Anything from the community you like? As in like a fan fiction verse, music and what not?

 

Don't get me wrong, I like the kind nature of the show. But I also like reading stories about the horrors of war, Mass Effect/Futurama themes/science fiction, sad tragic stories, zombie apocalypse, The Conversion Bureau (Well, some stories within the Alternative Conversion Bureau) and some peaceful universes where Ponies and Human are friends.

well, i loved fallout equestria with all my heart :3 

but i'm not much for really grim/dark fanfics. they tend to really change my view on the actual show.

like when you read a fic of fluttershy being kidnappen and forced to do "stuff" in a time period like 20 years after the show, i just feel so bad for the ponies like i know what's going to happen to them in 20 years, and they didn't deserve that, did they?

Of all he material the fandom produces, my favorite is fan animation/youtube videos.  Particularly anything by Mr. Broniator, Epic Cupcake Time, Epic Pie Time, the .MOV series, the dramatic reading of Alex Warlorn's Discorded Ponies, its follow up Reharmonized Ponies, and Dr. Whooves and Assistant.

 

I don't read a whole lot of fanfiction, but as far as those go my favorite is On a Cross and Arrow.

I'm not a sadist. But I do like stories where suffering, pain and horror happens.

 

I like seeing monsters and those good people defying them: Good Vs Evil.

 

Case in point a holocaust/war of survival themed story where Nazi like Ponies of The Conversion Bureau verse invade Earth/universe to wipe out the Human race, by turning them into mindless smiling zombie Ponies, who turn on their family and friends and kill them if they refuse to become a Pony.

 

However, I will never read a story that's literally just about rape. Never!

How exactly did Conversion Bureau become popular? From what I heard, it was so bad that even the original author denounced it. Why are people so interested in the premise of humans being turned into ponies?

 

And yeah, Fallout: Equestria is the obvious answer here. That fic is so good that I can't even play the game it's based on without my mind being dominated by thoughts of FO:E's superiority. It literally ruined one of my all-time favorite games for me just by being so damn good.

I like a lot from the fandom, the fandom continues to impress me all the time honestly.

 

Specifically my favorites are probaly fan animations and stuff, aswell as some music such as black gryphons proud to be a brony(Expecially the fusion mix) and isnt it great to be different by forest rain, along with a bunch of stuff from mando pony.

 

I also like epic cupcake time, and snowflake, and double rainboom. I also like a few other animations from stuff like brony dance party and many others really.

 

I also like the "rainbow dash reads" series by flimflamfilosphy, aswell as the mentally advanced series and friendship is witchcraft.

 

And of course I've seen many bits of art that are awesome, can't name any specifics though.

 

So yeah, there is a whole lot I didn't include I like from the fandom, there's to much to list it all frankly.

 

You could say I'm slightly obsessed with the fandom :3

The fan made art and videos based on the show really does impress you and show you that the fandom is all about creativity, where we all can come together as one community and where we can enjoy the originality that we all have.

The music is definitely one of my favorites, if i had never heard odyssey, i would have never discovered Eurobeat.

 

Also the animations are awesome, i love the flufflepuff videos.

Because some people like me like to read stories about brutal, suffering and pain, see into the minds of those who are in a war they know they can't win, monstrous brutality, death of innocents, the feelings of those who lost their friends and family,blood sweat and tears, action packed, technology vs magic, the horrors of war themed stories where Humans and Ponies kill each other in all out total war. And even cases where Ponies (Ponies fighting for Humanity's survival) killing other Ponies that wish to wipe out the Human race.

This^. If you're a fan of Phoenix Wright I think this is one fan project you mustn't avoid. The creator likes to take his/her time on making sure the animation for each is as perfect as possible (A large reason why the periods between each upload is awhile) but in the end I think it's worth it, and the case itself has as many tense moments, twists, in-jokes from both AA and MLP, and the music to boot to make it work.
