Rainbow Dash compete there?"

Sterling nodded with understanding. He was misguided in thinking that the Neightona 500 was the first race of the season; he had always thought it was the first race of the season. "As far as I'm concerned," Red responded, "The Wonderbolts don't compete in NASCOLT events. They're more a stunt team. And Rainbow Dash? I've been trying for a long time to talk her into making an appearance, but she has... stage fright."

@@Budding Night@@Zhooves,

Kismet began to talk to the polite mare who owned the bridal shop. She introduced herself as White Dove and welcomed the two ponies to her 'humble boutique'.

"Seems pretty far from 'humble' if you ask me..." Kismet muttered to herself. Before she could say anything else, she heard a small voice chirp up from an equally small blue colt. He was delightfully cute, and seemed to know Evening rather well.

"Excuse me a moment, Mrs. Dove," Kismet said to the manager. She turned to face Evening and the mysterious colt. Kismet was confused at first, but she realized that the two must be friends.

"WAIT!" she thought, "How could I be so stupid? Of course."

Kismet smiled to Evening and the young colt.

"You must be Sterling Crimson! Oh it's an honor to finally meet you, I'm Evening's best friend, you see, before she lost her memory and all... Let me just say that you are making the right decision by marring this beautiful mare!" Kismet said, shaking his hoof excitedly in greeting. "A bit smaller than I would have imagined, but still charming none the less!"

(I see what you did there... xD)

Sterling's parents were still walking with their family heirloom: the Crimson bow. It was a rich Crimson in colour and was only to be worn by the bride to be of the father's first colt. When they arrived at the chapel, they could hear Bah resonating from the church's organ. They knew this was the place. They walked in and saw Sterling talking with a red stallion. They remembered him as Red, especially since he was among the eight who witnessed Sterling's near death experience. They made sure to peek away into Central Park as they placed their heirloom carefully at the "gifts for Evening" table under a safe-locked tent. They were given the code into the glass surrounded tent: 8525. They entered the code, quietly placed their gift on the white table, and walked out. They then returned to the chapel to see the preparations...

-----------------------------

Sterling was still amazed at Rainbow Dash's lack of confidence... Red had to find some way to get Rainbow Dash racing; it would make her a world-renowned star! Who cares about the Wonderbolts if she had that?! Sterling then replied, "You should seriously get Rainbow Dash to get into NASCOLT! Just poke fun at her asking her why she'd want to be a Wonderbolt if she has stage fright."

Red looked around once more. "Wow, can't wait for the wedding tomorrow! We really outdid ourselves!"

Red then let out a sigh, remembering once more the fact that he's without a mare.

As the preparations continued to unfold, Sterling was more and more delighted at the finished product. The streamers were up in full force just like the Royal Wedding in Canterlot. The trees were all identical to each other and they reflected the fertility of the wedding beautifully with its lush green colours. The red carpet was also cleaned, emanating a bright red colour. Sterling looked around in awe but was suddenly interrupted by a voice. A familiar voice. "STERLING!!!" Sterling ran past Red towards Bubble Gum. "MOOOM!!!!" Sterling shouted as he hugged his mother as tightly as he could. He hadn't seen her since he recovered from his gun wound at the hospital!

Sterling saw Front Page with her as well. After he hugged his mother dearly, he shouted again, "DAAAAAADDDD!!!" Front Page looked on with a slight horror in his eyes as Sterling ran up and tackled him. "Sterling! Get off me! Hahaha!" shouted Front Page as his voice clearly indicated happiness at seeing his son this close to being married to Evening Glory...

DJ and Vinyl trotted into the chapel, and were immediately hit by a wave of serenading music. Brick sat playing on the organ, but playing really did not describe it! DJ had heard loads of musicians in his time, but no organists quite like Brick. When Brick finished playing, DJ approached him. "Uh, excuse me, Brick?" he said. "Sterling asked us to set up the sound systems at the party, but since he doesn't know exactly where that'll be, he said you would probably know."

Brick was just finished practicing all his pieces for today. He was delighted to have finally perfected the Anna Prelude by Bah, especially considering its difficulty. He heard somepony asking him about Sterling, to which he stopped and turned. Afterwards, with a friendly smile on his face, he replied amiably, "Oh! You must be DJ. I'm so pleased to meet you face to face! And yes. the reason Sterling doesn't know where the reception is is because that's a surprise. It's in Central Park. If you look carefully to your left beyond the trees we set up there. There will be a stage. Just below the stage you can set up. Don't let Sterling know though. If he asks, just change the topic ok?
